La Clusaz celebrates
Issy-les-Moulineaux, Thursday May 21, 2015 ROC DES ALPES - LA CLUSAZ 12-14 june 2015 La Clusaz celebrates A mix of sporting events and family and interactive entertainment will, once again, pace this festive weekend of the Roc des Alpes - La Clusaz (June 12-14). Key points A programme of sporting and friendly entertainment Free entertainment for children Roc Ruelles and Super Spéciale EnduRoc in the heart of the resort A mural painted by street artist Tito Tomasi and an evening of music for the “bonne soirée” on Saturday. This third edition of the Roc des Alpes – La Clusaz has enhanced its entertainment programme to make the event denser and more festive. Over the three days, the “Moniteurs du Cyclisme Français” (MCF), reputed to be the “top guns“ of the staff, will animate several free of charge activities. Big Air Bag (mountain bike jumping into large inflatable mattresses), manoeuvrability, a road safety workshop, trial show and the pump track (jumps and banked turns), what more to occupy the family while waiting for the competitors to return. On Saturday afternoon, Tito Tomasi, travelling mountain bike sport adventurer, artist and author of “Trial of Freedom”, will paint a mural in the heart of the village. The public will be invited to add its personal touch to this work in the image of Roc des Alpes – La Clusaz. While the paint dries, all are invited to the “bonne soirée”. On the sporting side, several events have been specially prepared in the heart of the village to allow the streets of the resort to resonate throughout the day. The Roc Ruelles has long proved its worth and has become synonymous with the spirit of the Roc. The participants of the Roc des Alpes – La Clusaz will have the chance to, once again, verify this on Friday June 12 at 6pm on the ultra-spectacular circuit designed in the heart of the resort with stairs, 90° corners, multiple reaccelerations, etc… Early Saturday evening, a Super Special EnduRoc will allow those participants who competed in the two EnduRocs to set off form the top of the resort to arrive at the church square. A giant aperitif will then be on offer (7-9pm), before the Karnavires company of artists takes over the La Clusaz city centre (9:15pm-10pm) for a show mixing street art and fireworks. Then the traditional musical evening animated by Radio Meuh will follow. We await you for the party.
