1. Introduction
The CPR software is the ideal tool to monitor and register your training with Ambu manikins. It
provides you with all the essential training parameters so that you can control and improve the
training sessions. It is the possibility of saving and printing all information that helps you grade
a trainee’s performance and later to document your decision.
The former DOS version was on the market for 9 years and its features are well accepted all
over the world. When developing the Windows based version we therefore tried to maintain its
features and the idea of a simple and structured display. In addition, we included some new
features, e.g. a trainee database function, self-defined recommendations or the possibility to
record the time of an event.
Moreover, the program was developed to communicate with up to 18 manikins at the same
time. Hereby a trainer can for instance survey and record the performance of two teams on
one PC/laptop. After such training session, or in a break, he can then evaluate the performance team by team.
Finally, the interface and cables were reconstructed to match the demands of the hard- and
software used today. The interface was included in the plug of the enclosed ADC (Analog
Digital Converter) interface cable. USB version (234 000 728) (234 000 727).

The requirements for the multi-user application are described in chapter 3.
System Requirements (Ambu equipment)
The Ambu CPR Software is designed to register, visualize, save, and print the CPR performance during a training session. The Ambu CPR Software Kit includes the Ambu 32-bit ADC
interface cable that must to be connected to the computer with one of the Ambu training
manikins mentioned below. The former Ambu Man CPR interface is not 32-bit compatible and
can therefore only be used with the former DOS software.
For use with USB, please use 234 000 727.

It is possible to use the Ambu CPR Software in a training setup consisting of more than one
Ambu training manikin. Each connected manikin requires one Ambu CPR Software Kit.

2.1 Assembly and connection
1. Connect the ADC interface cable with the 6-pin DIN-plug to the connector on the side of
the monitoring instrument (Ambu Man).
2. Connect the 9-pin plug on the interface to serial port RS 232 C (COM 1 or COM 2) of the
computer.
If your computer has a 25-pin serial port connector buy a converter plug at your local computer shop.
You can place an RS 232 extension of max. 10 m between the PC and the ADC interface cable, if necessary. With USB Interface, install software first.
2.2 Installing the Ambu CPR Software
The Ambu CPR Software is delivered on a CD-ROM and installs like most other Windows
applications. It is possible to create a floppy disk version within the Installation routine which
can be used to install the program from floppy disks.
To install the Ambu CPR Software from the CD-ROM, do the following:
1. If Windows isn’t running, please start it now.
2. Insert the Ambu CPR Software CD into your CD-ROM drive.
Windows should detect the CD and automatically run the installation software. If the automatic detection feature is turned off, please start the installation software by clicking Start,
select Run..., and type D:\setup.exe (where D is the drive letter of your CDROM drive).
Then click OK or press ENTER.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen.
During the installation you have the possibility of choosing the language version you would
like to install. It is possible to mark and hereby to install more than one language.
With USB interface:
After installing the software connect the USB interface and follow instructions on the screen.
Make sure that drivers for the interface comes from the CD.

2.3 Starting the Ambu CPR Software
You can start the Ambu CPR Software from
· The Start menu
· My Computer or the Windows Explorer

• Click the Start button. The Start menu opens.
• Choose Programs. The Programs folder opens.
• Choose Ambu CPR Software. The Ambu CPR Software folder opens.
• Click Ambu CPR Software (desired language)
My Computer or the Windows Explorer
To start the Ambu CPR Software from My Computer or the Windows Explorer, navigate to
C:\windows\start menu\programs\Ambu CPR software\
(for Windows 95/98)
C:\winnt\profiles\all users\start menu\programs\Ambu CPR software\ (for Windows NT)
and double-click Ambu CPR Software (desired language).lnk.
2.4 The New Session Window
When you start the Ambu CPR Software, a calibration routine starts to detect where and how
many Ambu ADC interface cables (see chapter 3) are connected to your computer.
Then, the New session dialogue box appears.

A Scenario consists of an Algorithm, the Duration, and which Training mode you want to
use in a session.

The pull-down menu gives you the possibility to choose a predefined scenario. It is possible
to modify the chosen scenario with the Algorithm, Duration, and Training mode pull-down
menus.
By clicking the Details buttons, you can create or delete an existing scenario or algorithm.
The software automatically calibrates the Com-port where the ADC interface cable is attached. If several ADC interface cables are detected the Manikin pull-down menu gives you the
possibility to select the one you want to use.
If necessary, it is possible to start a new calibration via the Calibrate button.
Participants
The number of participants varies depending on the chosen Training mode.
The software provides you with the possibility to personalize and organize the training session.
Out of a database that you access via the Details buttons it is possible to choose the participants for the Ventilation and/or Compression training.
Press Continue to enter the Main Window
2.5 The Ambu CPR Software Main Window
The main window appears. This window is your workspace, and it contains the tools you will
use to calibrate, start, show and survey training sessions. When you first open the CPR software, your workspace will contain the graph window described in 2.5.1.

It is possible to measure time intervals by clicking on the left mouse button and dragging the
area that should be evaluated
By clicking the right mouse button you can decrease the time display.
For further information please refer to the information in the online-help (see chapter 2.6).
Pause the session and press Debriefing to enter the Debriefing view.

The debriefing view makes it possible for the trainer to form a general view of the students
ability to carry out CPR.

2.5.3 The review view
When the session has been prepared, visualized, and the debriefing is over, the final step of
the session process is the Review view.
In the review view, it is possible to change the names of the participants in the session, to
mark whether the metronome was used or not, to decide whether the session is approved or
not, and to mark who approved the session. Finally, it's possible to write notes regarding the
session.
When all of this has been completed, you should press "Close" (if you paused a session the
button is named “Abort”) to mark that the session is over. The software will now ask you if you
want to save the session in the database.
2.6 Getting help
<F1> Button
You can get help regarding a specific feature by placing the cursor over the feature and pressing <F1>.
Tooltips and Status Bar
To see the name and function of a button on the toolbar, or a feature in a palette, place the
cursor over it. A short description appears after a short time.

2.7 Exiting the Ambu CPR Software
The Ambu CPR Software closes in the same way as most Windows programs. To exit the
Ambu CPR Software, do one of the following:
• Choose Exit from the File menu
• Click the main window’s Close button
• Press <Alt> + <F4>
2.8 Uninstalling the Ambu CPR Software
To remove the Ambu CPR Software from your computer:
1. Click the Start menu button to open the Start menu.
2 Point to Programs, then to Ambu CPR Software, and click Uninstall Ambu CPR Software.

1. Click the Start menu button to open the Start menu.
2. Point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. The Control Panel opens.
3. Double click the Add/Remove Programs icon. The Add/Remove programs Properties dialog
box opens.
4. If necessary, click the Install/Uninstall tab to bring it to the front.
5. Scroll through the list box to find the Ambu CPR Software
6 Highlight the Ambu CPR Software
7. Click the Add/Remove button.
The uninstall setup program starts.
3. Multi-user function
During the last years, several training centers asked for the possibility of connecting more than
one manikin to one computer. Hereby it is possible for one trainer to survey, record, and control the performance of several training groups.
In order to realize and test the simplest and most effective solution, we worked close together
with Mr. Schuhwerk and his training center in St. Gallen (Switzerland). As a result it is now
possible to run the software with one as well as with up to 18 manikins on one PC.
3.1 Your system setup
System Requirements (PC)
The System Requirements for a Multi-user function are equal to the ones for the use with one
manikin except from the required amount of Com-ports or USB-ports:

Most standard PC's have 2 Com-ports, so you can attach 2 manikins without modifying your
hardware setup, unless your mouse connects to one of them.
In order to create additional Com-ports a serial extension board including a Windows driver
must be purchased. In this regard, the software design is independent of extension board,
allowing different solutions, e.g. ISA-cards, PCI-cards and PCMCIA. Ask your local hardware
supplier (PC) for further information.

3.2 Assembly and connection
Proceed with each manikin as follows:
1. Connect the ADC interface cable with the 6-pin DIN-plug to the connector on the side of
the monitoring instrument (Ambu Man).
2. Connect the 9-pin plug on the interface to serial port RS 232 C (Com-port) of the computer.
If your computer has a 25-pin serial port connector, buy a converter plug at your local computer shop.
You can place an RS 232 extension cable of max. 10 m between the PC and the interface
ADC-cable, if necessary.
3.2.1 Adding 8 Com Ports to your PC
The Moxa C168H/PCI and Moxa Opt 8 D provide you with an 8 port serial board for PCI, the
required Windows drivers, and an 8 port RS-232 octopus cable. Hereby you increase the
amount of Com-ports up to 10 (8 additional + 2 local Com-ports). That is to say, you can connect up to 10 manikins.
The installation of this card consists of hardware and a software installation.
The hardware installation requires that you open the PC housing and plug the board into a free PCI expansion slot. Furthermore you will have to connect the octopus cable.
During the software installation you might have to assign the
Com-port numbers dependent on the hard- and software you
are using.
For further information, please refer to the instructions
following the device.
If you are not familiar with the above-mentioned installation, we highly recommend that
you purchase a standard solution from the company where you bought your PC, or that
you get support.
3.2.2 Adding 2/4 Com Ports to your Laptop
The Argosy PCMCIA RS232 Quad Port Serial Card (Laptop) provides you with a PCMCIA card
with extra serial port(s) for Notebook applications and the required Windows drivers. Hereby
you increase the amount of Com-ports up to 3/5 (2/4 additional + 1 local Com-port). That is to
say you can connect up to 3/5 manikins to your laptop. Most notebooks have two PCMCIAslots which means that you can double the amount of additional Com ports by purchasing
two cards.

The installation of this card consists of a hardware and a software installation.
The hardware installation requires that you insert the Serial PC
Card into the free PCMCIA 2.1 slot.
During the software installation, you might have to assign the

3.3 The Course planner
When you connect many Ambu manikins to the computer, we recommend that you use the
Course planner to plan the training sessions.
When you plan a course, first you should enter your name as the instructor of the course.
Then, select which scenario should be the default one for this group session. Now, for each
training session, enter the names of the participants in the next empty row, and select which
manikin, the session is performed with. The software will automatically fill in preliminary startand end-times of the session, and prepare a new, empty row for the next training session.
If one of more of the training sessions should be done with other parameters than the default
scenario, press the Details button in the corresponding row, and change the parameters as
wanted.
When all of the course has been planned, press the Run course button to proceed. If you
want to, you can press Print to get an overview of the session printed on your printer.

3.4 Run course
In the Run course window, the software is ready to handle the training session.
Advertise the participants of each session, and when they are ready, press the Play button in
the corresponding row to start the training session. A graph view will appear behind the Run
course window, and register the training session in the background in the graph view.
When a training session completes, a check mark will appear in the corresponding row of the
Run course window, and you can prepare for the next training session.
During the execution of a course, you can make last minute changes in the order of sessions
or setup of each session with the Move row up, Move row down, and Details buttons.
By using the toolbar icons, you can move back and forth between the graph view or the Run
course window and monitor each individual session in detail, or the overall progress of the
course. You can also use keyboard short-cuts to speed up this navigation. See the online help
for more information.
In addition to these facilities, the software provides a surveillance window which provides an
overview of the graphs of many training sessions at once.

3.5 The Surveillance Window
This window allows you to survey the different sessions, you are running.
Active sessions are shown on a white background, while completed sessions have a grey
background.
By double clickingdatabase dialogsbutton, or single clicking the right mouse button, on one of
the views, you open the corresponding graph window.
3.6 The database dialogs
The database dialogs in the program are designed with a standard interface. They share the
same appearance and have the same buttons for navigation and editing.
For example, the Database | Algorithms dialog:

At the top of the dialog, you will find the Quick Find drop down list. Use this list to quickly
locate any given algorithm by clicking on it, scroll in the list until you find the one you need to
inspect, or edit. This principle applies to all database dialogs. The following directions will
apply to the all of the persons, scenarios, and courses dialogs.
In order to understand how the database system works, imagine that all of the algorithms are
lined up next to each other in an alphabetically ordered list, where one of these is the current
record shown on screen, marked with the arrow:
When you use the four navigation buttons next to the Quick Find list, you can move to the
previous record, the next record, the first record or the final record. This record now becomes
the current record.
When you change fields in the algorithm, you only edit the current record. If you change the
name of the algorithm, you will change its position in the list (this can not be seen on screen,
because the algorithm is still current):
We don’t recommend you to change the pre-defined algorithms, so press Discard changes to
drop the changes, and the record will return to the original position in the original form.
If you press New algorithm, a new algorithm will be created at the extreme right of the list.
This becomes the active algorithm:

Fill in the record as wished, and when you press Save changes the algorithm will move to the
correct alphabetical position in the list, (it will still remain on the screen):
If you want to create a copy of an algorithm, you must create a new algorithm, and manually
enter all of the fields.
It is not possible to have two different algorithms with the same name. Therefore, you have to
make sure that the name is changed. For instance, you might enter a new person with the
name “John Austin Smith”, and discover that another person with the same name already
exists in the database when you press Save changes. Therefore, abbreviate the name to
“John A. Smith”, or just use “John Smith” to differentiate the two people.
Notice that the different databases are interconnected: For instance, the persons that appear
as participants in sessions are linked to the person database. If you change the name of a
person in the Database | Persons dialog, the system will automatically update the name in
any of the sessions this person has participanted in. Similarly, if you delete a person from the
database, the program will warn you that you will also remove all of the sessions and courses
that this person has participated in. This maintains consistency in the database.

1. Einleitung
Die CPR (Cardiopulmonale Reanimation)-Software ermöglicht die direkte Überwachung und
Aufzeichnung Ihres Trainings mit Ambu Trainingsgeräten. Sie erhalten alle wesentlichen Trainingsparameter, die zur Steuerung und Verbesserung der Trainingseinheiten erforderlich sind.
Die Möglichkeit, alle Informationen zu speichern bzw. auszudrucken, hilft Ihnen, die Leistung
eines Schülers zu beurteilen und Ihre Entscheidung später zu dokumentieren.
Die frühere DOS-Version war neun Jahre auf dem Markt und ist weltweit anerkannt. Daher
behielten wir bei der Entwicklung der Windows-Version sowohl alle Eigenschaften der DOSVersion, als auch das einfache und gut durchstrukturierte Anzeigesystem, weitgehend bei.
Einige neue Merkmale kamen hinzu, wie z.B. eine Teilnehmer-Datenbank, (selbst) definierbare
Empfehlungen oder die Möglichkeit, den Zeitpunkt eines Ereignisses aufzuzeichnen.
Ferner erlaubt das Programm die Kommunikation mit bis zu 18 Trainingsgeräten gleichzeitig.
Somit kann ein Instruktor beispielsweise die Arbeit von zwei Teams auf einem PC / Laptop
überwachen und erfassen. Nach einer Trainingseinheit, oder in einer Pause, kann er dann die
Arbeit jedes einzelnen Teams auswerten.
Schließlich wurden noch die Schnittstelle und das Kabel den heutigen Hardware- und Software-Anforderungen angepaßt. Die Schnittstelle wurde in den Stecker des beigefügten A/DWandler-Interfacekabels integriert.

2.1 Installation und Anschluß
1. Verbinden Sie das A/D-Wandler-Interfacekabel mit dem sechspoligen DIN-Stecker m it der
Buchse an der Seite des Anzeigeinstrumentes.
2. Verbinden Sie den neunpoligen Interfacestecker mit dem seriellen Port RS 232 C (COM 1
oder COM 2) Ihres Computers.
Falls Ihr Computer mit einer 25poligen seriellen Buchse ausgestattet ist, wird ein zusätzlicher Adapter notwendig .
Bei Bedarf können Sie für den Anschluß des A/D-Wandler-Interfacekabels an Ihren PC ein
RS 232-Verlängerungskabel mit einer Höchstlänge von 10 m verwenden. Mit USB-Schnittstelle bitte zuerst die Software installieren.
2.2 Installation der CPR-Software
Die Ambu CPR Software wird auf einer CD-ROM geliefert und ist wie die meisten anderen
Windows-Anwendungen zu installieren. Bei der Installationsroutine kann eine Diskettenversion
erstellt werden, die zur Installation des Programms von Disketten verwendet werden kann.
Befolgen Sie die nachstehenden Schritte, um die Ambu CPR Software von der CD-ROM zu
installieren:
1. Wenn Sie Windows noch nicht gestartet haben, tun Sie es jetzt.
2. Legen Sie die Ambu CPR Software CD in Ihr CD-ROM-Laufwerk ein.
Windows sollte die CD erkennen und die Installationssoftware automatisch ausführen.
Falls die automatische Erkennung ausgeschaltet ist, starten Sie die Installationssoftware,
indem Sie die Start-Taste anklicken und Ausführen ... anwählen und dann D:\setup.exe
eingeben (sofern D die Bezeichnung Ihres CD-ROM-Laufwerks ist). Klicken Sie nun OK,
oder drücken Sie die Eingabe-Taste.
3. Folgen Sie den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm.
Während der Installation haben Sie die Möglichkeit zu wählen, in welcher Landessprache Sie
die Software installieren möchten. Sie können mehrere Sprachen markieren und installieren.
Mit USB-Schnittstelle:
Nach dem Installieren der Software die USB-Schnittstelle anschließen und den Anweisungen
auf dem Bildschirm folgen. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass die Treiber für die Schnittstelle von der CD
stammen.

2.4 Das Fenster Neue Trainingseinheit
Wenn Sie die Ambu CPR Software starten, überprüft ein Kalibrierungsprogramm, wieviele
Ambu A/D-Wandler-Interfacekabel (siehe Kapitel 3) und wo diese an Ihren PC angeschlossen
sind.
Es erscheint die Dialogbox Neue Trainingseinheit:

Ein Fall beinhaltet einen Algorithmus, die Dauer und den Trainingsmodus für die bevorstehende Trainingseinheit.
Aus einem Pull-down-Menü können Sie einen bereits vordefinierten Fall auswählen und mit
Hilfe der Pull-down-Menüs für den Algorithmus, die Dauer und den Trainingsmodus verändern.
Durch Anklicken der Tasten Details können Sie einen Fall / einen Algorithmus erstellen oder

ein bestehendes / einen bestehenden löschen.
Die Software kalibriert den COM-Port, an den das A/D-Wandler-Interfacekabel angeschlossen
ist, automatisch. Falls mehrere A/D-Wandler-Interfacekabel erkannt werden, haben Sie im Pulldown-Menü für das Gerät die Möglichkeit, das auszuwählen, welches Sie benutzen wollen.
Bei Bedarf kann über die Taste Kalibrierung eine erneute Kalibrierung gestartet werden.
Teilnehmer
Die Anzahl der Teilnehmer hängt vom gewählten Trainingsmodus ab.
Die Software gibt Ihnen die Möglichkeit, die Übung Ihren persönlichen Bedürfnissen anzupassen und zu organisieren. Aus einer Datenbank, zu der Sie über die Tasten Details Zugang
haben, können Sie die Teilnehmer für ein Beatmungs- und / oder Kompressionstraining
auswählen.
Drücken Sie Weiter, um in das Hauptfenster zu gelangen.
2.5 Das Ambu CPR Software Hauptfenster

Die Ansicht Trainingsauswertung erlaubt dem Instruktor, sich einen allgemeinen Überblick über
die Fähigkeiten der Schüler zu verschaffen.

Die Anzeige (A) muß sich im grünen Bereich befinden. Dadurch wird angezeigt, daß die verschiedenen Parameter korrekt nach den eingestellten Empfehlungen ausgeführt worden sind.
Die im Balken (B) angezeigten Werte geben den Durchschnitt oder den Prozentsatz der
während der Trainingseinheit erreichten Leistung an.
Um die Ziffern anzeigen zu lassen, auf welchen die Auswertung basiert, drücken Sie auf die
Tasten Details (C).
Nähere Einzelheiten finden Sie im Hilfemenü (siehe Kapitel 2.6).

2.5.3 Die Gesamtübersicht
Nach Abschluss einer Trainingseinheit durch die Auswertung bzw. Betrachtung der Ergebnisse
folgt als letzte Ansicht die Gesamtübersicht.
In der Gesamtübersicht können Sie Informationen zu den Übungsteilnehmern, zum Metronom,
über den Trainer und die Ergebnisse der Trainingseinheit eingeben.
Nach der Durchführung dieses Schrittes sollten Sie die Taste Schließen (bzw. Abbrechen, falls
die Trainingeinheit lediglich unterbrochen wurde) drücken, um die Trainingseinheit ordnungsgemäß zu beenden. Sie werden dann gefragt, ob Sie die Einheit in einer Datenbank speichern
wollen.
2.6 Hilfe aufrufen
Die Funktionstaste <F1>
Sie können Hilfe zu einem bestimmten Punkt erhalten, indem Sie den Cursor darauf positionieren und die <F1>-Taste drücken.
Quick-Info und Statuszeile
Um die Bezeichnung und die Funktion eines Symbols in der Symbolleiste oder in einer Palette
anzeigen zu lassen, positionieren Sie den Cursor darauf. Wenig später erscheint eine Kurzbeschreibung.

2.7 Verlassen der Ambu CPR Software

2.8 Deinstallation der Ambu CPR Software
Um die Ambu CPR Software von Ihrem Computer zu entfernen.
1. Klicken Sie die Start-Taste an, um das Startmenü zu öffnen.
2. Positionieren Sie den Courser zunächst auf Programme, dann auf Ambu CPR Software
und klicken Sie dann auf Ambu CPR Software deinstallieren

5. Durchsuchen Sie das Listenfeld nach der Ambu CPR Software
6. Markieren Sie die Ambu CPR Software
7. Klicken Sie die Taste Hinzufügen / Entfernen.
Das Deinstallationsprogramm wird gestartet.
3 Mehrfachanschluß von Trainingsgeräten
In den vergangenen Jahren wurde von verschiedenen Ausbildungszentren der Wunsch
geäußert mehr als ein Trainingsgerät an einen Computer anschließen zu können. Dadurch
kann der Trainer die Leistung von bis zu 18 Trainingsgruppen gleichzeitig überwachen, aufzeichnen und steuern.
3.1 Systemkonfiguration
3.1.1 Systemanforderungen (PC)
Die Systemanforderungen för eine Mehrfachanschluss-Funktion sind dieselben wie bei der
Anwendung mit nur einem Gerät, mit Ausnahme der erforderlichen Anzahl Com-Ports oder
USB-Anschlüsse:

Die meisten Standard-PCs verfügen über 2 COM-Ports, so daß Sie 2 Geräte anschließen können, ohne Ihre Hardware-Konfiguration verändern zu müssen, es sei denn, Ihre Maus ist an
einen dieser COM-Ports angeschlossen.
Um zusätzliche COM-Ports zu erhalten, müssen Sie eine serielle Erweiterungskarte mit einem
Windows-Treiber kaufen. Die Software ist vom Typ der Karte unabhängig, so daß Sie verschiedene Möglichkeiten haben: z.B. ISA-Karten, PCI-Karten und PCMCIA. Bitte erkundigen Sie
sich bei Ihrem PC-Händler.

3.2 Installation und Anschluß
Gehen Sie mit jedem Gerät wie folgt vor.
1. Verbinden Sie das A/D-Wandler-Interfacekabel mit dem sechspoligen DIN-Stecker mit der
Buchse an der Seite des Anzeigeinstrumentes.
2. Verbinden Sie den neunpoligen Interfacestecker mit dem seriellen Port RS 232 C (COMPort) Ihres Computers.
Falls Ihr Computer mit einer 25poligen seriellen Buchse ausgestattet ist, fragen Sie bei
Ihrem Computerhändler nach einem Adapter.
Bei Bedarf können Sie für den Anschluß des A/D-Wandler-Interfacekabels an Ihren PC ein RS
232-Verlängerungskabel mit einer Höchstlänge von 10 m verwenden.
3.2.1 Hinzufügen von 8 COM-Ports in Ihren PC
Mit Moxa C168H/PCI und Moxa Opt 8 D erhalten Sie eine serielle Karte mit 8 PCI-Schnittstellen, die erforderlichen Windows-Treiber und ein RS-232-Kabel für 8 Schnittstellen. Damit
erhöhen Sie die Anzahl an COM-Ports auf 10 (8 zusätzliche + 2 vorhandene COM-Ports). Das
bedeutet, daß Sie bis zu 10 Geräte anschließen können.
Die Installation dieser Karte erfordert Hardware- und SoftwareInstallation.Für die Hardware-Installation müssen Sie das
Gehäuse Ihres PC öffnen und die Karte in einen freien PCISteckplatz einstecken. Ferner müssen Sie das RS-232-Kabel
anschließen.
Während der Software-Installation müssen Sie möglicherweise
die Nummern der COM-Ports entsprechend der von Ihnen
benutzten Hardware und Software vergeben.

3.2.2 Hinzufügen von 2/4 COM-Ports in Ihr Laptop
Mit der Argosy PCMCIA RS232 Quad Port Serial Card (Laptop) erhalten Sie eine PCMCIA-Karte mit zusätzlichen seriellen Schnittstellen für Notebook-Anwendungen und die erforderlichen
Windows-Treiber. Damit erhöhen Sie die Anzahl der COM-Ports auf 3/5 (2/4 zusätzliche + 1
vorhandener COM-Port). Das bedeutet, daß sie bis zu 3/5 Geräte an Ihr Laptop anschließen
können. Die meisten Notebooks verfügen über zwei PCMCIA-Steckplätze, so daß Sie durch
den Kauf von zwei Paketen die Anzahl an zusätzlichen COM-Ports verdoppeln können.

3.3 Der Kursplaner
Falls Sie eine große Anzahl an Ambu Trainingsgeräten an Ihren Computer anschließen, empfehlen wir Ihnen, zur Planung der Trainingseinheiten den Kursplaner zu verwenden.
Bei der Planung eines Kurses sollten Sie als Instuktor zunächst Ihren Namen eingeben. Dann
wählen Sie den für die Trainingseinheit gewünschten Standard-Fall aus. Nun geben Sie in der
nächsten freien Zeile für jedes Training die Namen der Teilnehmer ein und bestimmen, mit welchem Gerät das Training durchgeführt werden soll. Die Software wird automatisch die vorläufigen Start- und Endzeiten des Trainings eingeben und eine neue Leerzeile für die nächste
Übung bereitstellen.
Falls Sie eine oder mehrere Trainingseinheiten mit vom Standard-Fall abweichenden Parametern durchführen möchten, drücken Sie die Taste Details in der entsprechenden Zeile und
ändern Sie die Parameter.
Wenn die Planung des Kurses abgeschlossen ist, drücken Sie die Taste Kurs ausführen, um
fortzufahren.
Durch Drücken der Taste Zeitplan drucken können Sie einen Überblick über die Trainingseinheit ausdrucken lassen.

3.4 Kurs beginnen
Wenn das Fenster Kurs beginnen erscheint, ist die Software bereit für die nächste Trainingseinheit
Wenn die Teilnehmer bereit sind, drücken Sie die Taste Abspielen in der entsprechenden Zeile, um mit dem Training beginnen zu können. Hinter dem Fenster Kurs durchführen erscheint
eine Graphikansicht, in der das Training im Hintergrund in der Graphikansicht aufgezeichnet
wird.
Nach Abschluß eines Trainings erscheint ein Häkchen in der entsprechenden Zeile des
Fensters Kurs durchführen. Sie können sich nun auf das nächste Training vorbereiten.
Während eines Trainings können Sie noch letzte Änderungen hinsichtlich der Reihenfolge vornehmen, indem Sie die Tasten Zeile nach oben, Zeile nach unten und Details drücken.
Mit Hilfe der Symbole auf der Symbolleiste können Sie zwischen der Graphikansicht und dem
Fenster Kurs beginnen wechseln und so jedes Training im Detail oder den Gesamtverlauf des
Kurses überwachen. Sie können auch mit Hilfe der Tastatur (short-cuts) die Navigation beschleunigen. Nähere Informationen entnehmen Sie bitte der Online-Hilfe.
Über diese Möglichkeiten hinaus verfügt die Software über ein Übersichtsfenster, wodurch Sie
eine Übersicht über die graphischen Darstellungen vieler Trainingssitzungen auf einmal erhalten.

3.5 Das Übersichtsfenster für die Mehrfachanwendung
Dieses Fenster gibt Ihnen eine Übersicht über die verschiedenen aktuellen Übungen.
Aktive Übungen sind vor einem weißen Hintergrund abgebildet - abgeschlossene auf einem
grauen.
Durch Doppelklick mit der linken Maustaste oder einfachen Klick mit der rechten Maustaste
auf eine der Abbildungen öffnen Sie das entsprechende Graphikfenster.
3.6 Die Datenbankdialoge
Die Datenbankdialoge im Programm sind mit einer Standardoberfläche aufgebaut. Alle Dialogfelder verfügen über dasselbe Erscheinungsbild sowie über dieselben Schaltflächen zum Navigieren und Bearbeiten.
Das Dialogfeld Datenbank | Algorithmen sieht beispielsweise folgendermaßen aus:

Oben im Dialogfeld befindet sich die Dropdown-Liste Quick Find (Schnellsuche). Mit dieser
Liste können Sie schnell nach einem gegebenen Algorithmus suchen. Klicken Sie einfach auf
den kleinen Pfeil, und führen Sie einen Bildlauf in der Liste aus, bis Sie den Algorithmus gefunden haben, den Sie prüfen oder bearbeiten möchten. Dieses Prinzip gilt für alle Datenbankdialoge. Folgende Anweisungen gelten für alle Dialogfelder zu Personen, Szenarien und Kursen.
Damit Sie die Funktionsweise des Datenbanksystems verstehen, stellen Sie sich bitte vor,
dass alle Algorithmen in einer alphabetisch sortierten Liste nebeneinander aufgeführt werden.
Dabei handelt es sich bei einem Algorithmus um den aktuellen Datensatz, der auf dem Bildschirm angezeigt wird und in der folgenden Abbildung mit dem Pfeil markiert ist:
Mit den vier Navigationsschaltflächen neben der Liste Quick Find (Schnellsuche) können Sie
zum vorherigen Datensatz, zum nächsten Datensatz, zum ersten Datensatz oder zum letzten
Datensatz gehen. Dadurch wird der jeweils ausgewählte Datensatz zum aktuellen Datensatz.
Wenn Sie Felder im Algorithmus ändern, bearbeiten Sie nur den aktuellen Datensatz. Wenn Sie
den Namen des Algorithmus ändern, ändern Sie damit seine Position in der Liste (dies wird
nicht auf dem Bildschirm angezeigt, da der Algorithmus immer noch der aktuelle Datensatz
ist):
Sie sollten die vordefinierten Algorithmen nicht ändern. Klicken Sie daher auf die Schaltfläche
Änderungen ablehnen, um die Änderungen zu löschen. Dadurch nimmt der Datensatz wieder
seine ursprüngliche Position und Form an.

Wenn Sie auf Neuer Algorithmus klicken, wird ganz rechts in der Liste ein neuer Algorithmus
erstellt, der gleichzeitig zum aktiven Algorithmus wird:
Tragen Sie die gewünschten Werte in den Datensatz ein. Wenn Sie auf Änderung speichern
klicken, wird der Algorithmus an die korrekte alphabetische Position in der Liste verschoben
(der Algorithmus wird noch auf dem Bildschirm angezeigt):
Wenn Sie eine Kopie eines Algorithmus erstellen möchten, müssen Sie einen neuen Algorithmus erstellen und alle Felder manuell ausfüllen.
Sie können nicht zwei Algorithmen mit demselben Namen verwenden. Aus diesem Grund
müssen Sie sicherstellen, daß der Name geändert wird. Sie könnten beispielsweise eine neue
Person mit dem Namen „Hans Walter Schmidt“ eingeben und feststellen, daß in der Datenbank bereits eine Person mit diesem Namen vorhanden ist, wenn Sie auf Änderungen speichern klicken. Kürzen Sie daher den Namen mit „Hans W. Schmidt“ ab, oder verwenden Sie
einfach „Hans Schmidt“, um beide Personen zu unterscheiden.
Beachten Sie, daß die verschiedenen Datenbanken miteinander verbunden sind: Die Personen, die als Teilnehmer in Kursen angezeigt werden, sind beispielsweise mit der Personendatenbank verknüpft. Wenn Sie den Namen einer Person im Dialogfeld Datenbank | Personen
ändern, aktualisiert das System den Namen automatisch in allen Kursen, an denen diese Person teilgenommen hat. Wenn Sie eine Person aus der Datenbank löschen, zeigt das Programm eine Warnung an, dass Sie durch den Löschvorgang auch alle Fälle und Kurse
löschen, an denen diese Person teilgenommen hat. Dadurch wird die Konsistenz der Datenbank gewährleistet.

1. Introduction
Le logiciel de RCP est l'outil idéal pour surveiller ou enregistrer votre entraînement avec les
mannequins Ambu. Il vous fournit tous les paramètres d'entraînement essentiels de manière à
ce que vous puissiez contrôler et améliorer les séances d'entraînement. C'est la possibilité de
sauvegarder et d'imprimer toutes les informations qui vous aide à évaluer les performances
d'un stagiaire puis à argumenter votre décision.
La précédente version DOS est sur le marché depuis 9 ans et ses caractéristiques sont bien
acceptées dans le monde entier. Lors de la mise au point de la version Windows, nous avons
donc essayé de conserver ses caractéristiques et l'idée d'un affichage simple et structuré. De
plus, nous avons inclus quelques caractéristiques nouvelles, par exemple une fonction de
base de données des stagiaires, des recommandations auto-définies ou la possibilité d'enregistrer l'heure d'un événement.
En outre, le logiciel a été mis au point afin de communiquer avec un maximum de 18 mannequins en même temps. Ainsi, un formateur peut par exemple surveiller et enregistrer les
performances de deux équipes sur un même PC/portable. Après une telle séance d'entraînement ou lors d'une pause, il peut ensuite évaluer les performances équipe par équipe.
Enfin, l'interface et les câbles ont été reconstruits afin de s'adapter aux exigences du matériel
et des logiciels utilisés aujourd'hui. L'interface a été incluse dans la fiche du câble d'interface
CAN (convertisseur analogique numérique) joint.

2.1 Montage et raccordement
1. Raccorder le câble d'interface CAN avec la fiche DIN à 6 contacts au connecteur situé sur
le côté de l'appareil de monitorage (Ambu Man).
2. Raccorder la fiche à 9 contacts située sur l'interface au port série RS 232 C (COM 1 ou
COM 2) de l'ordinateur.
Si votre ordinateur possède un connecteur de port série à 25 contacts, procurez-vous un
adaptateur auprès de votre magasin d'informatique local.
Vous pouvez si nécessaire installer une rallonge RS 232 de 10 m maximum entre le PC et le
câble d'interface CAN. Avec l'interface USB, installer d'abord le logiciel.
2.2 Installation du logiciel Ambu CPR Software
Le logiciel Ambu CPR Software est livré sur un CD-ROM et son installation est similaire à celle
de la plupart des autres applications Windows. Il s'agit de créer une version sur disquettes au
sein du logiciel Installation que l'on peut utiliser pour installer le logiciel à partir de disquettes.
Pour installer le logiciel Ambu CPR Software à partir du CD-ROM, procéder de la manière suivante :
1. Si Windows n'est pas activé, le lancer.
2. Insérer le CD Ambu CPR Software dans votre lecteur de CD-ROM.
Windows doit détecter le CD et exécuter automatiquement le logiciel d'installation. Si la fonction de détection automatique est hors service, lancer le logiciel d'installation en cliquant
sur Démarrer, sélectionner Exécuter..., puis taper D:\setup.exe (si D est la lettre désignant le
lecteur de CD-ROM). Cliquer ensuite sur OK ou appuyer sur ENTREE.
3. Suivre les instructions qui apparaissent à l'écran.
Pendant l'installation, vous avez la possibilité de choisir la langue de la version que vous souhaiteriez installer. Il est possible de cocher et donc d'installer plusieurs langues.
Avec l'interface USB :
Après avoir installé le logiciel, brancher l'interface USB et suivre les instructions affichées à
l'écran. S'assurer que les pilotes de l'interface sont extraits du CD.

2.4 Fenêtre Nouvelle séance
Lorsque vous lancez le logiciel Ambu CPR Software, un logiciel d'étalonnage démarre pour
détecter l'emplacement et le nombre de câbles d'interface CAN Ambu (voir chapitre 3) raccordés à votre ordinateur.
Apparaît alors la boîte de dialogue Nouvelle séance.

Un Scénario se compose d'un Algorithme, d'une Durée, et du Mode d'entraînement que
vous souhaitez utiliser lors d'une séance.

Le menu déroulant vous donne la possibilité de choisir un scénario prédéfini. Il est possible de
modifier le scénario choisi avec les menus déroulants Algorithme, Durée et Mode d'entraînement.
En cliquant sur les touches Détails, vous pouvez créer ou effacer un scénario ou un algorithme existant.
Le logiciel étalonne automatique le port COM auquel est relié le câble d'interface CAN. Si
plusieurs câbles d'interface CAN sont détectés, le menu déroulant Mannequin vous donne la
possibilité de choisir celui que vous souhaitez utiliser.
Si nécessaire, il est possible de lancer un nouvel étalonnage en appuyant sur la touche
Etalonner.
Participants
Le nombre de participants varie en fonction du Mode d'entraînement choisi.
Le logiciel vous offre la possibilité de personnaliser et d'organiser la séance d'entraînement.
A partir d'une base de données à laquelle vous accédez par l'intermédiaire des touches
Détails, il est possible de choisir les participants à l'entraînement à la Ventilation et/ou à la
Compression.

2.5 Fenêtre principale du logiciel Ambu CPR Software
La fenêtre principale apparaît. Cette fenêtre est votre espace de travail, et contient les outils
dont vous vous servirez pour étalonner, démarrer, afficher et surveiller des séances d'entraînement. Lorsque vous ouvrez le logiciel de RCP pour la première fois, votre espace de travail

2.5.3 Revue de Compte-rendu
Lorsque la séance a été préparée, visualisée, et que le compte rendu est terminé, l'étape finale d'une séance est l'affichage du Bilan.
Dans cet écran, il est possible de changer les noms des participants à la séance, d'indiquer si
un métronome a été utilisé ou non, de décider si la séance est approuvée ou non, et de
marquer qui a approuvé la séance. Enfin, il est possible d'annoter des remarques relatives à la
séance.
Une fois tout ceci complété, vous devez appuyer sur "Fermer" pour indiquer que la séance
est terminée. Le logiciel vous demandera alors si vous voulez sauvegarder la séance dans la
base de données.
2.6 Aide
Touche <F1>
Vous pouvez obtenir de l'aide à propos d'une caractéristique spécifique en plaçant le curseur
sur cette caractéristique et en appuyant sur <F1>.
Bulles d'aide et barre d'état
Pour voir le nom et la fonction d'une touche sur la barre d'outils ou d'une caractéristique dans
une palette, placer le curseur dessus. Une courte description apparaît après un bref délai.

2.7 Pour quitter le logiciel Ambu CPR Software
Le logiciel Ambu CPR Software se ferme de la même manière que la plupart des logiciels
Windows. Pour quitter le logiciel Ambu CPR Software, procéder de l'une des manières suivantes :
• Choisir Quitter dans le menu Fichier
• Cliquer sur le bouton Fermer de la fenêtre principale
• Appuyer sur <Alt> + <F4>
2.8 Désinstallation du logiciel Ambu CPR Software
Pour retirer le logiciel Ambu CPR Software de votre ordinateur :
1. Cliquer sur la touche de menu Démarrer pour ouvrir le menu Démarrer.
2. Placer le curseur sur Logiciels, puis sur Ambu CPR Software, puis cliquer sur Désinstaller
Ambu CPR Software.

1. Cliquer sur la touche de menu Démarrer pour ouvrir le menu Démarrer.
2. Placer le curseur sur Paramètres, puis cliquer sur Panneau de configuration. Le Panneau de
configuration s'ouvre.
3. Cliquer deux fois sur l'icône Ajout/suppression de logiciels. La boîte de dialogue des Propriétés d'ajout/suppression de logiciels s'ouvre.
4. Si nécessaire, cliquer sur l'onglet Installation/désinstallation pour le faire passer au premier
plan.
5. Parcourir la liste pour trouver Ambu CPR Software
6. Mettre Ambu CPR Software en surbrillance
7. Cliquer sur la touche Ajout/suppression.
Le logiciel de désinstallation se met en route.
3. Fonction multi-utilisateurs
Ces dernières années, plusieurs centres de formation nous ont demandé d'avoir la possibilité
de raccorder plusieurs mannequins à un même ordinateur. Un seul formateur peut ainsi surveiller, enregistrer et contrôler les performances de plusieurs groupes d'entraînement.
Afin de réaliser et de tester la solution la plus simple et la plus efficace, nous avons travaillé
en étroite collaboration avec M. Schuhwerk et son centre de formation de St. Gall (Suisse). En
conséquence, il est désormais possible d'exécuter le logiciel avec un nombre de mannequins
allant de 1 à 18 par PC.
3.1 Installation de votre système
Configuration requise (PC)
La configuration requise pour une fonction multi-utilisateurs est identique à celle nécessaire à
l'utilisateur d'un seul mannequin, mis à part le nombre de ports COM ou USB requis :

La plupart des PC classiques possèdent 2 ports COM, de sorte que vous pouvez connecter 2
mannequins sans avoir à modifier la configuration de votre matériel, à moins que votre souris
ne soit reliée à l'un d'entre eux.
Pour créer des ports COM supplémentaires, il convient d'acheter une carte d'extension série comprenant un pilote Windows. A cet égard, la conception du logiciel est indépendante de la carte d'extension, ce qui autorise différentes solutions, par exemple des cartes ISA, des cartes PCI et des

3.2 Montage et raccordement
Procéder avec chaque mannequin comme suit :
1. Raccorder le câble d'interface CAN avec la fiche DIN à 6 contacts au connecteur situé sur
le côté de l'appareil de monitorage (Ambu Man).
2. Raccorder la fiche à 9 contacts située sur l'interface au port série RS 232 C (Port COM) de
l'ordinateur. Si votre ordinateur possède un connecteur de port série à 25 contacts, procurez-vous un adaptateur auprès de votre magasin d'informatique local.
Vous pouvez placer une rallonge RS 232 de 10 m maximum entre le PC et le câble CAN d'interface, si nécessaire.
3.2.1 Ajout de 8 Ports COM à votre PC
Le Moxa C168H/PCI et le Moxa Opt 8 D vous fournissent une carte série à 8 ports pour PCI,
les pilotes Windows nécessaires, et une pieuvre de raccordement RS-232 à 8 ports. Vous
augmentez ainsi la quantité de ports COM jusqu'à 10 (2 ports COM locaux + 8 supplémentaires). C'est-à-dire que vous pouvez raccorder jusqu'à 10 mannequins.
L'installation de cette carte consiste à installer le matériel et le
logiciel.
Pour installer le matériel nécessite, vous devez ouvrir le boîtier
du PC et enficher la carte dans un emplacement PCI libre. En
outre, vous devez connecter la pieuvre de raccordement. Pendant l'installation du logiciel, vous pourrez avoir à attribuer les
numéros de ports COM en fonction du matériel et du logiciel
que vous utilisez.

3.2.2 Ajout de 2/4 Ports COM à votre portable
La carte série à port quadruple Argosy PCMCIA RS232 (Portable) vous fournit une carte
PCMCIA avec un ou plusieurs ports supplémentaires pour applications notebooks et les pilotes Windows nécessaires. Vous augmentez ainsi la quantité de ports COM jusqu'à 3/5 (1 port
COM local + 2/4 supplémentaires). C'est-à-dire que vous pouvez raccorder jusqu'à 3/5 mannequins à votre portable. La plupart des notebooks possèdent deux emplacements PCMCIA,
ce qui signifie que vous pouvez doubler la quantité de ports COM supplémentaires en achetant deux kits.

3.3 Planificateur de cours
Lorsque vous raccordez de nombreux mannequins Ambu à l'ordinateur, nous vous conseillons
d'utiliser le planificateur de cours pour organiser les séances d'entraînement.
Lorsque vous organisez un cours, vous devez d'abord entrer votre nom en tant qu'instructeur
du cours. Sélectionner ensuite le scénario par défaut pour la séance de ce groupe. Désormais, pour chaque séance d'entraînement, entrer le nom des participants dans la rangée vide
suivante et sélectionner le mannequin avec lequel la séance doit être effectuée. Le logiciel
remplira automatiquement les heures de départ initial et de fin de séance, et préparera une
nouvelle rangée vide pour la séance d'entraînement suivante.
Si au moins une des séances d'entraînement doit être effectuée avec d'autres paramètres que
ceux du scénario par défaut, appuyer sur la touche Détails dans la rangée correspondante et
modifier les paramètres selon vos souhaits.
Lorsque la totalité du cours a été programmée, appuyer sur la touche Lancer le cours pour
poursuivre. Si vous le souhaitez, vous pouvez appuyer sur Imprimer pour avoir une vue
d'ensemble de la séance imprimée sur votre imprimante.
3.4 Lancement du cours
Dans la fenêtre Lancer le cours, le logiciel est prêt à prendre en charge la séance d'entraînement.
Afficher les participants de chaque séance puis, lorsqu'ils sont prêts, appuyer sur la touche
Lecture dans la rangée correspondante pour démarrer la séance d'entraînement. Une vue
graphique apparaîtra derrière la fenêtre Lancer le cours, et enregistrera la séance d'entraînement dans le fond dans la vue graphique.
Lorsqu'une séance d'entraînement prend fin, une marque de contrôle apparaît dans la rangée
correspondante de la fenêtre de lancement du cours, et vous pouvez vous préparer pour la
séance d'entraînement suivante.
Pendant l'exécution d'un cours, vous pouvez effectuer des changements de dernière minute
dans l'ordre des séances ou dans la configuration de chaque séance par l'intermédiaire des
touches en haut, en bas et Détails.
En utilisant les icônes de la barre d'outils, vous pouvez passer de la vue graphique à l'exécution du cours et inversement et surveiller chaque séance particulière en détail ou le déroulement global du cours. Vous pouvez également utiliser les raccourcis clavier pour accélérer
cette navigation. Voir l'aide en ligne pour plus d'informations.
En plus de ces possibilités, le logiciel propose une fenêtre de surveillance qui offre une vue
d'ensemble des graphiques de nombreuses séances de stagiaires en même temps.

3.5 Fenêtre de surveillance
Cette fenêtre vous permet de surveiller les différentes séances que vous exécutez.
Les séances actives sont affichées sur un fond blanc, tandis que les séances terminées ont
un fond gris.
En cliquant deux fois sur le bouton gauche de la souris ou en cliquant une fois sur le bouton
droit de la souris, sur une des vues, vous ouvrez la fenêtre graphique correspondante.
3.6 Dialogues de la base de données
Les dialogues de la base de données du logiciel sont conçus avec une interface standard. Ils
ont le même aspect et utilisent les mêmes boutons de navigation et d'édition.

Dans la partie supérieure de la boîte de dialogue se trouve la liste déroulante Recherche Rapide. Utiliser cette liste pour trouver rapidement un algorithme donné en cliquant dessus. Faire
défiler la liste jusqu'à atteindre l'algorithme à contrôler ou éditer. Ce principe s'applique à toutes les boîtes de dialogue de la base de données. Les instructions ci-après s'appliquent à toutes les boîtes de dialogue personnes, scénarios et cours.
Pour comprendre comment le système de base de données fonctionne, imaginez que tous les
algorithmes sont alignés les uns à la suite des autres dans une liste alphabétique, l'un d'entre
eux étant l'enregistrement courant affiché à l'écran, repéré par la flèche :
Lorsque vous utilisez les quatre boutons de navigation à côté de la liste de Recherche Rapide,
vous pouvez aller à l'enregistrement précédent, l'enregistrement suivant, le premier enregistrement ou le dernier enregistrement. Cet enregistrement devient alors l'enregistrement courant.
Lorsque vous modifiez des champs de l'algorithme, vous éditez uniquement l'enregistrement
courant. Si vous renommez l'algorithme, sa position dans la liste change (ceci n'apparaît pas
à l'écran car l'algorithme est toujours en cours) :
Il est déconseillé de modifier les algorithmes prédéfinis. Appuyer sur Rejeter modifications
pour abandonner les modifications, l'enregistrement reprend sa position d'origine dans sa forme d'origine.

Si vous appuyez sur Nouvel algorithme, un nouvel algorithme est créé à l'extrême droite de
la liste. Il devient l'algorithme actif :
Renseigner l'enregistrement comme souhaité. Lorsque vous appuyez sur Sauveg. modifications, l'algorithme se place dans la position alphabétique correcte dans la liste (il reste affiché
à l'écran) :
Si vous voulez créer une copie d'un algorithme, vous devez créer un nouvel algorithme et
saisir manuellement l'ensemble des champs.
Il n'est pas possible d'avoir deux algorithmes différents avec le même nom. Par conséquent,
vous devez veiller à changer le nom. Par exemple, vous pouvez saisir une nouvelle personne
nommée “John Austin Smith” et découvrir qu'il existe déjà dans la base de données une autre
personne portant le même nom lorsque vous appuyez sur Sauveg. modifications. Pour résoudre le problème, abrégez le nom en “John A. Smith” ou utilisez simplement “John Smith”
pour distinguer les deux personnes.
Il est à noter que les différentes bases de données sont interconnectées. Par exemple, les
personnes qui apparaissent en tant que participants dans des séances sont liées à la base de
données des personnes. Si vous modifiez le nom d'une personne dans la boîte de dialogue
Base de données | Personnes, le système met à jour le nom automatiquement dans toutes les
séances auxquelles cette personne a participé. De même, si vous supprimez une personne de
la base de données, le logiciel vous avertit que ceci va également supprimer toutes les séances et tous les cours auxquels cette personne a participé. Ceci permet de maintenir la
cohérence de la base de données.

El software de RCP es la herramienta ideal para guiar y registrar su entrenamiento con

La anterior versión de DOS se ha comercializado durante 9 años, y sus características han
sido bien aceptadas en todo el mundo. En consecuencia, al desarrollar la presente versión
para Windows hemos intentado mantener sus características y la idea de un entorno gráfico
simple y estructurado. También hemos incluido nuevas características, p.ej., una función de

2.1 Montaje y conexión
1. Conecte el cable de interfaz de CAD con el enchufe DIN de 6 conectores al enchufe que

2.2 Instalación del software de RCP Ambu
El software de RCP Ambu viene en un CD-ROM y se instala como la mayoría de programas
para Windows. El programa de instalación le permite crear unos disquetes de instalación para
poder instalar el programa desde disquetes.
Para instalar el software de RCP Ambu desde el CD-ROM, siga los siguientes pasos:
1. Encienda su ordenador y ponga en marcha Windows.
2. Introduzca el CD-ROM de software de RCP Ambu en su unidad de CD-ROM
Windows deberá detectar el CD-ROM e iniciar la instalación del software automáticamente.
Si la función de detección automática está desactivada, inicie la instalación haciendo clic
en Inicio, seleccione Ejecutar..., y escriba D:\setup.exe (donde D es la letra de unidad de su
CD-ROM). Entonces haga clic en Aceptar o pulse RETORNO.
3. Siga las instrucciones que aparecen en la pantalla.
Durante la instalación, puede seleccionar la versión del programa en el idioma que desee utilizar. Es posible seleccionar e instalar más de un idioma.

Una Práctica está formado por un Algoritmo, su Duración, y el Modo de Entrenamiento
que desea utilizar en una sesión.
Los menús desplegables le permiten seleccionar una serie de prácticas predefinidas. Es posible modificar la práctica seleccionada con los menús desplegables de Algoritmo, Duración y
Modo de Entrenamiento.

Al hacer clic en los botones de Detalles, puede crear o borrar una práctica o algoritmo
existentes.
El software calibra automáticamente el puerto COM al que está conectado el cable de interfaz
CAD. Si se detectan varios cables de interfaz CAD, el menú desplegable Maniquí le permite
seleccionar el que desee utilizar.
Si es preciso, puede iniciar una nueva calibración a través del botón Calibrar...
Participantes
El número de participantes varía según el Modo de entrenamiento seleccionado.
El software le permite personalizar y organizar la sesión de entrenamiento.
A través de la base de datos a la que puede acceder con los botones de Detalles puede
seleccionar a los participantes del entrenamiento de Ventilación y/o Compresión.
Pulse Continuar para ir a la Ventana Principal.
2.5 Ventana principal del software de RCP Ambu
Aparece la Ventana Principal. Ésta es su lugar de trabajo, y contiene las herramientas que
empleará para calibrar, iniciar, mostrar y controlar las sesiones de entrenamiento. Cuando inicie por primera vez el software de RCP, su lugar de trabajo mostrará la ventana de gráficos
descrita en la sección 2.5.1.

2.5.2 Vista de informes
La vista de informes permite que el entrenador tenga una visión global de la capacidad de los
estudiantes para efectuar la RCP.

(B) Los valores mostrados en esta columna representan la media o el porcentaje alcanzado

Los números en los que se basa el informe pueden consultarse pulsando los botones de
detalle (C).

2.5.3 Vista de revisión
Cuando la sesión se ha preparado, visualizado y se ha finalizado el informe, el último paso del
proceso es la vista de revisión.
En la vista de revisión, es posible cambiar los nombres de los participantes en la misma, indicar si se utilizó el metrónomo o no, decidir si la sesión está aprobada o no y marcar quién ha
aprobado la sesión. Finalmente, es posible escribir comentarios sobre la sesión.
Cuando haya completado todo esto, debe pulsar “Cerrar” para indicar el fin de la sesión.
El programa le preguntará si desea guardar la sesión en la base de datos.
2.6 Ayuda
Tecla <F1>
Puede obtener ayuda sobre una característica específica situando el cursor sobre la característica y pulsando la tecla <F1>.
Infotips y Barra de estado
Para ver el nombre y la función de un botón de la barra de herramientas, o una característica
de una paleta, sitúe el cursor sobre ésta. Enseguida aparecerá una breve descripción.

2.7 Salir del software de RCP Ambu
El software de RCP Ambu se cierra de igual forma que la mayoría de programas de Windows.
Para salir del software de RCP Ambu, puede hacerlo de las siguientes formas:
• Seleccione Salir del menú Archivo
• Haga clic en el botón Cerrar de la ventana principal
• Pulse <Alt> + <F4>
2.8 Desinstalar el software de RCP Ambu
Para eliminar el software de RCP Ambu de su ordenador:
1. Haga clic en el botón del menú de Inicio para abrir el menú inicio.
2. Seleccione Programas, luego Ambu CPR Software y haga clic en Uninstall Ambu CPR Software
O bien,
1. Haga clic en el botón del menú de Inicio para abrir el menú de inicio.
2. Seleccione Configuración, y luego haga clic en Panel de Control, para abrir el Panel de
Control.
3. Haga doble clic en el icono Agregar o quitar programas, para abrir el diálogo de Propiedades de Agregar o quitar programas.
4. Haga clic en la pestaña de Instalar/Desinstalar para mostrarla en pantalla, en caso de que
no sea visible.
5. Desplácese por la lista hasta encontrar Ambu CPR Software
6. Resalte Ambu CPR Software
7. Haga clic en el botón Agregar o quitar...
Entonces se inicia el programa de desinstalación.
3. Función multiusuario
En los últimos años, varios centros de enseñanza han solicitado la posibilidad de conectar
más de un maniquí a un ordenador. De esa forma, es posible que un entrenador controle,
registre y verifique el rendimiento de varios grupos de entrenamiento.
Para hallar y probar la solución más eficaz, hemos trabajado estrechamente con el Sr. Schuhwerk y su centro de enseñanza de Saint Gall, en Suiza. Como resultado, ahora es posible
ejecutar el programa con uno sólo o con hasta 18 maniquíes en un sólo ordenador.
3.1 Instalación de su sistema
Requisitos del sistema (PC)
Los requisitos del sistema para la función multiusuario son iguales a los aplicables a un solo
maniquí salvo por la cantidad de puertos COM o puertos USB que se necesitan:

La mayoría de ordenadores personales tienen dos puertos COM, de forma que pueden acoplarse dos maniquíes sin modificar su instalación de hardware, salvo en el caso de tener el
ratón conectado a uno de ellos.
Para más crear puertos COM, debe adquirir una tarjeta de expansión que incluya los drivers
para Windows. En este caso, el diseño del programa es independiente de la tarjeta de expansión, permitiendo diferentes soluciones, por ejemplo, tarjetas ISA, tarjetas PCI y PCMCIA.
Puede solicitar más información en su tienda de informática.
De las soluciones posibles para la tarjeta de expansión, hemos seleccionado dos posibilidades que se describirán en los siguientes capítulos.

3.2 Montaje y conexión
Proceda con cada maniquí de la siguiente manera:
1. Conecte el cable de interfaz de CAD con el enchufe DIN de 6 conectores al enchufe que
está en el lateral del instrumento de control (Ambu Man).
2. Conecte el enchufe de 9 conectores de la interfaz al puerto de serie RS 232 C (puerto
COM) del ordenador
Si su ordenador tiene un puerto de serie de 25 conectores, compre un enchufe convertidor
en su tienda de artículos de informática.
Si es preciso, puede colocar un cable de extensión RS 232, de 10 m como máximo, entre el
ordenador y el cable de interfaz CAD.
3.2.1 Añadir 8 puertos COM a su ordenador
El Moxa C168H/PCI y el Moxa Opt 8 D le proporcionan una tarjeta PCI de 8 puertos COM, los
drivers para Windows necesarios y un cable RS-232 ‘pulpo’ para 8 puertos. Así podrá incrementar la cantidad de puertos COM hasta un total de 10 (8 puertos COM adicionales + 2
locales), o lo que es lo mismo, podrá conectar hasta 10 maniquíes.
La instalación de esta tarjeta consta de la instalación del dispositivo de hardware y de su software.
Para la instalación del dispositivo deberá abrir la caja de su
ordenador y pinchar la tarjeta en una ranura de expansión tipo
PCI libre. Además, deberá conectar el cable ‘pulpo’.
Durante la instalación del software quizá tenga que asignar los
números de los puertos COM en función del hardware y software que utilice.
Para más información, siga las instrucciones del dispositivo.
Si no esta familiarizado con la instalación antes mencionada, le recomendamos que adquiera un sistema estándar en la compañía donde compró su ordenador, o que acuda a un servicio técnico.
3.2.2 Añadir entre 2 y 4 puertos COM a su ordenador portátil
La tarjeta PCMCIA RS232 Quad Port Serial Card de Argosy (portátiles) es una tarjeta PCMCIA
con puertos COM extra para aplicaciones para portátil y los drivers para Windows necesarios.
Así podrá aumentar el número de puertos COM hasta un total de entre 3 y 5 (entre 2 y 4 puertos COM más + 1 puerto COM local). Es decir, podrá conectar de 3 a 5 maniquíes más a su
ordenador portátil. La mayoría de portátiles tienen dos ranuras PCMCIA, de forma que puede
doblar la cantidad de maniquíes adicionales adquiriendo dos kits.

La instalación de esta tarjeta consta de la instalación del dispositivo de hardware y de su software

3.3 Planificador de cursos
Cuando conecte los maniquíes Ambu al ordenador, le recomendamos que utilice el Planificador de cursos para planificar las sesiones de entrenamiento.
Cuando planifique un curso, primero debe introducir su nombre como instructor del curso.
Luego, seleccione los nombres de los participantes en la siguiente fila vacía, y seleccione el
maniquí con el que va a efectuar la sesión. El programa introducirá automáticamente los tiempos preliminares de inicio y final de sesión, y preparará una fila nueva vacía para la siguiente
sesión de entrenamiento.
Si una o más de las sesiones de entrenamiento deben realizarse con parámetros diferentes
que las de la práctica por defecto, pulse el botón Detalles de la fila correspondiente, y cambie los parámetros según desee.
Cuando haya planificado todo el curso, pulse el botón Dar el curso para proceder. Si lo
desea puede pulsar Imprimir para obtener una versión impresa de la sesión.

3.4 Dar el Curso
Desde la ventana de Ejecutar curso, el programa está listo para controlar la sesión de entrenamiento.
Avise a los participantes en cada sesión, y cuando éstos estén listos, pulse el botón Ejecutar
de la fila correspondiente para iniciar la sesión de entrenamiento. Detrás de la ventana de Ejecutar curso aparecerá una vista de gráficos, que registrará la sesión de entrenamiento en
segundo plano en la ventana de gráficos.
Una vez terminada una sesión de entrenamiento, aparecerá una marca de verificación en la
fila correspondiente de la ventana de Ejecutar curso, y la siguiente sesión de entrenamiento
ya estará lista.
Durante la ejecución de un curso, puede hacer cambios de última hora en el orden de las
sesiones, o en los ajustes de cada sesión mediante los botones Subir fila, Bajar fila y Detalles.
Mediante los iconos de la barra de herramientas, puede desplazarse entre la vista de gráficos
o la ventana de Ejecutar curso y examinar cada sesión individual en detalle, o bien el progreso
global del curso. También puede utilizar atajos para acelerar la navegación. Vea la ayuda en
línea para mayor información.
Además de estas funciones, el programa cuenta con una ventana de vigilancia que le muestra
un resumen de los gráficos de varias sesiones de entrenamiento simultáneamente.

3.5 Ventana de vigilancia
Esta ventana le permite inspeccionar las diferentes sesiones que están ejecutándose.
Las sesiones activas se muestran con fondo blanco, mientras que las completadas tienen
fondo gris.
Al hacer doble clic con el botón izquierdo del ratón, o haciendo clic una sola vez con el botón
derecho sobre una de las vistas, puede abrir la ventana de gráficos correspondiente.
3.6 Cuadros de diálogo de la base de datos
Los cuadros de diálogo de la base de datos del programa se han diseñado con una interfaz
estándar. Todos son similares y cuentan con los mismos botones de navegación y edición; un
ejemplo es el siguiente cuadro de diálogo de Base de datos | Algoritmos:

En la parte superior del cuadro de diálogo, encontrará la lista desplegable de Búsqueda rápida. Use esta lista haciendo clic en ella para ubicar cualquier algoritmo concreto, desplegándola hasta encontrar el que necesite consultar o editándola. Este principio es aplicable a
todos los cuadros de diálogo de la base de datos. Las siguientes instrucciones son de aplicación a todos los cuadros de diálogo referentes a personas, prácticas y cursos.
Para entender cómo funciona el sistema de la base de datos, imagínese que todos los algoritmos están alineados uno junto al otro en una lista ordenada alfabéticamente, en la que uno
de estos algoritmos es el registro que aparece en ese momento en pantalla (ver flecha):
Al usar los cuatro botones de navegación que hay junto a la lista de Búsqueda rápida, puede
desplazarse por todos los registros de la lista hacia delante y hacia atrás. El registro que seleccione será el registro actual.
Al modificar los campos del algoritmo, tan sólo editará el registro actual. Si cambia el nombre
del algoritmo, cambiará la posición en la lista, cambio que no se observa en pantalla puesto
que el algoritmo es aún el actual:
No recomendamos modificar los algoritmos predefinidos, por lo que aconsejamos pulsar Descartar cambios para rechazarlos. El registro volverá a su posición original con la forma original.
Si pulsa Nuevo algoritmo, se creará un nuevo algoritmo en el extremo derecho de la lista que
pasará a ser el algoritmo activo:
Rellene el registro como desee y pulse Guardar cambios. El algoritmo pasará a la posición
correcta de la lista según orden alfabético y permanecerá en pantalla:

Si desea hacer una copia del algoritmo debe crear un algoritmo nuevo e introducir manualmente los datos de todos los campos.
No puede haber dos algoritmos distintos con el mismo nombre, por lo que deberá procurar
cambiarlo. Si el nombre de una nueva persona (p.ej, "José Antonio García") coincide con el de
un algoritmo ya existente en la base de datos, sólo podrá introducir el nuevo modificándolo
(p.ej, "José A. García", o simplemente "José García" ) antes de pulsar Guardar cambios para
distinguirlos.
Tenga en cuenta que las distintas bases de datos están interconectadas. Por ejemplo, las personas que aparecen como participantes en las sesiones están vinculadas a la base de datos
de las personas. Si modifica el nombre de una persona en el cuadro de diálogo de Base de
datos | Personas, el sistema actualizará automáticamente el nombre en cualquiera de las
sesiones en las que la persona haya participado. A su vez, si elimina a la persona de la base
de datos, el programa le avisará de que con ello eliminará todas las sesiones y cursos en los
que haya participado esa persona. De esta manera se vela por la consistencia de la base de
datos.

1. Introduzione
Il software CPR è lo strumento ideale per monitorare e registrare il vostro addestramento con i
manichini Ambu. Vi fornisce tutti i parametri essenziali dell’addestramento in modo che possiate controllare e migliorare le sessioni di addestramento. La possibilità di salvare e stampare
tutte le informazioni vi permette di classificare l’esecuzione dell’allievo e di poter documentare
la vostra decisione in seguito.
La precedente versione DOS è rimasta sul mercato per 9 anni e le sue caratteristiche sono
state accettate in tutto il mondo. Quando abbiamo sviluppato la versione Windows abbiamo
quindi cercato di mantenere le sue caratteristiche e l’idea di un’esposizione semplice e struturata. Inoltre abbiamo aggiunto qualche nuova caratteristica, p.es.: la funzione database
dell’allievo, i consigli autodefiniti e la possibilità di registrare l’ora di un evento.
Inoltre il programma è stato sviluppato per comunicare con 18 manichini allo stesso tempo.
Con questo mezzo un addestratore può ad esempio esaminare e registrare l’esecuzione di
due gruppi con un PC/PC portatile. Dopo questa sessione di addestramento, o in un intervallo, l’addestratore può quindi valutare l’esecuzione gruppo per gruppo.
Infine l’interfaccia ed i cavi sono stati ricostrutiti per adattarsi alle necessità dell’hardware e del
software in uso oggi. L’interfaccia è stata inclusa nella spina di connessione dell’allegato cavo
interfaccia ADC (Convertitore Analogico Digitale).

2.1 Montaggio e collegamento
1. Collegare il cavo interfaccia ADC con la spina DIN a 6-pin al connettore posto di lato allo
strumento di monitoraggio (Ambu Man).
2. Collegare la spina a 9-pin all’interfaccia della porta seriale RS 232 C (COM 1 o COM 2) del
computer.
Se il vostro computer ha un connettore della porta seriale a 25-pin acquistate una spina
convertitrice presso il vostro negozio di computer.
Se necessario, potete mettere un’estensione RS 232 di 10 m al massimo tra il PC e il cavo
interfaccia ADC. Con l'interfaccia USB, installare dapprima il software.
2.2 Installazione del Software CPR Ambu
Il Software CPR Ambu viene consegnato su CD-ROM e si installa come la maggior parte della
applicazioni Windows.
É possibile creare una versione floppy disk durante la routine di Installazione, che può essere
usata per installare il programma da dischetti.
Per installate il Software CPR Ambu dal CD-ROM, seguire le istruzioni seguenti:
1. Se non è in funzione Windows, avviarlo adesso.
2. Inserire il CD del Software CPR Ambu nel drive del CD-ROM.
Windows dovrebbe riconoscere il CD e avviare automaticamente l’installazione del software.
Se la caratteristica di riconoscimento automatico è inattiva, avviare l’installazione del software cliccando su Avvio, selezionare Esegui..., e digitare D:\setup.exe (laddove D è la lettera
di riconoscimento del drive del CD ROM). Quindi cliccare su OK o premere ENTER.
3. Seguire le istruzioni che compaiono sullo schermo.
Durante l´installazione avete la possibilità di scegliere la lingua nella quale volete installare il
programma. È possibile selezionare e quindi installare la versione in più lingue.
Con l'interfaccia USB:
dopo aver installato il software collegare l'interfaccia USB e seguire le istruzioni sullo schermo.
Assicurarsi che i driver utilizzati per l'interfaccia USB siano quelli contenuti nel CD.

2.4 Finestra della Nuova Sessione
Qaundo si avvia il Software CPR Ambu, viene avviata una routine di calibrazione per stabilire
dove e quanti cavi interfaccia ADC Ambu (vedi capitolo 3) sono collegati al vostro computer.
Quindi appare la casella di dialogo della Nuova sessione.
Nuova sessione
Uno Scenario è costituito da un Algoritmo, la Durata, e da quale Modo Addestramento
volete usare in una sessione.
Il menu a tendina vi da la possibilità di scegliere uno scenario predefinito. È possibile modificare lo scenario scelto con i menu a tendina dell’Algoritmo, della Durata e del Modo Addestramento.

Cliccando sui pulsanti Dettagli, potete creare o cancellare uno scenario o un algoritmo esistenti.
Il software calibra automaticamente la porta Com dove il cavo interfaccia ADC è attaccato. Se
vengono individuati numerosi cavi interfaccia ADC, il menu a tendina del Manichino vi da la
possibilità di selezionare quello che volete usare.
Se necessario, è possibile avviare una nuova calibrazione attraverso il pulsante Calibrare.
Partecipanti
Il numero dei partecipanti varia a seconda del Modo Addestramento scelto.
Il software vi fornisce la possibilità di personalizzare e organizzare la sessione di addestramento.
Da un database a cui puoi accedere attraverso i pulsanti Dettagli è possibile scegliere i partecipanti all’addestramento di Ventilazione e/o Compressione.
Premere Continua per entrare nella Finestra Principale
2.5 Finestra Principale del Software CPR Ambu
La finestra principale appare. Questa finestra è il vostro spazio di lavoro, e contiene gli strumenti che userete per calibrare, avviare, mostrare e ispezionare le sessioni di addestramento.
Quando aprite per la prima volta il software CPR, il vostro spazio di lavoro conterrà la finestra
del grafico descritto nel paragrafo 2.5.1.

2.5.3 Il panorama di revisione
Quando la sessione è stata preparata, visualizzata e l’interrogazione è finita, il passaggio finale
del processo della sessione è il Panorama revisione.
Nel panorama revisione è possibile cambiare i nomi dei partecipanti alla sessione, indicare se
il metronomo era stato usato o no, decidere se la sessione è stata approvata o no, e segnare
chi ha approvato la sessione. In fine è possibile scrivere note riguardanti la sessione.
Quando tutto ciò è stato completato, si deve premere Chiudi per indicare che la sessione è
finita. Il software a questo momento vi chiederà se volete salvare la sessione nel database.
2.6 Come ottenere aiuto
Pulsante <F1>
Potete ottenere aiuto circa la specifica caratteristica ponendo il cursore sulla caratteristica e
premendo <F1>.
Suggerimenti e Barra di Stato
Per vedere il nome e la funzione di un pulsante sulla barra degli strumenti, o una caratteristica

2.7 Uscire dal Software CPR Ambu
Il Software CPR Ambu si chiude nello stesso modo della maggior parte dei programmi Windows. Per uscire dal Software CPR Ambu, eseguite una delle seguenti operazioni:
• Scegliere Esci dal menu File
• Cliccare sul pulsante Chiudi della finestra principale
• Premere <Alt> + <F4>
2.8 Disinstallare il Software CPR Ambu
Per rimuovere il Software CPR Ambu dal vostro computer:
1. Cliccare sul pulsante del menu Avvio per aprire il menu Avvio.
2. Puntare su Programmi, quindi su Software CPR Ambu, e cliccare su Disinstalla Software
CPR Ambu.
OPPURE
1. Cliccare sul pulsante menu Avvio per aprire il menu Avvio.
2. Puntare su Risorse del Computer , quindi cliccare su Pannello di Controllo. Il Pannello di
Controllo si apre.
3. Cliccare due volte sull‘icona Aggiungi/Rimuovi Programmi. La casella di dialogo delle Proprietà di Aggiungi/Rimuovi Programmi si apre.
4. Se necessario, cliccare sull’ etichetta Installa/Disinstalla per portarla in primo piano.
5. Scorrere nella casella della lista per trovare il Software CPR Ambu
6. Evidenziare il Software CPR Ambu
7. Cliccare sul pulsante Aggiungi/Rimuovi.
Il programma di disinstallazione si avvia.
3. Funzione multiutente
Negli ultimi anni, diversi centri di addestramento hanno richiesto la possibilità di collegare più
di un manichino ad un computer. Con questo strumento un addestratore ha la possibilità di
verificare, registrare, e controllare l’esecuzione di diversi gruppi di addestramento.
Per realizzare e verificare la sioluzione più semplice ed efficace, abbiamo lavorato con Mr.
Schuhwerk e il suo centro di addestramento di San Gallo (Svizzera). Come conseguenza
adesso è possibile far funzionare il software da un manichino fino ad un massimo di 18 con un
solo e-PC.
3.1 Taratura del sistema
Requisiti di sistema (PC)
I requisiti di sistema per la Funzione multiutente sono uguali a quelli per l'uso con un manichino, a parte la quantità richiesta di porte COM e porte USB:

I PC standard hanno 2 porte Com, quindi potete attaccare 2 manichini senza modificare il settaggio dell’hardware, a meno che il mouse non sia collegato ad uno di essi.
Per creare porte Com aggiuntive si deve acquistare una scheda di estensione seriale comprendente un driver Windows. A questo riguardo, lo studio del software è indipendente dalla
scheda di estensione, permettendo diverse soluzioni, p.es. schede ISA, schede PCI e
PCMCIA. Chiedete al vostro fornitore locale di hardware (PC) ulteriori informazioni.

3.2 Montaggio e collegamento
Procedere con ciascun manichino come segue:
1. Collegare il cavo di interfaccia ADCcon spina DIN a 6-pin al connettore sul fianco dello strumento di monitoraggio (Ambu Man).
2. Collegare la spina a 9-pin sull’interfaccia alla porta seriale RS 232 C (porta Com) del computer.
Se il vostro computer ha un connettore di porta seriale a 25-pin, acquistate una spina convertitrice presso il vostro rivenditore locale di computer.
Se necessario, potete sistemare un cavo di estensione RS 232 di 10 m. al massimo tra il PC e
il cavo interfaccia ADC.
3.2.1 Aggiungere 8 Porte Com al vostro PC
Moxa C168H/PCI e Moxa Opt 8 D vi forniscono una scheda seriale a 8 porte per PCI, i driver
Windows richiesti, e un cavo octopus RS-232 a 8 porte. Con questo mezzo aumenterete la
quantità di porte Com fino a 10 (8 addizionali + 2 porte Com locali). Cioè a dire, potete collegare fino a 10 manichini.
L’installazione di questa scheda prevede l’installazione di hardware e software.
L’installazione hardware richiede l’apertura del vostro PC e
l’inserimento della scheda nello slot di espansione PCI libero.
Inoltre dovrete collegare il cavo octopus.
Durante l’installazione del software dovrete assegnare il numero di porte Com dipendenti dall’hardware e dal software
che state usando.
Per ulteriori informazioni, consultate le istruzioni che accompagnano i prodotti.
Se non avete famigliarità con l’installazione indicata, vi raccomandiamo caldamente di acquistare una soluzione standard presso la società dove avete acquisto il vostro PC, o che vi facciate aiutare.
3.2.2 Aggiungere 2/4 Porte Com al vostro Portatile
L’Argosy PCMCIA RS232 Quad Port Serial Card (PC Portatile) vi fornisce una scheda PCMCIA
con una o più porte seriali extra per le Applicazioni del portatile e i drivers di Windows richiesti. Con questo mezzo aumentate le porte Com fino a 3/5 (2/4 aggiuntive + 1 porta Com locale). Cioè a dire che potete collegare fino a 3/5 manichini al vostro portatile. La maggior parte
dei portatili hanno due slot PCMCIA, ciò significa che potete raddoppiare la quantità di porte
Com addizionali acquistando due kit.

3.3 Il Programmatore del corso
Quando collegate molti manichini al computer. Vi consigliamo di usare il programmatore del
corso per programmare le sessioni di addestramento.
Quando programmate un corso, prima di tutto dovete inserire il vostro nome come istruttore
del corso. Quindi, selezionate quale scenario dovrebbe essere quello default per questa sessione di gruppo. Adesso, per ciascuna sessione di addestramento, inserite i nomi dei partecipanti nella riga libera successiva, e selezionate il manichino con il quale viene eseguita la sessione. Il software riempirà automaticamente gli orari di avvio e termine della sessione, e preparerà una nuova riga vuota per la successiva sessione di addestramento.
Se una o più sessioni di addestramento devono essere eseguite con altri parametri oltre quelli
dello scenario default, premere il pulsante Dettagli nella riga corrispondente e cambiare i
parametri come desiderato.
Quando tutto il corso è stato programmato, premere il pulsante Metti in funzione corso per
procedere. Se volete, potete premere Stampa per ottenere una visione d’insieme della sessione stampata sulla vostra stampante.

3.4 Metti in funzione corso
Nella finestra Far funzionare il Corso, il software è pronto a gestire la sessione di addestramento.
Avvertire i partecipanti di ciascuna sessione, e quando sono pronti, premere il pulsante Avvio
nella riga corrispondente per avviare la sessione di addestramento. Un panorama del grafico
apparirà dietro la finestra Far funzionare il Corso, e registrerà la sessione di addestramento nel
panorama del grafico non prioritario.
Quando una sessione di addestramento è completata, un segnale di controllo appare nella
riga corrispondente della finestra Far funzionare Corso, e potete prepararvi per la sessione di
addestramento successiva.
Durante l’esecuzione di un corso, potete effettuare cambiamenti all’ultimo momento nell’ordine delle sessioni o nella taratura di ciascuna sessione con i pulsanti Sposta riga su, Sposta
riga giù e Dettagli.
Usando le icone della barra degli strumetni, potete spostarvi avanti e indietro tra il panorama
del grafico o la finestra Far funzionare il Corso e monitorare ciascuna sessione individuale in
dettaglio, o il complessivo sviluppo del corso. Potete anche usare i comandi brevi della tastiera per velocizzare questa navigazione. Vedere l’aiuto in linea per ulteriori informazioni.
In aggiunta a queste possibilità, il software presente una finestra di ispezione che fornisce
subito una visione d’insieme dei grafici di molte sessioni di addestramento.

3.5 La Finestra di Ispezione
Questa finestra vi permette di ispezionare le diverse sessioniche state eseguendo.
Le sessioni attive sono mostrate su uno sfondo bianco, mentre le sessioni completate hanno
uno sfondo grigio.
Cliccando due volte il pulsante sinistro del mouse, o cliccando una sola volta sul pulsante
destro del mouse, su una finestra aprirete il grafico corrispondente.
3.6 Le finestre di dialogo del database
Le finestre di dialogo del database presenti nel programma sono state progettate con un’interfaccia standard. Condividono il medesimo aspetto ed hanno gli stessi pulsanti per la navigazione e l’editing.
Per esempio, la finestra di dialogo Database | Algoritmi:

Nella parte superiore della finestra di dialogo, troverete un elenco con finestra a discesa per la
Ricerca Rapida. Utilizzare questo elenco per localizzare rapidamente qualsiasi algoritmo cliccando su di esso, facendo scorrere l’elenco finchè non trovate quello che avete bisogno di
ispezionare o redigere. Questo principio si applica a tutte le finestra di dialogo del database.
Le seguenti istruzioni si applicheranno a tutte le finestre di dialogo delle persone, degli scenari
e dei corsi.
Per poter comprendere come funziona il database, immaginate che tutti gli algoritmi siano allineati uno vicino all’altro in un elenco in ordine alfabetico, dove uno di questi è il record corrente mostrato sullo schermo indicato da una freccia:
Quando usate i quattro pulsanti di navigazione vicini all’elenco per la Ricerca Rapida, potete
spostarvi al record recedente, al record successivo, al primo o all’ultimo record. Il record
selezionato diventa il record corrente.
Quando cambiate i campi di un algoritmo, potete redigere solo il record corrente. Se cambiate
il nome dell’algoritmocambierete la sua posizione nell’elenco (ciò non è visibile sullo schermo,
perchè l’algoritmo è ancora attivo):
Non consigliamo di cambiare algoritmi predefiniti, quindi premere Elimina cambiamenti per
abbandonare i cambiamenti e il record tornerà alla poszione originale nella forma originale.

Se premete Nuovo Algoritmo, verrà creato un nuovo algoritmo nella parte all’estrema destra
dell’elenco. Questo diventerà l’algoritmo attivo:
Compilate il record come preferite. E quando premete Salvare i cambiamenti l’algoritmo si
sposterà nella posizione alfabetica corretta dell’elenco (e rimarrà sullo schermo):
Se volete creare la copia di un algoritmo, dovete creare un nuovo algoritmo ed entrare nei
campi manualmente.
Non è possibile avere due diversi algoritmi con lo stesso nome. Quindi dovete assicurarvi che
il nome sia cambiato. Per esempio, potete inserire una nuova persona con il nome Gian Carlo
Bianchi, e quando premete Salvare i cambiamenti scoprite che nel database esiste già un’altra
persona con lo stesso nome. Quindi abbreviate il nome G. Carlo Bianchi oppure Carlo Bianchi
per differenziare le due persone.
Notate che i diversi database sono interconnessi: Per esempio, le persone che compaiono
come partecipanti alle sessioni sono collegate al database delle persone Se cambiate il nome
di una persona nella finestra di dialogo del Database | Persone, il sistema aggiornerà automaticamente il nome in tutte le sessioni a cui questa persona ha partecipato. Allo stesso
modo, se cancellate una persona dal database, il programma vi avvertirà che questa persona
verrà cancellata da tutte le sessioni e tutti i corsi a cui ha partecipato. Ciò manterrà coerenza
nel database.

1. Inleiding
De CPR software is het ideale hulpmiddel om uw training met Ambu manikins te begeleiden
en te registreren. Het programma voorziet u van alle essentiële training parameters, zodat u de
training sessies kunt beheersen en verbeteren. Met name de mogelijkheid om alle informatie
op te slaan en af te drukken, helpt u de prestatie van de leerling te beoordelen en later uw
beslissing te documenteren.
De vorige DOS versie was gedurende 9 jaar op de markt en de kenmerken van dit programma
zijn over de hele wereld goed geaccepteerd. Bij het ontwikkelen van de op Windows gebaseerde versie hebben wij daarom geprobeerd om die kenmerken en het idee van een eenvoudig
en gestructureerd visueel hulpmiddel te handhaven.
Hiernaast hebben wij enkele nieuwe kenmerken aangebracht, b.v. een leerling database
functie, zelfbepaalde aanbevelingen of de mogelijkheid om de tijd van een handeling te kunnen registreren.
Bovendien werd het programma ontwikkeld om tot een aantal van 18 Demopops tegelijk te
kunnen communiceren. Hierbij kan een instructeur bij voorbeeld de prestatie van twee teams
op één PC/laptop overzien en registreren. Na een dergelijke training sessie, of in een pauze,
kan hij dan de prestatie team voor team evalueren.
Ten slotte: de interface en kabels werden vervaardigd volgens de eisen van de hedendaagse
hard- and software. De interface werd in de stekker van de ingesloten ADC (Analog Digital
Converter) interface kabel ingebouwd. USB-versie (234 000 728) (234 000 727).

2.1 Montage en aansluiten
1. Sluit de ADC interface kabel met de 6-pins DIN-plug aan op de aansluiting aan de zijkant
van het monitoring instrument (Ambu Man).
2. Sluit de 9-pins plug aan op de interface naar de seriële poort RS 232 C (COM 1 of COM 2)
van de computer.
Indien uw computer een 25-pins seriële poort aansluiting heeft, schaf dan een verloopstekker aan bij uw plaatselijke computer winkel.
Indien nodig kunt u een RS 232 verlengkabel van max. 10 m tussen de PC en de ADC interface kabel plaatsen. Met USB-interface, eerst software installeren.
2.2 Installeren van de Ambu CPR Software
De Ambu CPR Software wordt geleverd op een CD-ROM en installeert zoals de meeste andere Windows toepassingen. Het is mogelijk om een floppy schijf versie binnen de Installatie
routine te creëren, deze schijf kan dan gebruikt worden om het programma vanaf een floppy
schijf te installeren.
Om het Ambu CPR Software vanaf de CD-ROM te installeren, doe het volgende:
1. Indien Windows niet actief is, dit programma nu opstarten.
2. Plaats de Ambu CPR Software CD in uw CD-ROM station.
Windows moet de CD detecteren en de installatie software automatisch starten. Als de
automatische detectie functie uitgeschakeld is, start dan de installatie software door te klikken op: Start, selecteer Uitvoeren…., en type D:\setup.exe (waarbij D de stationsletter van
uw CD-ROM station is). Klik dan OK of druk op ENTER.
3. Volg de instructies op het scherm.
Gedurende de installatie heeft u de mogelijkheid om de taal versie te kiezen die u wilt installeren. Het is mogelijk om te merken en hierbij meer dan één taal te installeren.
Met USB-interface:
Sluit de USB-interface na het installeren van de software aan en volg de instructies op het
scherm. Gebruik uitsluitend drivers voor de interface die afkomstig zijn van de cd.

2.4 Het Nieuwe Sessie Venster
Indien u de Ambu CPR Software start, start een kalibratie routine om te detecteren waar en
hoeveel Ambu ADC interface kabels (zie hoofdstuk 3) aangesloten zijn op uw computer.
Dan verschijnt de Nieuwe sessie dialoog box.
Nieuwe sessie
Een Scenario bestaat uit een Richtlijn, de Duur en welke Training mode u in een sessie wilt
gebruiken.
Het submenu geeft u de mogelijkheid om een vooraf vastgesteld scenario te kiezen. Het is
mogelijk om het gekozen scenario met de Richtlijn, Duur en Training mode submenu’s te
veranderen.

Door de Details knoppen te klikken, kunt u een bestaand scenario of richtlijn creëren of wissen.
De software kalibreert automatisch de Com-poort waar de ADC interface kabel is bevestigd.
Indien meerdere ADC interface kabels gedetecteerd worden, geeft het Demopop submenu u
de mogelijkheid om de kabel die u wenst te gebruiken te kiezen.
Indien nodig is het mogelijk om een nieuwe kalibratie te starten via de Kalibreer knop.
Deelnemers
Het aantal deelnemers varieert afhankelijk van de gekozen Training mode.
De software voorziet in de mogelijkheid om de training sessie een persoonlijk tintje te geven
en te organiseren.
Vanuit een database die toegankelijk is vanuit de Details knop, is het mogelijk om de deelnemers voor de Beademing en/of Compressie training te kiezen.
Druk op Doorgaan om het Hoofdvenster binnen te gaan.
2.5 Het Ambu CPR Software Hoofdvenster
Het hoofdvenster verschijnt. Dit venster is uw werkruimte en het bevat de instrumenten die u
zult gebruiken om training sessies te kalibreren, starten, tonen en overzien. Indien u de CPR
software eerst opent, zal uw werkruimte de grafiek die in 2.5.1. beschreven wordt, bevatten.

Door op de linker muisknop te klikken verschijnt er een tijdsbalk die naar een gebeurtenis
gesleept kan worden. De tijdsinterval wordt automatisch berekend en wordt weergegeven tussen de twee tijdsbalken. Door de rechter muisknop te klikken op een willekeurige plaats op de
grafiek kunt u de tijdsweergave verkleinen (uitzoomen).

Pauzeer de sessie en druk op verslag om het Verslag overzicht binnen te gaan.

2.5.2 Het verslag overzicht
Het verslag overzicht maakt het mogelijk voor de trainer om een algemeen inzicht te verkrijgen
in de vaardigheid van een leerling om CPR uit te voeren.

De aanwijzer (A) moet zich binnen de groene sectie bevinden. Dit geeft aan dat de verschillende parameters op de juiste wijze zijn uitgevoerd, volgens de van kracht zijnde aanbevelingen.
(B) De waarden die in deze kolom getoond worden, geven het gemiddelde of het percentage
aan dat gedurende de training sessie behaald is.
De nummers waarop het verslag gebaseerd is kunnen geïnspecteerd worden door de detail
knoppen in te drukken. (C).

Druk de Inspectie knop om verder te gaan naar de laatste stap van een sessie.

2.5.3 Het inspectie overzicht
Indien de sessie voorbereid is, zichtbaar gemaakt en het verslag is gedaan, dan is de laatste
stap van het sessie proces het Inspectie overzicht.
In het inspectie overzicht is het mogelijk om de namen van de deelnemers aan de sessie te
wijzigen, aan te geven of de metronoom wel of niet gebruikt werd, te beslissen of de sessie
wel of niet goedgekeurd wordt en aan te geven wie de sessie goedgekeurd heeft. Ten slotte is
het mogelijk om aantekeningen betreffende de sessie te maken.
Indien dit alles ingevuld is, dient u op ‘Sluiten’ te drukken (als een sessie gepauzeerd werd
heet de knop ‘afbreken’) om aan te geven dat de sessie voorbij is. De software zal nu vragen
of u de sessie in de database wilt opslaan.
2.6 Help raadplegen
<F1> Knop
U kunt hulp verkrijgen over een specifiek onderwerp door de cursor op dat onderwerp te plaatsen en op <F1> te drukken.
Tooltips en Status Balk
Om de naam en functie van een knop op de toolbar te zien, of een eigenschap in een palet,
moet u de cursor hierop plaatsen. Een korte beschrijving verschijnt na korte tijd.
Help Knoppen in Dialoog Knoppen
Indien u vragen heeft over een dialoog box, klik de Help knop hiervan.
Online Help
Kies Help Inhoud vanuit het Help menu om toegang te krijgen tot de inhoud, index, en sleutelwoorden zoekaktie van de online Help.

2.7 De Ambu CPR Software verlaten
De Ambu CPR Software sluit op dezelfde wijze als de meeste Windows programma’s.
Om de Ambu CPR Software te sluiten, doe één van de volgende handelingen:
• Kies Sluiten vanaf het menu Bestand
• Klik de Sluiten knop van het hoofdscherm
• Druk <Alt> + <F4>
2.8 De installatie van de Ambu CPR Software ongedaan maken
Om de Ambu CPR Software van uw computer te verwijderen:
1. Klik de Start menu knop om het Start menu te openen
2 Wijs Programma’s aan, dan naar Ambu CPR Software, en klik Uninstall Ambu CPR Software.

3. Meerdere gebruikers functie
Gedurende de laatste jaren hebben verscheidene training centra gevraagd om de mogelijkheid
om meer dan één demopop op één computer aan te sluiten. Hierbij is het mogelijk voor een
trainer om verscheidene training groepen te overzien, te registreren en de prestaties te controleren.
Om de eenvoudigste en meest effectieve oplossing te realiseren, hebben wij nauw samengewerkt met Mr. Schuhwerk en zijn training centrum in St. Gallen (Zwitserland). Als resultaat is
het nu mogelijk om de software met één zowel als tot 18 demopops op één PC uit te voeren.
3.1 Uw systeem setup
Systeemvereisten (PC)
De systeem vereisten voor een Meerdere gebruikers functie zijn gelijk aan die voor het gebruik
met één manikin, behalve voor het vereiste aantal Com poorten of USB-poorten:

De meeste standaard PC’s hebben 2 Com-poorten, dus u kunt 2 demopop aansluiten zonder
uw hardware setup te wijzigen, tenzij uw muis op een van hen aangesloten is.
Om aanvullende Com-poorten te creëren, moet er een seriële extensie met een Windows driver aangeschaft worden. In dit verband is de software design onafhankelijk van de extensie,
zodat verschillende oplossingen mogelijk zijn, b.v. ISA-kaarten, PCI-kaarten en PCMCIA.

De systeem Vereisten voor een Meerdere gebruikers functie zijn gelijk aan die voor het gebruik
met één demopop, behalve dat iedere aangesloten demopop een Ambu CPR Software Kit
benodigd.

3.2 Montage en aansluiten
Ga met iedere demopop als volgt verder:
1. Sluit de ADC interface kabel met de 6-pins DIN-plug aan op de connector aan de kant van
het monitoring instrument (Ambu Man).
2. Sluit de 9-pins plug aan op de interface naar seriële poort RS 232 C (Com-poort) van de
computer.
Indien uw computer een 25-pins seriële poort connector heeft, koop dan een verloopstekker
bij uw lokale computer winkel.
U kunt, indien nodig, een RS 232 verlengkabel van max. 10 m tussen de PC en de interface
ADC-kabel plaatsen.
3.2.1 Toevoegen van 8 Com Poorten aan uw PC
De Moxa C168H/PCI en Moxa Opt 8 D voorzien u van een 8 poorts seriële aansluiting for PCI,
de vereiste Windows drivers, en een 8 poorts RS-232 octopus kabel. Hierdoor verhoogt u het
aantal Com-poorten tot 10 (8 toegevoegde en + 2 lokale Com-poorten). Dat wil zeggen, u kunt
tot 10 demopops aansluiten.
De installatie van deze kaart bestaat uit hardware en een software installatie.
De hardware installatie vereist dat u de PC behuizing opent en
de kaart in een vrij PCI expansie slot aanbrengt. Verder moet u
de octopus kabel aansluiten.
Gedurende de software installatie is het mogelijk dat u de
Com-poort nummers moet toewijzen, afhankelijk van de harden software die u gebruikt.
Voor verdere informatie, raadpleeg de handleiding van uw PC leverancier.
Indien u niet bekend bent met bovengenoemde installatie, bevelen wij dringend aan dat
u een standaard oplossing aanschaft van de firma waar u uw PC gekocht heeft, of dat u
ondersteuning krijgt.
3.2.2 Toevoegen van 2/4 Com Poorten aan uw Laptop
De Argosy PCMCIA RS232 Quad Port Serial Card (Laptop) voorziet u van een PCMCIA kaart
met extra seriële poort(en) voor Notebook toepassingen en de vereiste Windows drivers.
Hierdoor verhoogt u het aantal Com-poorten tot 3/5 (2/4 toegevoegde + 1 lokale Com-port).
Dat wil zeggen, u kunt tot 3/5 demopops op uw laptop aansluiten. De meeste notebooks hebben twee PCMCIA-slots hetgeen betekent dat u het aantal toegevoegde Com ports kunt verdubbelen door twee kaarten te kopen.

De installatie van deze kaart bestaat uit een hardware en een
software installatie. De hardware installatie vereist dat u de
Seriële PC Kaart aanbrengt in het vrije PCMCIA 2.1 slot.
Gedurende de software installatie is het mogelijk dat u de
Com-poort nummers moet toewijzen, afhankelijk van de harden software die u gebruikt.
Voor verdere informatie, raadpleeg de handleiding van uw PC
leverancier.
Indien u niet bekend bent met bovengenoemde installatie, bevelen wij dringend aan dat
u een standaard oplossing aanschaft van de firma waar u uw PC gekocht heeft, of dat u
ondersteuning krijgt.
3.3 De Cursus planner
Indien u veel Ambu demopops op de computer aansluit, bevelen wij aan dat u de cursus planner gebruikt om de training sessies te plannen.
Indien u een cursus voorbereid, moet u eerst uw naam als de cursus instructeur invoeren.
Selecteer daarna welk scenario als standaard voor deze groep sessie moet gelden. Voer dan,
voor iedere training sessie, de namen in van de deelnemers in de volgende lege rij en kies met
welke demopop de sessie uitgevoerd wordt. De software zal automatisch voorlopige start- en
einde tijden van de sessie invullen en een nieuwe lege rij voor de volgende training sessie in
gereedheid brengen.
Indien een of meerdere training sessies uitgevoerd moeten worden met andere dan de standaard parameters, druk dan op de Details knop in de overeenkomstige rij en verander de parameters zoals gewenst.
Indien alles van de cursus voorbereid is, druk op de Start cursus knop om verder te gaan. Als u
wilt, kunt u op Print drukken om een overzicht van de sessie op uw printer afgedrukt te krijgen.

3.4 Start cursus
In het Start cursus venster is de software klaar om de training sessie te behandelen.
Kondig iedere deelnemer van een sessie aan en als zij klaar zijn, druk dan op de Play knop in
de overeenkomstige rij om de training sessie te starten. Een grafiek overzicht zal achter het
Start cursus venster verschijnen en de training sessie op de achtergrond in het grafiek overzicht registreren.
Als een training sessie voltooid is, zal er een afvinkteken verschijnen in de overeenkomstige rij
van het Start cursus venster en u kunt de volgende training sessie voorbereiden.
Gedurende de uitvoering van een cursus kunt u tot op het laatste moment wijzigingen aanbrengen in de volgorde van de sessies of de setup van iedere sessie met de knoppen Rij
omhoog, Rij omlaag en Details.
Door gebruik te maken van de toolbalk iconen, kunt u heen en weer bewegen tussen het grafiek overzicht of Start cursus venster en iedere individuele sessie in detail, of de algemene
voortgang van de cursus bekijken. U kunt ook de toetsenbord sneltoetsen gebruiken om deze
navigatie te versnellen. Zie de online help voor meer informatie.
Aanvullend op dit gebruiksgemak, voorziet de software in een toezicht venster dat een overzicht toont van de grafieken van vele training sessies tegelijk.

3.5 Het toezicht Venster
Dit venster stelt u in staat om toezicht te houden op de verschillende sessies die u gestart
heeft.
Actieve sessies worden op een witte achtergrond getoond, terwijl voltooide sessies een grijze
achtergrond hebben.
Door database dialogenknop te dubbelklikken of door de rechter muisknop eenmaal te klikken
op een van de overzichten, opent u het overeenkomstige grafiek venster.
3.6 De database dialogen
De database dialogen in het programma zijn ontworpen met een standaard interface. Zij hebben hetzelfde voorkomen en hebben dezelfde knoppen voor navigatie en bewerken.

Boven aan de dialoog vindt u de Snel vinden overzichtslijst. Gebruik deze lijst om elke gegeven richtlijn snel te vinden door hierop te klikken en in de lijst te scrollen tot u datgene vindt
dat u wilt inspecteren of bewerken. Dit principe is van toepassing op alle database dialogen.
De volgende aanwijzingen zijn van toepassing op het geheel van de personen, scenario’s, en
cursussen dialogen.
Om te begrijpen hoe het database systeem werkt, stel u voor dat alle richtlijnen naast elkaar
op een alfabetisch gerangschikte rij staan. Eén ervan is het huidige document dat op het
scherm te zien is, gemarkeerd met de pijl.
Als u de vier navigatie knoppen naast de Snel Vinden lijst gebruikt, kunt u bewegen naar: vorige document, volgende document, eerste document of laatste document. Dit document wordt
nu het huidige document.
Als u in de richtlijnen velden verandert, bewerkt u alleen het huidige document. Indien u de
naam van de richtlijn verandert, dan verandert u diens positie in de lijst (dit kan niet op het
scherm gezien worden, omdat de richtlijn nog steeds van kracht is.):
Wij bevelen u niet aan om de vooraf vastgestelde richtlijnen te wijzigen dus druk op wijzigingen Negeren om de wijzigingen ongedaan te maken en het document zal naar de oorspronkelijke plaats in de oorspronkelijke vorm terugkeren.
Indien u op Nieuwe richtlijn drukt, zal een nieuwe richtlijn gecreëerd worden op de uiterste
rechterkant van de lijst. Deze wordt de actieve richtlijn.

Vul het document in als gewenst en als u Wijzigingen opslaan drukt, zal de richtlijn naar de
juiste alfabetische volgorde in de lijst gaan, (de richtlijn blijft echter op het scherm):
Als u een kopie van een richtlijn wilt maken, dan moet u een nieuwe richtlijn creëren en handmatig alle velden invullen.
Het is niet mogelijk om twee verschillende richtlijnen met dezelfde naam te hebben. Daarom
moet u er zeker van zijn dat de naam veranderd is. Bij voorbeeld: u kunt een nieuwe persoon
met de naam ‘Eric Frans Slager’ invoeren en ontdekken dat een andere persoon met dezelfde
naam reeds in de database bestaat als u drukt op Wijzigingen opslaan. Verkort daarom de
naam tot ‘Eric F. Slager’, of gebruik alleen ‘Eric Slager’ om die twee personen uit elkaar te
houden.
Bemerk dat de verschillende databases onderling verbonden zijn. Bij voorbeeld: de personen
die verschijnen als deelnemers aan sessies zijn aan de persoonsdatabase gekoppeld. Indien u
de naam van een persoon in de Database | Personen dialoog verandert, dan zal het systeem
automatisch de naam in alle sessies waaraan deze persoon deelgenomen heeft, bijwerken.
Evenzo, als u een persoon verwijdert van de database, zal het programma u waarschuwen dat
u eveneens alle sessies en cursussen waaraan die persoon heeft deelgenomen, zult verwijderen. Dit handhaaft een vaste lijn in de database.

Appendix
END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR THE AMBU® CPR SOFTWARE
(the "Program") OWNED BY AMBU INTERNATIONAL A/S ("Ambu").
1. License Grant
For each Ambu CPR Software Kit purchased by a customer ("Customer"), Ambu grants to
Customer the limited, non-exclusive right to use one copy of the Program and its appurtenant
manuals and other documentation (the "Documentation"). Without prejudice to the generality
of the foregoing, Customer may not rent, sell, sublicense or in any other way transfer the Program, whether for free or for consideration, to any third party. The Program may only be used
by the Customer’s employees and authorized personnel expressly authorized by Customer,
and Customer is liable for its employee’s or the authorized personnel’s (as the case may be)
compliance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
2. Copyright
The Program and the Documentation is owned by Ambu and is protected by Danish copyright
law, international copyright treaties and other applicable legislation on intellectual property rights. Customer may make one copy of the Program solely for backup purposes or archival purposes. Customer may not copy the Documentation.
3. Protection of the Program
Customer agrees to take all reasonable steps to protect the Program and the Documentation
from unauthorized copying or use. Customer may not copy, except as set forth in Clause 2 of
this Agreement, modify, reverse compile, reverse assemble, disassemble, decompile or in any
other way reverse engineer the Program, whether to discover the source code or for any other
purpose. The structure, configuration and source code of the Program represents and embodies trade secrets belonging to Ambu. The source code and embodied trade secrets are not
part of the rights licensed to Customer under this Agreement, and any modification is strictly
prohibited.
4. Disclaimer
Customer shall be responsible for the planning and implementation of necessary control procedures to ensure the reliability of the Program, including the correctness of the results originating from the use of the Program.
The Program and the Documentation are provided "AS IS". Ambu makes no warranty, representation or promise not expressly set forth in this agreement. Ambu disclaims and excludes
any and all implied warranties for merchantability and fitness for any particular purpose. Ambu
does not warrant that the Program or the Documentation will satisfy Customer's requirements
or that the Program and the Documentation are without error or that the operation of the Program will be uninterrupted.
Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, Ambu shall not be liable for any lost profits, lost savings, incidental damage or other economic or consequential damages, even if
Ambu has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Ambu is not responsible for lost
profits or revenue, loss of use of the Program, loss of data, cost of re-creating lost data, the
cost of any substitute program, or claims by any third party. Notwithstanding the foregoing
provisions of this Clause 4, nothing shall exclude Ambu's liability to Customer in respect of
any matter which cannot by statute or otherwise be excluded or which would, if so excluded,
render any provision of this Agreement invalid.

5. Limited Warranty
Except as expressly set out in this Clause 5, Customer shall have no other rights or remedies
in case of the Program being defective or non-conforming, and Ambu makes no further representations or warranties, expressly or implicitly, with respect to the Program. Ambu does not
warrant any upgrading or support of the program.
Ambu warrants that the Program will perform substantially in accordance with the Documentation for a period of 12 months from Customer's purchase of the Program. Any warranties on
the Program that shall be deemed applicable according to mandatory law shall be limited to
one year or the shortest period permitted by applicable law, whichever is greater.
Customer must report all defects, and return the Program to the location where Customer
obtained it with a copy of Customer's receipt within such period to be eligible for warranty
service. If the Program shall be found to be defective or non-conforming, Ambu will, at its
option and cost, either correct any errors, replace the Program or return the price paid.
If the magnetic media or digital media of the Documentation are damaged or physically defective at the time Customer purchases the Program, then Ambu will either replace the defective
materials or refund the Program to Customer upon return of all copies of the Program and the
Documentation to Ambu. In the event of a refund, the right to use the Program shall terminate.
If Customer has made modifications to the Program without the prior written approval of
Ambu, Ambu shall not be obliged to correct any non-conforming or defective Program as set
forth in this Agreement.
6. Termination
If Customer is in material breach of any of the provisions of this Agreement, Ambu may terminate the right of use granted to Customer hereunder with immediate effect. Customer shall
upon termination in accordance with this Clause 6 destroy all copies of the Program and the
Documentation, including back-ups, and submit a written certificate of such destruction to
Ambu within two weeks after the date of termination.
7. Disputes
This Agreement and any dispute pertaining to or arising out of the Agreement shall be governed by Danish Law and any dispute pertaining to or arising out of this Agreement shall be settled by the Danish Maritime and commercial Court in Copenhagen, Denmark.
