PAP-240 Three Axis Antenna Pedestal and feed
ANTENNE MOTORISEE 3 AXES Présentation générale. Versions : RxO Ku, RxO Ku&C (4 ports), RxTx Ku (2 ports), RxTx C (2 ports) PAP-240 Three Axis Antenna Pedestal and feed drive The two axis Motorized antenna pedestal, PAP-240 is especially developed for fixed offset type Earth stations in the sizes 1.8m until 3.6m for VSAT or TV Uplink applications with full motorization and optional tracking capability. Feed system is also motorized. The Pedestal back structure, which holds the main reflector and Feed-arm, can be customized to match the reflector types, including Skyware Type 243/244, Prodelin 1240 and many others. The Pedestal itself is entirely manufactured of galvanized steel and spraypainted to protect against weather influences. The Motorization system is equipped with DC motors with planetary gear head and worm gear type reducers in both AZ and EL. All gear stages are supported with permanent lubrication and require minimal maintenance or supervision. For Elevation changes the Jack system is used, while it uses Worm gear for Azimuth adjustments. The Motorization for the Polarization axis is optional, and can be provided with a 24V DC motor if requested. The Angle measurements in all Axis are done by Size-11 type High Precision resolvers, while the Angle end points are limited by Solid Micro switches within the angles of AZ 0-3600 , EL 5-900 and POL +/ -1100. 3GS sas SAS au capital de 38 112 € - Siret : 349 444 950 00076. This smart antenna controller, can track orbit satellites with high inclination angles The PAC-250 Antenna Control System is an advanced auto positioning system for steerable fixed earth station antennas from 1.2 to 16m. A smart antenna controller with a very quick auto-pointing capability, it can track satellite orbits, even with high inclination angles. It traces the reference DVB signal, fine-tunes antenna peaking and adjusts the cross-pole of the feed-horn. The controller can be operated via the indoor unit control panel or an IP interface and can be configured as a basic jog controller with only manual control or as a high precision sensor with GPS, a Fluxgate compass, resolvers, limit switches and DVB receiver. Its acquisition speed and “one touch operation makes it very easy to operate and ideal for instant, reliable broadcasting under any condition and in any environment. The PAC-350 ACU consists of an outdoor unit, installed in the antenna shell and an indoor unit with control panel, touch sense keypad and navigation buttons. A handheld controller is optional. The PAC-250 system stores individual satellite positions in non-volatile memory for quick deployment of the antenna. In case a main power supply is not available, it can run on a 12VDC car battery. 3GS sas SAS au capital de 38 112 € - Siret : 349 444 950 00076. Siège social : 49 rue Maurice Arnoux, 92120 Montrouge. Fax : 03 20 02 04 44 PAC-250 TRC Tracking Control Unit Tracking Tracking is performed in either manual or automatic mode using 3 distinct tracking mode algorithms. 1. Step Tracking In step tracking mode, the controller periodically positions the antenna towards the satellite in stepping cycles. It peaks the signal strength of the telemetry or beacon receiver by jogging azimuth, elevation and optionally the polarization positions of the antenna during each cycle. Cycle time and position are recorded into nonvolatile memory for other modes of operation. Step tracking mode operation continues until the beacon signal reaches a predetermined level or number of movements. If the beacon signal is lost during a cycle or its level drops below a threshold value, step tracking is terminated for safety purposes. To reactivate step tracking, intervention is required. 2. Memory Tracking During memory tracking the controller uses stored antenna position coordinates to position the antenna. Coordinates for the last 24 hours are recorded in step tracking mode. The antenna is positioned to these coordinates automatically for the next 24 hours without relying beacon signal levels. 3GS sas SAS au capital de 38 112 € - Siret : 349 444 950 00076. Intelligent Tracking™ Intelligent tracking (i-Track™) is a special tracking mode developed internally. It is a combination of Step Tracking mode and Memory Tracking mode. In intelligent tracking mode, the controller operates as in step track and stores the antenna azimuth, elevation and polarization angles in cycles. If the beacon signal is lost during a cycle or its level drops below a threshold value, step tracking, tracking is automatically switched to memory tracking. The controller will continue to peak the antenna to the satellite using stored position coordinates and will remain in memory tracking mode until the beacon signal returns to its normal level. It will then automatically switch back to step tracking mode.
