DESCRIPTION: Leak Stopper is a revolutionary advancement in roof patching and
repair. This long lasting rubberized repair is specially formulated to penetrate deep into
damaged areas and stop roof leaks instantly! The secret is Penetrex™, a unique penetrating oil that reaches deep into the crack and forms a complete seal. With the addition
of liquid rubber, this flexible, high performance plastic cement provides a superior watertight bond that will stop problem leaks for good.

WHAT IT DOES: Stops roof leaks instantly.
WHAT IS NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE JOB? Trowel or caulk gun, gloves and reinforcing fabric.
PREP THE AREA: Surfaces must be clean, free of surface rust and loose material.
HOW TO APPLY: Use trowel to spread across damaged surface of roof. Embed reinforcing fabric after first layer and apply second layer on top of fabric.

HOW MUCH DO I NEED? Covers approximately 8 sq. ft. per gallon.
DO's and DON'Ts: Do apply in exterior applications only. Do wear protective clothing.
Don't apply to plastic, EPDM, Hypalon or similar type of synthetic rubber roof system. If
there is a question on compatibility, test a small section first before application to entire
surface area.
FOR BEST RESULTS: It is highly recommended to reinforce the repair with a strip of
reinforcing fabric. Work material to an even consistency over and into the area to be
repaired approximately 1/8" to 1/2" thick, two or three inches beyond the problem area.
Embed fabric into the cement and cover with a second layer of cement. Form a feathered edge with cement where chimney's, vent pipes, and other projections meet the
roof line. DO NOT EXPOSE DIRECT HEAT/FLAMES OR THIN. Best used when surface
temperatures are between 50° and 120° F. In colder weather (50° and below), product
should be stored in heated room (70° to 80° F.) at least 24 hours prior to application to
promote ease of application. Product formulated to be used year round.
PRECAUTIONS: Protective clothing and eye wear should be used during application of
these products. When transporting this product, ensure that lid is tight and pail secure
and upright. Do not allow pail to tumble as this may cause lid to loosen and leakage to
occur. Do not transport on passenger seats or inside the passenger compartment of any
vehicle. Store product in the cargo area of vehicle, and secure over protective cloths to
prevent damage due to accidental spills. Do not store at temperatures above 100° F.
This manufacturer also disclaims liability for flat surface application where poor drainage
or ponding water may prevail. Do not reuse empty containers.
HOW TO CLEAN-UP: Clean tools and spills with paint thinner or mineral spirits.

DESRIPTION : Le Composé de réparation Leak Stopper® marque une percée révolutionnaire dans le domaine du colmatage et
de la réparation de toitures. Ce composé de colmatage caoutchouté longue durée est spécialement formulé pour pénétrer en profondeur dans les endroits endommagés et boucher instantanément les fuites provenant du toit! Le secret réside dans l’utilisation
de PenetrexMC, une huile pénétrante unique qui s’introduit profondément dans la fente et la scelle complètement. Grâce à l’ajout de
caoutchouc liquide, ce ciment plastique flexible haute performance forme un joint supérieur, étanche à l’eau, qui élimine les fuites
critiques.
PRÉPARATION DE LA SURFACE : La surface doit être propre et exempte de rouille, de saleté et de débris.
APPLICATION : Utiliser une truelle pour étaler sur la surface endommagée du toit. Insérer un tissu de renfort après la première
couche puis appliquer une deuxième couche sur le dessus du tissu.
QUELLE QUANTITÉ ME FAUDRA-T-IL? Un gallon couvre environ 8 pieds carrés.
À FAIRE et NE PAS FAIRE : Convient à des applications extérieures seulement. Porter des vêtements de protection. Ne pas utiliser
sur des surfaces en plastique, élastomère EPDM, Hypalon ou sur un revêtement de toit en caoutchouc synthétique de type similaire. En cas de doute sur la compatibilité du produit, faire d’abord un essai sur une petite section avant d’en appliquer sur toute la
surface.
POUR DES RÉSULTATS OPTIMUMS : Il est fortement recommandé de renforcer la réparation d’une bande de tissu de renfort
universelle. Travailler le matériau jusqu’à l’obtention d’une consistance égale sur la surface à réparer et à l’intérieur de celle-ci d’environ 1/8 po à 1/2 po d’épaisseur, en dépassant de deux ou trois pouces au-delà de la surface à réparer. Incorporer le tissu dans
le ciment et le couvrir d’une deuxième couche de ciment. Former un bord en biseau avec du ciment à l’endroit où les cheminées,
grilles de ventilation et autres saillies joignent la ligne de toiture. NE PAS EXPOSER À LA CHALEUR DIRECTE/AUX FLAMMES NI
DILUER. On recommande d’appliquer le produit lorsque la température de la surface se situe entre 50° et 120 °F. Par temps plus
frais (50 °F ou moins), ranger le produit dans une pièce chauffée (70° à 80 °F) pendant au moins 24 heures afin de faciliter l’application. Ce produit est formulé pour être utilisé à l’année longue.
PRÉCAUTIONS : Porter des vêtements et lunettes de protection pendant l’application de ce produit. Lorsqu’on transporte ce
produit, s’assurer que le couvercle est bien fermé, et que le seau est bien rangé en position stable et verticale. Éviter de laisser le
seau se renverser au risque que le couvercle se desserre et qu’une fuite se produise. Ne pas transporter sur le siège de passagers
ou à l’intérieur de l’habitacle d’un véhicule. Placer plutôt le produit dans l’aire de chargement du véhicule, et sur des chiffons de
protection afin de prévenir les dommages dus à un déversement accidentel. Ne pas ranger à une température de plus de 100 °F. Le
fabricant se dégage de toute responsabilité en cas d’application sur une surface plane pouvant être sujette à un mauvais drainage
ou à la formation de flaques d’eau. Ne pas réutiliser le contenant vide.
NETTOYAGE : Nettoyer les outils ou déversements à l’aide d’un diluant à peinture ou d’essence minérale.
