ITINERARY I - If you are taking the highway, from LYON/MARSEILLE
or coming from ITALY
You have 2 alternatives :
1) Stay on the highway and get off at EXIT 54 (NICE-NORD, NICE QUARTIERS
NORD).
At this juncture, you are located about 6 km. from our guest house.
Turn left at the traffic circle (roundabout) on Boulevard Paul Rémond and drive another 200m
to LE RAY CENTRE VILLE. Then turn right on Blvd Comte de Falicon and drive another
300m. Take another right on Avenue du Ray then stay straight on Avenue de St. Sylvestre for
another 400 m.
You are now 4 km away from us !
Turn right onto Boulevard Jean Behra, then turn left on the third street, Avenue de la Clua
(this road winds its way up for over 3 km). At the very top of the road you’ll come to la Route
de Saint Pancrace. Turn LEFT – (the Restaurant Cicion will be on the corner), then turn right
on La Corniche des Oliviers. L’Avenue de Féric is the 1st street on the right and the “Jardin
de Victorine” is the 2nd house on the right. There is a brown wrought iron gate; just ring
the bell and we’ll be delighted to come and greet you ! Off-street parking is provided for
you next to the gate, under the pergola.
2) OR : Get off the highway, to enter the town :
a) At EXIT 50 : if you are coming from LYON or MARSEILLE:
Get off exit NICE CENTRE, then keep left on Boulevard Georges Pompidou, on the way to
NICE CENTRE Promenade des Anglais.
Take la promenade Edouard Corniglion-Molinier, then follow the same instructions given in
Itinerary II, from this point onwards.
b) At EXIT 51: If you are coming from MENTON or from ITALY:
At the traffic circle (roundabout) , turn left onto la Digue des Francais and drive on for 450m.
Turn right onto Route de Grenoble and keep driving for 600m. Keep on Rte. de Grenoble on
the left towards Monaco/Menton for 1km. You’ll pass beneath the “voie Mathis” bridge.
You will see a gas station and the Floral Park “Le Phoenix” on your right : at this point, you
will be turning LEFT onto rue Jules Bessi on the way to NICE CENTRE-MONACOMENTON. Then follow the instructions for Itinerary II from this point onwards.
ITINERARY II -
If you are arriving from NICE COTE D’AZUR Airport :
(You are 12 km from our guest house “Au Jardin de Victorine”)
At the traffic circle (roundabout) called “Rond-Point du Voyageur” (or de L’Homme de
Pierre) take the third exit to Nice Centre.
Keep to the left for 700 m. while driving on la Promenade Edouard Corniglion-Molinier.
Turn LEFT on Avenue des Grenouillères (to MONACO MENTON), then turn LEFT again on
Boulevard René Cassin. Turn RIGHT on the second street, Rue Jules Bessi.
Drive towards NICE CENTRE, MONACO MENTON, on la Voie Mathis (or Voie Rapide).
You’ll stay on this for 4 km.
Get off at exit Saint Philippe/ Gare SNCF.
From this point, you are about 6 km from our guest house.
When you get to the traffic lights, turn left, drive under the voie MATHIS bridge and turn
left again (hairpin bend) to l’Avenue d’Estiennes d’ORVES. Drive up for 300m, cross the
“Petit Chemin de Fer des Pignes” railroad line.
Here you will come to la Route de Saint Pierre de Féric, on which you’ll remain for about
3.5 km. Next you need to make a sharp right turn onto St. Pierre de Féric / St. Pancrace on the
meandering Rte. de St. Pierre de Féric. After 3.5 km., keep going straight ahead on la
Corniche des Oliviers for about 2.5 km. Right in front of the ruby red gate on the Corniche
des Olivier, number 194, TURN LEFT, onto AVENUE DE FERIC.
Le “Jardin de Victorine” is the 2nd house on the RIGHT. You will see a wrought iron gate
and an off- street parking near the gate is there for your reserved parking. Just ring the
gate bell and we will be so happy to come and greet you
ITINERARY III -
If you are arriving in NICE by train :
You will get off the train at Nice Thiers SNCF station.
You will be about 5km from our guest house.
You have 2 alternatives : either take a taxi from the train station, or you can take the bus
service “Ligne d’Azur”.
When you get off the railway station, the bus stop is in front of you, on the other side of the
street. The bus is number 64 and leaves the station every 40 minutes during the week from 8
A.M.- 8 P.M. The Sunday schedules may be less frequent.
It will take you about 25 minutes to get to our guest house via bus.
You will need to get off the bus at the “Les Crêtes / Oliviers” stop and go on the road by foot
following the same direction as the bus for about 150m. When you see a ruby red gate on
your right, at Corniche des Oliviers number 194, turn right to l’Avenue de Féric. “Jardin de
Victorine” is the second house on the right. There is a wrought iron gate and you can just
ring the bell and we will be happy to come and greet you.
