PEGAS to launch time spread products on
its Futures Markets in January
Paris, 12 January 2017. PEGAS, the pan-European gas trading platform operated by
Powernext, has announced the introduction of time spread contracts on its futures
markets on 24 January in order to further support its growth in derivatives. The new
products will be available through the Trayport Global Vision trading platform, as well as
the Straight Through Processing (STP) registration service for OTC trades, on all
PEGAS hubs (CEGH VTP, ETF, GASPOOL, NBP, NCG, PEG Nord, PSV, TRS, TTF,
ZEE and ZTP).
PEGAS currently offers location spread products between its Austrian, Belgian, Danish,
Dutch, French, German, Italian and UK market areas.
The new products will enable PEGAS members to trade two contracts of the same
maturity with different delivery periods within the same market area (e.g. buy summer
season / sell winter season). Time spreads across maturities, for example
month/quarter, and across delivery areas are not being made available. The maturity
range covers monthly, quarterly, seasonal and calendar instruments.

our market participants. Furthermore, the members authorised to trade in a particular
market area will automatically be able to trade the new contracts on that market area

Gashandelsplattform PEGAS hat die Einführung von Time-Spread-Kontrakten im
Terminmarkt zum 24. Januar angekündigt, um das Wachstum an den Terminmärkten
weiter zu fördern.
Die neuen Produkte werden über die Trayport Global Vision Handelsplattform sowie
den Straight-Through-Processing (STP) Registration Service für die PEGAS-Hubs
(CEGH VHP, ETF, GASPOOL, NBP, NCG, PEG Nord, PSV, TRS, TTF, ZEE und ZTP)
zur Verfügung stehen.
Gegenwärtig bietet PEGAS Location-Spread-Produkte zwischen den Marktgebieten
Österreich, Belgien, Dänemark, Niederlande, Frankreich, Deutschland, Italien und dem
Vereinigten Königreich an.
Die neuen Produkte ermöglichen den Teilnehmern den Handel zwischen zwei
Kontrakten der gleichen Fälligkeit mit unterschiedlichen Lieferfristen innerhalb eines
Marktgebiets (z.B. Kauf Sommer-Halbjahr/ Verkauf Winter-Halbjahr). Time Spreads
über verschiedene Fälligkeiten, wie beispielsweise Monat/Quartal, und Liefergebiete
hinweg sind nicht verfügbar. Die Bandbreite an Fälligkeiten umfasst Monats-, Quartals-,
Saison- und Kalenderjahresinstrumente.

PEGAS lance des produits spreads
temporels en janvier sur son marché des
dérivés
Paris, le 12 janvier 2017. La plateforme paneuropéenne de négociation du gaz
PEGAS, opérée par Powernext, annonce le lancement de contrats de spreads
temporels (time spreads) sur ses marchés futures le 24 janvier pour soutenir la
croissance de ses marchés des dérivés. Ces nouveaux produits seront disponibles sur
la plateforme de négociation Trayport Global Vision, ainsi qu’à travers son service
d’enregistrement pour les intérêts hors-carnet (STP – Straight Through Processing) sur
tous les hubs de PEGAS (CEGH VTP, ETF, GASPOOL, NBP, NCG, PEG Nord, PSV,
TRS, TTF, ZEE and ZTP).
PEGAS offre actuellement des produits spreads géographiques entre ses zones de
marché allemande, autrichienne, belge, danoise, française, italienne, néerlandaise et
UK.
Ces nouveaux produits permettront à nos membres de traiter deux contrats de la même
maturité sur des périodes de livraison différentes et dans la même zone de livraison
(par exemple buy summer season / sell winter season). Les spreads temporels sur
différentes maturités, par exemple mois/trimestre, et sur différentes zones de livraison
ne sont pas disponibles. La gamme de maturités couvre des instruments mois,
trimestres, saisons et calendaires.
