I film directed by Claude Lelouch starring Mathilde Seigner, Maïwenn, Arielle Dombasle, Agnès Soral, Alessandra Martines, Massimo Ranieri, Michel Leeb, Ticky Holgado, Francis Perrin, Pierre Santini, Grégori Derangère & Constantin Alexandrov. The Story Ilva runs her stepfather's Eden Palace cinema in wartime Paris against a background of Resistance activities, the frequent sight of less fortunate Parisians being shipped east in cattle-trains and, later, the impact of the D-Day landings. Over time a number of other lives intersect with hers, including a German officer and then two American servicemen. A post-war shooting comes to dominate her story along, perhaps surprisingly, with cinema itself. - Written by Jeremy Perkins 2011 FROM ONE FILM TO ANOTHER (D'UN FILM A L'AUTRE) documentary by Claude Lelouch The Story From One Film to Another is an anthology documentary produced by Les Films 13 that 4/6 Films in the 2000s celebrates the work of highly venerated french auteur Claude Lelouch over the course of his half century long career in cinema.
