Jean-Pierre Robitaille Joins the OST Team
He will act as the Observatoire's coordinator and as assistant to the principal
investigator of the all-new Consortium sur l'innovation et le bien-être dans l'économie du
savoir (CIBL'es) funded by the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI).
After the completion of his Master's degree in History of Medicine at UQAM, Jean-Pierre
Robitaille worked at the Centre interuniversitaire de recherche sur la science et la
technologie (CIRST) from 1995 to 1999, where he was editor, among other things, of the
Bulletin de l'enseignement supérieur. From 1999 to 2002, as an analyst for the
Observatoire des sciences et des technologies, he took part in the production of
numerous reports. From 2002 to 2004, he produced several research studies for
Quebec's Conseil de la science et de la technologie.
We are pleased to welcome back Jean-Pierre Robitaille into the Observatoire's team
and we wish him a pleasant return.
