300
series - Contractor Series
The most recent loaders in the Patu range together
with 10 and 12 tonne trailers have been designed
for professional timber harvesting. Good lifting
capacity, outreach and slewing torque combined
with optimum movements provide increased speed
and reliability.
304
and 304T
The short lifting boom makes the 304 easy to
manoeuvre. The oil-lubricated four-cylinder slewing mechanism and excellent lifting capacity
render it a superior loader. Together with the model 304T, it is a good general purpose loader for
heavy forestry and farming applications. Thanks
to the wide-angle joint used in both models, the
properties for loading in the immediate vicinity of
the trailer are also excellent.
305
and 305T
Patu 305T is the largest loader in the Patu range.
Kesla Patu 304 + 10T
Loads at a distance of more than 8 metres can
be handled without moving the trailer by utilising
the speed, strength and accuracy of the loader.
A lifting capacity of more than 1,000 kg (4 m)
guarantees endless Patu strength around the
clock.
The loaders in the 300 series are mounted directly
on Patu 10-tonne or 12-tonne trailers with a
mounting column or hydraulic stabilizers, which
are available as accessories.
10T,
10H, 10HD and 10ND trailers
Patu 10 and 10T are the basic models in heavy
trailers. They are designed for heavy-duty, roundthe-year timber carriage. Three crossbeams, twocylinder articulated steering, and a strong head
rack are standard accessories.
The HD trailer equipped with a hydraulic four wheel
drive gives a traction force of 1.5 tonnes. The
technical properties of the trailer together with its
strong design have been streamlined to an
optimum level. Thanks to the wide range of tyres
available, the trailer can be fine-tuned to various
applications and terrain types.
12MD
and 12MDH trailers
Patu 12MD is a timber trailer with mechanical

traction, offering superior traction power and
durability. The standard accessories include four
crossbeams and a load area of more than 3
square metres. The trailer features a traction force
as high as 5.3 tonnes. The traction is connected
to the power output of the tractor. Patu 12MD
can be equipped with a normal tow bar or with a
so-called V bar with body lock.
Patu 12MDH trailers have hydraulic power
transmission, which gives almost the same traction
force as Patu 12MD without power supply from
the tractor.
Patu 12 trailers feature a unique traction release,
which means that the trailer does not restrict the
driving speed on roads. The trailers can also be
equipped with Foresteri 400/500 loaders.

series - Agriforestry Series
The Patu 200 series loaders and 8T trailers are
highly suitable for timber harvesting at farms
and for other loading and transport in farming.
202
and 202T
Patu 202T equipped with a hydraulic extension
is an ideal tool for the loading of pulp wood
and long-length wood. On the other hand, the
202 model with no extension has a better lifting capacity. The telescopic stabilizers in both
models are durable, since their cylinders are
protected inside the stabilizer legs. The loader
has an oil-lubricated slewing mechanism,
which is very strong for this size category.
Kesla Patu 202T + 8T
203
and 203T
Patu 203T belongs to the most popular size
category in the Agriforestry Series. The loader
features excellent technical properties, and
modern 2-lever control ensures that work is
easy and efficient.
All Patu 200 series loaders have a unique spacesaving transport position.
8T
and 8HD
Patu 8T and the 8HD driven trailer have been
designed for Patu 200 range loaders. This
combination serves the lighter transport needs
in farming and forestry. The loaders are mounted
on the tow bar of the trailer directly with the Aframe or by means of a mounting plate, which
is available as an accessory. Articulated steering
makes the trailers very agile even in dense
forests.
8T
trailers
The durability and proven properties of Patu 8T
render it Kesla's most popular trailer model.
Thanks to the freely adjustable head rack and
crossbeams, the load space can be modified
to various transport needs. Asymmetrical bogies
ensure that the trailer can encounter rough
terrain.
Kesla Patu 203T + 8HD
8HD
trailers
The 8-tonne trailer provided with hydraulic four
wheel drive is the solution for the more
demanding terrain conditions. The trailer gives
a traction force of 1.2 tonnes. Due to the open
structure, the drive roller remains very clean
and ensures efficient traction even in difficult
conditions.

Mechanical 2-lever control
Electronic ON/OFF control
The Patu loaders can be equipped
with a control valve operated by
means of two mechanical levers. The
easy-to-use levers offer smooth
starting and stopping as well as quick
loader control.
The usability of the mechanical
control valve can be enhanced by
replacing the control for the grapple
turning movement and boom
extension with electronic ON/OFF
switches.
When using a hydraulically pilotcontrolled valve, the four main
functions of the loader are controlled
by means of two smoothly-operated
joysticks. This gives the advantage
that the speed of loader movements
is independent of the other
simultaneous movements.
Forage grapple/manure grapple
The forage/manure grapple is well
suited for the loading of silage, dry
hay and manure. It also comes in
handy in the lifting of unwrapped
round bales.

gives a breaking force of 20 kN at
the tip of the bucket. Quick

Gravel clamshell bucket
The gravel bucket mounted on the
timber grapple can be used for
loading soil or for instance bulk
fertilizers. The gravel bucket can be
