POTENTIEL EN SECURITE ROUTIERE 1° ETAPE
Un enjeu maximum est une réduction de 10 % des tués en Europe avec :
- 14 % pour les occupants de VL
- 5% pour les 2 roues motorisés
La répartition en fonction des zones d’accidents montre un gros enjeu potentiel sur autoroutes pour toutes les
sévérités.
Attention : Les chiffres annoncés ci-dessus sont surestimés car non limités sur les scénarios
par type d’usagers et en fonction de la vitesse de roulage des véhicules légers.

EXEMPLE SUR UN CAS REEL
Accident mortel dans un trafic dense
vitesse d impact entre 50 km/h et 60 km/h
Un véhicule autonome aurait évité au mieux l’accident, au pire le décès par une
anticipation de la présence d’un véhicule arrêté devant sur la même file de circulation.
Accident sur autoroute impliquant un ensemble routier et un véhicule léger.
Le conducteur circulait sur la première voie vraisemblablement en direction de l' aéroport.
L'ensemble routier est à l'arrêt avec les feux de détresse en marche quand le véhicule léger vient
s'encastrer de tout son avant sous la barre anti-encastrement de la remorque jusqu'au pare-brise.
