opposition to wind farms and smaller developments.

This email is in support of your march on April 15 against the massive implantation of wind turbines
in Ireland. I am a member of the French group Alianse in Normandy (France) that is composed of
citizens appalled by such so-called ecological measures on the part of the authorities who are
manipulated by the lobbies and the "green parties".

I am interested as wind turbines. I know they are useless, they allow just enrich "promoters". They
pollute because central that must accompany them, they make a noise that bothers many
people and infrasound are even dangerous for some. Adding that homes near wind turbines lose a lot
of value and - this is very important - there are renewable energy sources actual sea and land
(geothermal ea) that are available, which provide employment to locals and not too expensive.
Do not allow dishonest people to destroy your life!

Our local Committee against windfarms, AIR LIBRE, based in Merbes, Belgium and regrouping close
to 2,000 families, associates itself with the Irish opponents to wind energy. It ruins the rural
population who have to suffer their presence, it destroys landscapes and tourism, and last but not
least, it has strictly no use in the reduction of CO2 emissions, since it imposes to keep and develop
gas or coal turbines to compensate for the absence or the excess of wind.
We are totally opposed to the European policies on intermittent renewables such as wind energy.

The members of „Verein zum Schutz des Kobernaußerwaldes“ in Braunau am Inn, Austria are
deeply annoyed on the distortion of Ireland`s nature and landscape by an increasing number of
windmills. One of our association´s policies is that members decided not so visit countries where
windfarms occupy and devalue large areas of once beautiful landscape.
Lake Superior Action Research Conservation - Canada
An Irish company started the push for wind development in our scenic wilderness tourism region
saying wind farms are a tourist attraction and everyone in Ireland is happy to have them. Research
systematically refuted all claims they made and we have fought the wind foes to protect the iconic
forest/wetland watershed of Lake Superior (the cleanest of our Great Lakes) for years now.
I am writing on behalf of the group we formed, Lake Superior Action Research Conservation
(lsarc.ca), to say we (especially those of us in the "action" dept.) support your march and peaceful
action in protest of expensive, unnecessary, "unreliables" and all the ugliness they inflict on
landscapes and people.

prouvé, nous ne payons pas moins cher l'électricité, bien au contraire, notre patrimoine immobilier
est dévaloriésé, qu'allons nous laissé à nos enfants?
