FOR FIRST TIME USE: Remove protector from prongs on Part B and extra plug cap from Part A. The solar system needs
to charge for 6-8 hours with the switch in the “ON” position. This allows the rechargeable battery to reach maximum
capacity.

If lamp does not light, remove battery, wipe both ends with a clean, dry cloth, and replace battery. Check the battery to
ensure that it is making secure contact with the terminal. If light does not turn on after charging, make sure the switch is in
the “ON” position.

To attach to wall: Unwind the cable of lights (Part B) and lay the lights along a line where you wish them to be located.
NOTE: Make sure the Solar Panel is installed where sunlight can reach it. Level the wall support (Part C)
perpendicular to a flat, sturdy wall with the opening facing up. With a pencil, trace two holes on the wall, using the wall
support (Part C) as a template. Pre-drill pilot holes onto the wall where your pencil marks were made. Insert the plastic
anchors (Parts E) into the holes. Align the holes on the wall support (Part C) with the plastic anchors (Parts E) inserted in
the holes on the wall. Using a screwdriver, insert the screws (Parts D) through the holes on the wall support (Part C) and
the plastic anchors (Parts E), and twist clockwise until secure. Attach the solar panel (Part A) by inserting the bottom end
of Part A into the wall support (Part C). Attach the plug end of the lights (Part B) to the solar panel (Part A) by inserting it
and turning the plug cap clockwise until it is secure.
Ground stake assembly: Attach the solar panel (Part A) by inserting the bottom end of Part A into Part F. Insert Part F
into Part G. Carefully insert Part H into the ground where desired. Push the stake into the ground until the top collar is
even with the ground surface. NOTE: If the ground is hard and packed, moisten the ground with water before
inserting the stake to avoid breakage. Firmly slide assembled Parts A , F, and G onto top of Part H until it is flush. Attach
the plug end of the lights (Part B) to the solar panel (Part A) by inserting it and turning the plug cap clockwise until it is
secure.

Si la lumière ne fonctionne pas, retirez la pile, essuyez-en les deux extrémités à l'aide d'un linge propre et sec et replacez
la pile. Vérifiez que la pile est en contact ferme avec les bornes. Si la lumière ne s'allume pas après la charge,
assurez-vous de faire glisser l’interrupteur à la position « ON » (marche).

Pour fixer les lumières au sol : fixez le panneau solaire (A) en insérant sa partie inférieure dans la pièce F. Insérez la
pièce F dans la pièce G. Enfoncez la pièce H avec précaution dans le sol à l’emplacement désiré. Poussez le piquet dans
le sol jusqu’à ce que le col supérieur soit à ras de la surface. REMARQUE : si le sol est dur et compact, humidifiez la
terre avec de l’eau avant d’y enfoncer le piquet pour éviter de l’endommager. Glissez fermement et entièrement
l’assemblage des pièces (A, F, G) dans la pièce H. Branchez la fiche du câble de lumières (B) au panneau solaire (A) en
l’insérant et en la tournant dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à ce qu’elle tienne bien en place.
REPLACING THE BATTERY • REMPLACEMENT DE LA PILE
Remove Part A and place upside-down on a flat surface. Slide the power switch to the "OFF" position. Remove
the 8 screws from the bottom of solar panel using a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the old battery, and replace
with a new 3.2 V 1,200 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery, making sure to align the positive side of the battery
with the + sign and the negative side of the battery with the - sign. Replace the top section of the solar panel by
aligning the bottom side of the panel (with 5 screw holes) with the bottom side of the battery compartment (with
corners), and secure with the 8 screws. Slide the power switch to the "ON" position.
For optimum performance, allow battery to charge in full sunlight.
Retirez la pièce A et placez-la à l’envers sur une surface plate. Glissez l’interrupteur en position « OFF » (arrêt).
Retirez les 8 vis de la section inférieure du panneau solaire à l’aide d’un tournevis cruciforme. Retirez la vieille
pile et remplacez-la par une pile rechargeable au lithium-ion de 3,2 V et 1 200 mAh neuve, en veillant à aligner
la borne positive de la pile sur le symbole « + » et la borne négative de la pile sur le symbole « - ». Replacez la
section supérieure du panneau solaire en alignant la section inférieure du panneau (avec les 5 trous de vis) sur
la section inférieure du compartiment à pile (avec les coins), puis fixez-les à l'aide des 8 vis. Glissez
l’interrupteur en position « ON » (marche). Pour un fonctionnement optimal, laissez le produit se charger à
la pleine lumière du soleil.
