Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA) Installation Guide
1. Disconnect the power from your cable or DSL modem and computer.
2. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable into the INTERNET port on the Analog
Telephone Adapter (ATA) and the other end into your Cable/DSL modem.
3. Connect another Ethernet cable from your computer or router WAN/INTERNET port
to the ETHERNET port on the ATA. If you are using a home router then connect
your PC(s) to the free router ports using separate Ethernet cables. If that does not
work, you may have to connect the router’s WAN/INTERNET port to the INTERNET
port on the ATA then connect your PC(s) to the free router ports using separate
Ethernet cables
4. Connect your analogue telephone to the PHONE 1 port of the ATA.
5. Connect the power to the Cable/DSL modem and power it up.
6. Plug the power adapter into the ATA.
7. Wait about two minutes for the Cable/DSL modem to boot up and for the status
indicators to be lit. The ATA Phone Adapter’s status lights will blink in sequence until
it has fully connected to the Yak Digital Phone service. Do not interrupt the
configuration process by unplugging the power or lifting the receiver on your phone
during the startup process. The Power, Internet and Phone LEDs will be solidly lit
when the phone adapter is ready for use. It’s recommended that you wait at least 20
minutes before you start using the service.

1. Débranchez le fil de courant de votre modem câble ou DSL et l'ordinateur.
2. Branchez un câble Ethernet du port INTERNET de l'adaptateur téléphonique
analogue (ATA) au port Ethernet de votre modem câble / DSL.
3. Branchez un autre câble Ethernet de votre ordinateur au port Ethernet de l'ATA
ou du port WAN / INTERNET du routeur au port Ethernet de l'ATA. Si vous
utilisez un routeur, connectez votre ordinateur à un des ports libres du routeur
avec un câble Ethernet distinct. Si cela ne fonctionne pas, il faudra que vous
connectiez le port WAN/INTERNET au port INTERNET de l’ATA puis votre
ordinateur à un des ports libres du routeur avec un câble Ethernet distinct
4. Connectez votre téléphone analogue au port PHONE 1 de l’ATA.
5. Allumez le modem
6. Allumez l’ATA
7. Attendez environ deux minutes pour que le modem câble / DSL se démarre et
que les voyants soient allumés. Les voyants de l'ATA clignoteront en séquence
jusqu'à ce qu'il soit complètement connecté au service de téléphonie numérique
Yak. N'interrompez pas le processus de configuration en débranchant le courant
ou en décrochant votre téléphone pendant le processus de démarrage. Les
voyants de Courant, Internet et Téléphone seront solidement allumés lorsque
l’ATA est prêt à l'emploi. Il est recommandé d'attendre au moins 20 minutes
avant de commencer à utiliser le service.
