The following instruction will give you all the information you need to remove your personal
information from your phone. Before recycling your device please also remember to:
The account for the device has been fully paid and service has been deactivated.
Any headsets and chargers for the device are included with your donation. (These accessories
also contain recyclable and salvageable materials).
The SIM card is removed if there is one.
If mailing your used device, be sure that the device and its accessories are packaged in a box or
envelope using protective materials and securely attach a label to the box or envelope with its
barcode visible.
Data Erasing Instructions
Master Reset:
1. Select Menu > Settings and Phone > Phone management > Factory settings > Delete data and restore.
2. If prompted, enter the lock code.
3. Content and information stored on the memory card or SIM card is not removed. To delete all
content from your memory card: Select Menu > Applications > Office > File mgr. Then select and hold
the memory card, and from the pop-up menu, select Format.
Master Clear:
1. Select Menu > Applications > Office > File mgr..
2. Select and hold the mass memory, and from the pop-up menu, select Format.
Downloads:
1. Select Menu > Settings and Application manager.
2. Select Installed apps..
3. Select and hold the application to remove, and from the pop-up menu, select Uninstall.

Avant d’envoyer votre appareil par la poste ou de le laisser à un point de collecte :
Le compte associé à l’appareil doit être payé au complet et le service doit être désactivé.
Tout micro-casque ou chargeur fera partie de votre don. (Ces accessoires contiennent
également des matériaux recyclables et récupérables.)
La carte SIM doit être retirée de l’appareil, s’il y en a une.
Si vous envoyez votre appareil usagé par la poste, l’appareil et les accessoires sont emballés
dans une boîte ou une enveloppe à l’aide de matériel de protection, et l’étiquette-adresse est
affixée à la boîte ou l’enveloppe de manière sécuritaire, le code à barres bien visible.
Supprimer les renseignements personnels
Réinitialisation :
1. Sélectionnez Menu > Paramètres et Téléphone > Gestion téléphone > Config. d'origine > Suppr. donn.
et restaurer.
2. Si l'on vous le demande, entrez le code de verrouillage.
3. Le contenu et les informations stockés sur la carte mémoire ou sur la carte SIM ne sont pas
supprimés. Pour supprimer tout le contenu de votre carte mémoire : Sélectionnez Menu > Applications
> Bureau > Gest. fich. Et sélectionnez et maintenez enfoncée la carte mémoire, puis sélectionnez
Formater dans le menu contextuel.
Tout effacer :
1. Sélectionnez Menu > Applications > Bureau > Gest. fich..
2. Sélectionnez et maintenez enfoncée la mémoire de masse, puis sélectionnez Formater dans le menu
contextuel.

Téléchargements :
1. Sélectionnez Menu > Paramètres et Gest. d'applications.
2. Sélectionnez Appl. installées.
3. Sélectionnez et maintenez enfoncée l'application à supprimer, puis sélectionnez Désinstaller dans le
menu contextuel.
