The competitiveness clusters in the Centre Loire Valley region
support rail sector companies in their innovative projects
• The competitiveness cluster Elastopôle, based in Orléans
(Loiret), is a key local area development stakeholder which
rallies together the industrial concerns in the rubber
and polymer sector as well as all of the stakeholders up- and
downstream, especially in the motor vehicle, aeronautics,
ship and rail domains.
• The S2E2 cluster (Tours, Indre-et-Loire) brings together
companies, research centres and training institutions in the
Centre, Limousin and Pays de la Loire regions. It lends its
expertise in terms of electrical energy technologies and smart
grids in the service of energy management.
