(Senior) Technician synthetic organic chemistry • Bachelor or master level in (organic) chemistry with practical laboratory experience, ideally gained in an industrial environment • Experience with synthesis, purification and analysis of heterocyclic compounds • Passionate for bench chemistry and committed to laboratory work • Strong team-­‐player, fluent in English • Dynamic, research-­‐ and output minded • Reporting to the senior scientists We offer a fulltime job and you will be part of the internal Medicinal Chemistry group and be involved in the synthesis and analysis of potential new drugs. Your role is to develop and apply synthetic routes for the efficient delivery of new heterocyclic compounds. In addition, you will apply all required techniques for the purification (including extraction, crystallization, chromatography) and characterization of the compounds you deliver (TLC, LC-­‐MS, NMR). Suitable candidates will possess a bachelor or master level in organic chemistry, with extensive knowledge and hands-­‐on experience of heterocyclic chemistry. Je maakt gebruik van verschillende technieken voor de opzuivering (zoals extractie, kristallisatie en chromatografie) en analyseert de producten (TLC, LC-­‐MS, NMR). Als geschikte kandidaat, beschik je over een diploma professionele bachelor (of master) chemie en heb je bij voorkeur reeds enkele jaren praktijkervaring met heterocyclische chemie. Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) technicien(ne) en synthèse organique pour compléter notre équipe, composée de personnes motivées et expérimentées. Technicien(ne) (expérimenté (e)) en synthèse organique • Vous êtes titulaire d’un bachelor ou master en chimie organique, avec une expérience en laboratoire, idéalement acquise dans un environnement industriel. • Vous possédez une expérience en synthèse, purification et analyse de composés organiques et plus particulièrement hétérocycliques • Vous êtes passionné(e) par la chimie expérimentale et le travail de laboratoire • Vous faites preuve d’un sens du travail en équipe et maîtrisez l’anglais • Vous êtes dynamique, autonome et avez le souci du résultat • Vous reportez aux chercheurs confirmés Nous vous proposons un poste en CDI au sein du groupe de chimie médicinale, où vous serez en charge de la synthèse et de l’analyse de nouvelles molécules d’intérêt thérapeutique. Votre rôle consistera en le développement et l’application de nouvelles voies de synthèse dans le but d’obtenir efficacement de nouveaux composés hétérocycliques. De plus, vous maîtriserez toutes les techniques nécessaires pour la purification (incluant extraction, cristallisation et chromatographie) et la caractérisation des nouveaux composés synthétisés (CCM, LC-­‐MS, RMN). Le candidat devra être titulaire d’un bachelor ou d’un master en chimie organique et posséder des connaissances pratiques et théoriques approfondies en chimie hétérocyclique.
