Les nano- et microstructures des matériaux sources d’informations sur la technologie, l’origine et l’histoire des objets et matériaux du Patrimoine - Verres & Céramiques Nanophases et Dynamique vibrationelle des solides L. Colomban Coll: Musée de Sèvres, Virginia Institute, CEMES, CNR Faenza, Universités Skopje, Belgrade, Do Minho,… Les potiers (et verriers) utilisent les nanomatériaux (transition sol-gel des argiles) depuis des millénaires et conçoivent des dispositifs nano-optiques (le lustre) depuis plus de 1000 ans. La résolution de l’œil impose une maîtrise des pigments à l’échelle micronique. Les compositions de chaque émail doivent être adaptées au support (pâte, verre), aux pigments, au(x)cycle(s) de cuisson et au but esthétique.
