Eleven students and three faculty members from Bucknell University and four students and two faculty members from Bloomsburg
University have been approved as Certified Assistance Counselors by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
in an effort to help central Susquehanna Valley citizens enroll in healthcare plans offered through
the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, commonly called the Affordable Care Act or Obamacare.
