In a fusion of trance and dance floor, four women explore the art of living together in a space confined by a ceiling of light and the
surrounding audience
With each new creation, Louise Vanneste – artist in residence – takes her exploration of dance, the stage space and sound a little further. In Gone in
a Heartbeat , presented last season at the Biennale, four women move in parallel within the same space. Gradually the bodies start to move to the
beat of hypnotic music. Like a boxing ring encircled by four tiers of spectators and a ceiling of light, they take us off on an entrancing journey in a
fusion of trance and dance floor.
