6/2010: Participation in the organising committee of the 5th Conference of the Greek
DOCOMOMO: Planning ideals of the Modern Movement and the Greek city, Thessaloniki 3-4
June, organized by the Greek DOCOMOMO and the Department of Urban and Regional Planning
and Development of the School of Architecture - AUTH.
11/2008 and 11-12/2010: Participation in organising and curating the exhibition “Squares of
Europe, Squares for Europe”, based on the results of the European Community research project
«La Place, un patrimoine européen”, which was held firstly in the Museum of Byzantine Culture in
Thessaloniki (2008) and in the Benaki Museum in Athens (2010).

7/2013: Distinction in the architectural competition for the “Redesign of Eleftherias Square in
Thessaloniki” (in collaboration with: CMYT Architecture urbaine, Cristiana Mazzoni // Yannis
Tsiomis, the architect and landscape designer M. Tratsela, the landscape designer E.
Athanassiadou, the transport planner Α. Papagiannakis and the electrical engineer P. Kikidis).
3/2012: Participation in the architectural competition for the “Regeneration and enhancement of
the ‘Balkan Square’ in the former military camp Strebeniotis in the Municipality of NeapolisSykaies, Thessaloniki” (in collaboration with: the architect s Y. Klidaras, E. Sira, S. Tselepidi, the
transport planner A. Papagiannakis and the planner and transport planner A. Spyridonidou).
6/2003: Participation in the architectural competition Europan 7 “Suburban challenge.
Strengthening urbanity. Residential differentiation”. Project “’Flexible systems’: Planning a
residential area in the periphery of the city, Municipality of Nea Ionia, Magnisia” (in collaboration
with: I. Dova, E. Kanaki, E. Mpalassis, S. Tselepidis).
