Ingénieur Génie Civil (Bâtiments, Ponts et Chaussées) de l'Ecole Mohammadia d’Ingénieurs,
Rabat (Juin 1985). PhD en Computational Mechanics (Modélisation numérique des
systèmes aquifères : Identification paramétrique et optimisation) de l’Université de
Portsmouth, Wessex Institute of Technology, UK (Février 1994). Certificat de formation sur
l’Architecture, l’Energie et l’Environnement, Département Housing Development
Management, Université de Lund, Suède (2002).
Enseignant chercheur à l'Ecole Nationale d’Architecture (ENA) depuis octobre 1985. Les
enseignements dispensés -Statique ; Structure et Enveloppe ; Ambiances physiques :
Thermique, Acoustique, Eclairage ; Projet de Structure- relevant de l’Unité d’Enseignement,
de Recherche et d’Expertise «Ingénierie & Technologie».
Responsable de LabHAUT, Laboratoire de recherche sur l’Habitat, l’Architecture et
l’Urbanisation des Territoires au sein de l’ENA (2001-2009). Membre du Comité de Pilotage
de l’Unité de Formation et de Recherche « Architecture et Urbanisation des Territoires »,
DESA/Doctorat, Département de Géographie, Faculté des Lettres et des Sciences
Humaines, Université Mohammed V Agdal-Rabat en partenariat avec l’ENA, depuis 2001.
Ses domaines de recherche et d’expertise portent sur le Génie Civil (structures et
infrastructures), l’Efficacité Energétique dans le Bâtiment et l’Aménagement Urbain, le
Patrimoine Bâti.

Auteur de nombreuses publications (articles scientifiques, rapports d’expertise, etc.).
Membre expert du Comité Scientifique International ISCARSAH-ICOMOS pour l'Analyse et
la Restauration des Structures du Patrimoine Architectural et Vice Président de ICOMOS
Maroc.
Membre fondateur et Secrétaire Général de l’Association Marocaine des Sciences
Régionales (AMSR).
En tant que consultant, il a participé à l’élaboration d’une multitude d’études opérationnelles
et sectorielles portant sur l’Habitat et l’Urbanisme ainsi que l’élaboration des notes de calcul
de structures des bâtiments, réservoirs et châteaux d’eau.
