PEGAS: Austrian CEGH Exchange products
successfully launched
Vienna, Paris, Leipzig, 1 December 2016 – Powernext SA and the Austrian Central
European Gas Hub AG (CEGH) have announced the successful migration of the CEGH
Gas Exchange spot and futures contracts to the pan-European PEGAS platform
operated under the Powernext rulebook. This represents the conclusion of the
implementation phase of their cooperation as initially announced on 20th June 2016.
In the framework of the cooperation, all CEGH spot and futures products for the
Austrian gas market, including the products used for the Austrian balancing market
have been tradable on PEGAS since 08:00 CET today. Spread products with TTF,
NCG, GASPOOL and PSV are also available, as well as Trade Registration services for
PEGAS CEGH futures products.
Austrian balancing rules remain valid as part of the PEGAS offering. The operational
aspect of the Virtual Trading Point (VTP) in Austria is not affected and remains the
exclusive responsibility of CEGH AG.
The migration has involved the successful transfer of all 96 CEGH members to the
Powernext membership which now totals 231 participants across 8 European markets.
The CEGH Gas Exchange team will continue to be the central point of contact for
CEGH clients on PEGAS, whilst additionally contributing to the growth and development
of the PEGAS brand in Eastern Europe.

PEGAS: Erfolgreiche Migration der
österreichischen CEGH-Gaskontrakte
Wien, Paris, Leipzig, 1. Dezember 2016 – Powernext SA und die österreichische
Central European Gas Hub AG (CEGH) haben die Spot- und Futureskontrakte der
CEGH Gas Exchange erfolgreich auf die paneuropäische PEGAS-Plattform überführt,
die dem Regelwerk der Powernext unterliegt. Die Migration bildet den Abschluss der
Umsetzungsphase der am 20. Juni 2016 bekanntgegebenen Kooperation.
Im Rahmen der Kooperation sind seit heute 08:00 MEZ alle CEGH Spot- und
Futuresprodukte für den österreichischen Gasmarkt, einschließlich der für den
österreichischen Regelenergiemarkt verwendeten Produkte, auf PEGAS handelbar.
Des Weiteren sind auch Spread-Produkte zu den Marktgebieten TTF, NCG, GASPOOL
und PSV sowie Trade Registration Services für die CEGH-Futures verfügbar.
Die österreichischen Regelenergiebestimmungen bleiben auch als Bestandteil des
PEGAS-Angebots gültig. Der Betrieb des Virtuellen Handelspunktes (VHP) in
Österreich ist nicht betroffen und liegt auch weiterhin in der Verantwortung der
CEGH AG.
Die Migration beinhaltete die erfolgreiche Migration aller 96 CEGH-Mitglieder zur
Powernext, die nunmehr 231 Mitglieder in insgesamt acht europäischen Märkten zählt.
Das Team der CEGH Gas Exchange wird auch weiterhin der zentrale Ansprechpartner
für die CEGH-Kunden an PEGAS bleiben, während die Mitarbeiter nun zusätzlich zum
Wachstum und zur Entwicklung der Marke PEGAS in Osteuropa beitragen.

PEGAS : Lancement réussi des produits
autrichiens de CEGH Exchange
Vienne, Paris, Leipzig, le 1er décembre 2016. Powernext SA et la société autrichienne
Central European Gas Hub AG (CEGH) annoncent la migration réussie des produits
spot et futures CEGH Gas Exchange vers la plateforme paneuropéenne de négociation
du gaz PEGAS, opérée selon les règles de marché de Powernext. Cette opération
conclut la phase d’implémentation de leur coopération annoncée initialement le 20 juin
2016.
Dans le contexte de cette coopération, tous les contrats spot et futures de CEGH pour
la zone de livraison autrichienne, y compris les produits disponibles pour le marché
d’équilibrage autrichien, peuvent désormais être négociés sur PEGAS depuis 08h00
CET aujourd’hui. Des produits spread avec le TTF, NCG, GASPOOL et PSV sont
également disponibles, ainsi que le service de compensation de gré à gré pour les
instruments futures de PEGAS CEGH.
Les règles autrichiennes d’équilibrage restent les mêmes dans l’offre de PEGAS. La
gestion opérationnelle du « Point virtuel de négociation » (VTP ou Virtual Trading Point)
n’est pas affectée et demeure la responsabilité exclusive de CEGH AG.
La migration a concerné le transfert réussi des 96 membres de CEGH vers Powernext
qui compte désormais 231 membres répartis sur 8 marchés européens. Le personnel
de CEGH Gas Exchange demeurera le point de contact central pour les clients de
CEGH sur PEGAS, tout en contribuant à la croissance et au développement de la
marque PEGAS en Europe de l’Est.
