Geneviève has extensive experience in trademark law, particularly in search opinions, clearances, oppositions and cancellation proceedings, property right
transfers and the negotiation of trademark licensing agreements.

She is also experienced in the drafting of licensing, distribution and subcontracting agreements dealing with all aspects of IT and IT law for clients in
all types of businesses.

She gives advice on IP and IT aspects of transactions, including financing,
mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures.

Geneviève has expertise in website-related matters, including the drafting of disclaimers, terms and conditions, on-line agreements, copyright and
trademark use provisions, as well as policies on the protection of personal
information (privacy).

She advises on the application of the provisions of the Charter of the French
Language in the fields of IP and technology.

She also frequently deals with IP issues for clients such as Groupe Jean Coutu
(PJC) Inc., Doris Hosiery Mills Ltd. (the SECRET product line) and Birks &
Mayors Inc.
