Concepteur de logiciels (Aurora)
Montréal – Santa Maria (Açores)
Le système Aurora d’Adacel est un système de gestion du trafic aérien hautement configurable
conçu pour accroître la sécurité et l’efficacité des opérations de contrôle aérien dans les zones
d’aérodrome, d’approche, en route et océanique qui, depuis l’an 2000, a fait ses preuves en
matière de service opérationnel dans les espaces aériens à travers le monde.
Le système Aurora a été conçu par des contrôleurs aériens et mis en œuvre par une équipe
d’ingénieurs hautement qualifiés. Il est utilisé par plusieurs exploitants nationaux de services de
navigation aérienne comme la Federal Aviation Administration (États-Unis), NAV Portugal
(Portugal), Airways New Zealand (Nouvelle-Zélande), Airports Fiji Limited (Fidji), DGAC
(France), Isavia (Islande) et Avinor (Norvège).
Responsabilités :
 Membre actif de l’équipe d’ingénierie du produit Aurora
 Conception/codage et test de diverses solutions logicielles.
Il est important de noter qu’après un séjour de 6 mois au sein de l’équipe d’ingénierie située à
Montréal, le candidat retenu sera déployé à Santa Maria (Açores) pour une période de deux (2)
ans afin d’assurer la veille technologique du système pour notre client NAV Portugal.
Prérequis :
 Forte expérience en conception de logiciels (Linux);
 Baccalauréat en génie logiciel ou équivalent;
 Forte expérience en C/C++;
 Forte expérience en programmation orientée-objet/modèles de conception.

Atouts additionnels :
 Connaissance de l’outil de gestion de configuration subversion et de la suite d'outils
Atlassian;
 Connaissance du domaine du contrôle aérien;
 Connaissance des langages/standards UML et XML;
 Connaissance de Motif, subversion et les outils Atlassian (JIRA, Crucible, Confluence);
 Programmation par composantes logicielles.
Qualifications additionnelles :
 Capable de travailler au sein d’une petite équipe;
 Capable de concevoir un logiciel de qualité;
 Capable de travailler en français et en anglais (écrit et parlé).

Adacel’s Aurora system is a highly configurable ATM automation system designed to increase
the safety and efficiency of air traffic control operations in the aerodrome, approach, en route and
oceanic areas. Since 2000, Aurora has proven itself in operational service in airspaces around the
world.
Aurora was designed by air traffic controllers and implemented by a team of highly qualified
engineers and is used by several air navigation service providers around the world such as the
Federal Aviation Administration (United States), NAV Portugal (Portugal) , Airways New
Zealand (New Zealand), Airports Fiji Limited (Fiji), DGAC (France), Isavia (Iceland) and Avinor
(Norway).
Responsibilities:
 Provide software design, development and support for Aurora
 Design, coding and testing of various software solutions.
It is important to note that after an internship of 6 months with the engineering team in
Montreal, the successful applicant will be deployed for a period of two (2) years as a Field
Service Representative (FSR) in Santa Maria (Azores) to provide on-site software development
services to NAV Portugal.
Requirements:
 Strong working experience in software development (Linux);
 Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or equivalent;
 Strong working knowledge of advanced C/C++ programming;
 Strong working knowledge of Object-Oriented programming/Design Patterns.
Additionally, the following skills/experiences are preferred:
 Knowledge of air traffic control domain;
 Knowledge of the UML and XML languages;
 Knowledge of component- based software development;
 Working knowledge of subversion and the Atlassian tool suite.
