Chapter 1 : INTRODUCTION
1-1. SUPPLIED EQUIPMENT
• 1 REMOTE KEYPAD (RK8022-T or RK8022).
• 1 Power supply.
• 1 Remote cable (DB9 M/F) 3 m / 10 ft.
• 1 "update" cable (DB9 F/F) 0.9 m / 3 ft.
• 2 white labels: to rename the input selection buttons.
• 1 User's manual.
1-2. GENERAL INFORMATION
The REMOTE KEYPAD is a control device for the CENTRIX™ that enables to drive all their functions from as far as
100 meters (333 feet).
1-3. FRONT PANEL DESCRIPTION

Allows centering the selected image in the centering pattern.

Allows to freeze the MAIN / OUTPUT 1.

INPUT SELECT
1 to 8:
Input source selection.
BLACK:
Black screen selection.
NOTE: The turn ON LED indicates the selected input (displayed on MAIN /OUTPUT 1). The blinking LED
indicates the pre-selected input (displayed on PREVIEW /OUTPUT 2).
TAKE & T-BAR:
Allow switching the pre-selected input (blinking key) on the MAIN output with the
selected EFFECT (EFFECT KEYS).

Chapter 3 : UPDATING THE REMOTE KEYPAD
The REMOTE KEYPAD can be updated thanks a COMPUTER (PC) via its RS-232 communication port only.
3-1. CONNECTIONS
c Connect the "RS-232" connector of the REMOTE KEYPAD to the SERIAL port of your COMPUTER with the
update cable (DB9 M/M crossed cable).
d Connect the power supply of the REMOTE KEYPAD to a power outlet.
3-2. UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS

Open the file "RK8022 Updater" (in Start > Program > ANALOGWAY > RK8022).
In the Port menu select the COM port connected to the device.
Click on "START" on the SOFTWARE.
Press the ENTER button of the RK8022, and connect simultaneously the DC plug of the power supply to the
REMOTE KEYPAD DC-IN connector. The LCD screen displays Downloading, and the upgrade will start. Then you
can release the ENTER button.
g When the software displays "Program operation completed", disconnect the update cable and the DC plug. Then
connect again the DC plug to the RK8022.
h Click on the "Quit" button to close the update SOFTWARE.
NOTE: Your REMOTE KEYPAD is now ready to work.

Chapter 5 : WARRANTY
Analog Way warrants the product against any defects in material and workmanship for a period of three years from the date of
purchase (back to the factory).
In the event of any malfunction during the warranty period, Analog Way will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective
unit, including free material and labor.
This warranty does not apply if the product has been :
- improperly installed or abused,
- handled with improper care,
- used or stocked in abnormal conditions,
- modified, opened,
- damaged by fire, war, or Natural disasters (Acts of God).
In no way shall Analog Way be responsible for direct or indirect loss of profit or consequential damages resulting from any
defect in this product.
In case of any problem, get the serial number of the unit, a description of the problem, and then call your authorized dealer.

Permet de faire apparaître/disparaître les logos de l'entrée sélectionnée.
Réglage de la position (Horizontale et Verticale) des Logos.

Réglage de la position et de la taille du PIP.

Permet d'ajuster l'image dans la mire de cadrage (centering pattern).

INPUT SELECT
1 à 8:
Sélection des entrées.
BLACK:
Sélection de l'écran noir.
NOTE: La LED allumée indique l'entrée sélectionne (affichée sur la sortie MAIN / OUTPUT 1). La LED clignotante
indique l'entrée présélectionnée (affichée sur la sortie PREVIEW / OUTPUT 2).
TAKE & T-BAR: Permettent de commuter l'entrée présélectionnée (touche clignotante) sur la sortie MAIN avec l'effet
sélectionné (EFFECT KEYS).

Le REMOTE KEYPAD peut être mis à jour grâce à un ordinateur (PC) raccordé sur son port de communication RS-232
uniquement.
3-1. CONNECTIONS
c Raccordez le connecteur "RS-232" du REMOTE KEYPAD au port série de votre ordinateur avec le câble update
(câble croisé DB9 M/M).
d Raccordez l'alimentation murale du REMOTE KEYPAD à une prise de courant secteur.
3-2. UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS

Ouvrez le fichier "RK8022 Updater" (Démarrer > Programmes > ANALOGWAY > RK8022).
Dans le menu Port sélectionnez le port COM raccordé à votre appareil.
Cliquez sur le bouton "START" du logiciel.
Appuyez sur le bouton ENTER du RK8022, et raccordez simultanément le connecteur DC de l'alimentation murale au
connecteur DC-IN du REMOTE KEYPAD. L'écran LCD va afficher "Downloading". Le chargement de la mise à jour
commence alors. Vous pouvez alors relâcher le bouton ENTER.
g Lorsque le logiciel affiche "Program operation completed", déconnectez le câble update et le connecteur DC. Puis
raccordez à nouveau le connecteur DC au RK8022.
h Cliquez sur le bouton "QUIT" pour fermer le logiciel de mise à jour.
NOTE: Votre REMOTE KEYPAD est maintenant prêt a fonctionner.

Chapitre 5 : GARANTIE
Analog Way garantie le produit contre les défauts matériels et vices de fabrication, pour une période de 3 ans à partir de la date
d'achat (retour en nos locaux).
En cas de mauvais fonctionnement pendant la période de garantie, Analog Way décidera, à son choix, de réparer ou de
remplacer l'appareil défectueux, incluant gratuité des pièces et de la main d'œuvre.
Cette garantie ne s'applique pas si le produit a été :
- utilisé ou installé en dehors de son cadre de fonctionnement,
- manipulé sans aucune précaution,
- utilisé ou stocké dans des conditions anormales,
- modifié, ouvert,
- endommagé par le feu, guerre ou catastrophes naturelles.
En aucun cas Analog Way ne peut être responsable d'une perte de profit ou de dommages directs ou indirects consécutifs à un
mauvais fonctionnement du produit.
En cas de problème, préparer une description détaillée de la panne, relever le numéro de série de l'appareil, puis contacter votre
revendeur agréé.
