un HFFv2 v1.x.yy v2.0.00

1. OBJET
L’accroissement de la taille de code sur la version 2.0.00 a nécessité une évolution du mapping de la
flash. La conséquence de ce changement de mapping est qu’on ne peut pas directement charger un
nouveau firmware 2.0.00 sur une machine contenant un firmware 1.x.yy. Pour résoudre ce problème, on
va utiliser un firmware spécifique pour faciliter la transition, tout en garantissant la conservation des
paramètres / annuaire / profils. Cette opération nécessite d’avoir une machine supportant la mise à jour à
du logiciel par clé USB.
2. ETAPE 1 : MISE A HAUTEUR DU FIRMWARE POUR SUPPORTER
LE RETROFIT PAR CLE USB
Si la machine contient une version de firmware < 1.5.06, mettre à jour le logiciel avec la version 1.5.08,
puis passer à l’étape 2.
3. ETAPE 2 : UTILISATION DU FIRMWARE DE TRANSITION
Si la machine contient une version de firmware ≥ 1.5.06, on va pouvoir passer en version 2.0.00 grâce au
rétrofit par clé USB.
3.1 PREPARATION DE LA CLE
Extraire le fichier Binaires maj HFFV2 v1.x.yy en v2.0.00.zip (référence 3000383831 R72 000 01) à la
racine de la clé USB. L’extraction génère un répertoire HFXV2 qui contient un répertoire firmware qui
contient les fichiers suivants :
- FW_HFFv2_v1510a-TrS1(CS=F5D2E083_F18D0CF2_6E36C94C_FAE357A0_FFFF3933).bin
- FW_RMDG-HFF_v1999i-TrS2(CS=F5D63892_F167E523_604B0CFA_F92FD560_F0171443_FFFF3613).bin
- FW_RMDG-HFF_v2000_SC_run3(CS=F5D6C51B_F167E523_5F986C49_F919F19F_FFFF3613).bin
- mdgToRmdgSteps.txt, fichier texte qui contient :

3.2 LANCEMENT DE LA MISE A JOUR

Mettre le SOS 39 bit 2 à 1
•
Insérer la clé dans la machine
•
Quand l’analyse de la clé est finie, cliquer sur « Fonctions avancées » puis « Mise à jour du
logiciel »

Cliquer sur « Logiciel »
•
Choisir le fichier FW_HFFv2_v1510a-TrS1 et cliquer sur OK

Si une erreur se produit pendant la mise à jour, un message est affiché à l’écran avec un numéro d’erreur
et la mise à jour est bloquée.

Firmware Update instructions

v1.x.yy to v2.0.00

1. OBJECT
Code size growth on version 2.0.00 has required a Flash memory mapping evolution. As consequence of
this modification, the new v2.0.00 firmware cannot be uploaded directly on a machine having a v1.x.yy
firmware. To solve this issue, a specific firmware package will be used to ease the transition, ensuring
that all parameters, address book and profiles are saved during the upgrade. This operation requires a
firmware supporting a USB Key upgrade and a USB Key.
2. STEP #1: FIRMWARE UPDATE TO SUPPORT UPGRADE THROUGH
USB KEY.
If the machine has a firmware version < v1.5.06, it needs to be upgraded to v 1.5.08 before proceeding to
step #2.
3. STEP #2: UPGRADE THROUGH TRANSITION FIRMWARE
If the machine has firmware version ≥ v1.5.06, then you can proceed to v2.0.00 upgrade through the USB
Key, following these steps:
3.1 USB KEY PREPARATION
Please extract the “Binaires maj HFFV2 v1.x.yy en v2.0.00.zip” package (reference 3000383831 R72 000
01) at the root of the USB Key. Extraction creates automatically an HFXV2 directory, with a firmware
directory filled with the following file:
- FW_HFFv2_v1510a-TrS1(CS=F5D2E083_F18D0CF2_6E36C94C_FAE357A0_FFFF3933).bin
- FW_RMDG-HFF_v1999i-TrS2(CS=F5D63892_F167E523_604B0CFA_F92FD560_F0171443_FFFF3613).bin

3.2 UPGRADE LAUNCH

Set SOS 39 bit 2 to 1

Insert the USB Key in the machine

When the USB Key analysis is finished, click on « ADVANCED FUNCTIONS » and then on
« FIRMWARE UPDATE »

Click on « FIRMWARE »

Choose the FW_HFFv2_v1510a-TrS1file from the list and click on OK
