LILY GERMAIN | lawyer [email protected] PROFESSIONAL TRAINING Ms. Lily Germain holds an LL.B. (law degree) and a B.A. in Political Science from Laval University. She was called to the Bar in 1996. PROFILE Ms. Germain is specialized in business, commercial and employment law. She acts as legal counsel in mergers and acquisitions and venture capital financing. Her practice involves drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements. She also advises clients on securities matters and acts before the regulatory securities authorities with respect to various files. She also advises clients on matters such as non-competition and non-solicitation obligations, transfers of employees in the context of mergers and acquisitions, terminations of employment, termination notices, golden parachutes, drafting of employment agreements and stock option and stock purchase plans. Before joining Morency, Ms. Germain practiced business, securities and employment law at one of the major Canadian law firms for several years.
