supercar Ferrari et frquemment mentionne parmi les voitures les plus spectaculaires de tous les temps, la Ferrari
F40 est dj une icne la naissance. Cette voiture radicale est lance pour clbrer le 40e anniversaire de Ferrari, avec une
production limite 400 exemplaires. Devant la forte demande, ce chiffre passe 1 311 exemplaires produits entre 1987
et 1992, tous en conduite gauche et de teinte Rosso Corsa. Avec son V8 double turbo dveloppant 478 ch et sa
plateforme lgre en carbone, la F40 est la premire voiture de srie franchir la barre des 200 mph (322 km/h). Elle est
aussi la dernire Ferrari conue du vivant d'Enzo Ferrari, "Il Commendatore" s'teignant en aot 1988, un an aprs le
lancement mmorable de la F40. Vingt-sept ans plus tard, la F40 n'a rien perdu de son attrait, comme en tmoigne cet
exemplaire. Vendue en 1991 par le fameux distributeur allemand Auto Becker, Dsseldorf, M. Dieter Wolf, de
Wlfersheim, elle est immatricule FB-D 40 le 31 mai de cette mme anne. Wolf l'utilise assez peu et, trois ans plus tard,
en mai 1994, la confie un agent Ferrari pour la rvision des 10 000 km. En mars 1998, il cde la F40 M. Arnold
Gardemann, prsident du Ferrari Club d'Allemagne. Celui-ci n'en profite pas longtemps car la voiture fait une sortie de
route faible vitesse peu aprs, avec seulement 11 142 km au compteur. Gardemann dcide de la vendre et c'est l que
son actuel propritaire hollandais en fait l'acquisition, au mois de mai 1998. En liaison avec Ferrari Maranello ainsi
qu'avec le concessionnaire Ferrari en Hollande, Kroymans, le distributeur Ferrari Classiche officiel en Hollande
Forza Service remets compltement en tat la F40 sans aucun compromis, ni sur le plan technique, ni sur le plan
financier. Elle reoit cette occasion un compteur de vitesse neuf affichant 7 118 km, modification certifie par Ferrari.
L'ancien compteur accompagne aujourd'hui la voiture. Une fois termine, elle participe plusieurs vnements, dont le
premier en 2003 Baden-Baden pour clbrer le 25e anniversaire du Ferrari Club d' Allemagne, o la voiture retrouve son
prcdent propritaire Arnold Gardemann. Elle est ensuite utilise lors d'autres vnements dont le rallye des 30 ans de la
F40, en 2008, et les "Mille Miglia Ferrari Tribute" en 2010, 2011 et 2012 sur invitation de Ferrari. Paralllement, elle
bnficie de rvisions rgulires chez Kroymans ou Forza Service, dont les factures tmoignent des travaux effectus. En
octobre 2008, cette F40 reoit un certificat de Ferrari Classiche et, lors de sa dernire inspection, en 2011, aucun dfaut
n'a t dtect. Ayant parcouru 27 013 km, elle se prsente en trs bel tat, ayant bnfici avant la vente d'une rvision complte
chez Forza Service. Son nouveau propritaire pourra donc profiter pleinement des sensations offertes par cette
machine hors du commun. LA PENSEE DU SPECIALISTE Problme : nous ne pouvons que regarder cette supercar
comme un mythe pur et simple, qu'un souvenir de nos insomnies d'adolescents, elle est un rve personnifi. Donc tout
commentaire serait trop subjectif ! Dans dix ans, pour les adolescents des annes 80 qui auront les moyens de raliser
leur rve, la demande sera trop forte pour une offre trs limite, surtout pour les beaux exemplaires comme celui-ci

to the sale Often considered to be the last true Ferrari supercar and frequently listed as one of the most spectacular
cars of all time, the Ferrari F40 was born an icon. This radical car was launched to celebrate the 40th anniversary of
Ferrari, with a limited production planned for 400 examples. Faced with strong demand, the number of examples built
between 1987 and 1992 rose to 1,311, all left-hand drive and all painted Rosso Corsa. With a twin-turbo V8 engine
producing 478 bhp set on a lightweight carbon platform, the F40 was the first production car to exceed 200 mph. It
was also the last designed by Ferrari while Enzo Ferrari was alive. " Il Commendatore " died in August 1988, one
year after the unforgettable launch of the F40. Twenty-seven years later, the F40 has lost none of its appeal, as is
clear here with this example. Sold in 1991 by the well-known German distributor, Auto Becker, in Dsseldorf, to a Mr
Dieter Wolf from Wlfersheim, the car was registered FB-D 40 on 31 May of the same year. Wolf used it sparingly
and, three years later, in May 1994, he took the car to a Ferrari agent for its 10,000 km service. In March 1998, he
sold the F40 to Mr Arnold Gardemann, president of the Ferrari Club of Germany. Gardemann didn't have long to
enjoy the car, as it went off the road at low speed shortly afterwards, with just 11,142 km on the odometer.
Gardemann decided to sell it, which is when the current Dutch owner acquired the car, in May 1998. Liaising with
Ferrari Maranello and the Dutch Ferrari dealer, Kroymans, the official Ferrari Classiche distributor in Holland, Forza
Service, completely repaired the car without any technical or financial compromise. It was fitted with a new odometer
set at 7,118 km, a modification certified by Ferrari. The old odometer comes with the car. Once the work was
complete, it took part in several events, the first of which was in 2003 in Baden-Baden, to celebrate the 25th
anniversary of the Ferrari Club of Germany, where the car was reunited with its former owner, Arnold Gardemann. It
was subsequently used on other events including the rally marking 30 years of the F40, in 2008, and the Mille Miglia
Ferrari Tribute in 2010, 2011 and 2012, at the invitation of Ferrari. During this time, the car was serviced regularly by
Kroymans or Forza Service, and there are bills documenting the work carried out. In October 2008, this F40 was
given Ferrari Classiche certification and during its last inspection in 2011, no fault was detected. Having covered
27,013 km, it is presented in superb condition, having benefitted from a full service at Forza Service prior to the sale.
The new owner will therefore be able to experience fully the sensations offered by this extraordinary machine. THE
SPECIALIST'S OPINION Problem : there is no other option than to see this car as an icon, pure and simple, as a
memory from our adolescent daydreams, it is a dream personified ! In ten years, for the adolescents of the '80s who
might have the means to realise their dreams, the demand will be too strong with such a small number on offer,
