L’équipe offre des services spécialisés visant à résoudre les conflits juridiques de ses clients de la manière la plus efficace et accessible possible. Tâches et responsabilités : La personne dont la candidature sera retenue travaillera auprès d’une équipe d’avocates et d’avocats, de stagiaires et d’autres professionnels qui œuvrent dans les deux langues officielles (français et anglais), mais principalement en français, dans une panoplie de domaines. Les fonctions principales de la personne dont la candidature sera retenue seront, notamment : - l’administration et l’organisation du bureau de Vancouver – la réception et la transmission de messages de clients et d’autres personnes, la rédaction de toutes sortes de correspondance, la traduction de textes simples, la coordination d’envois par la poste régulière et par service de messagerie, la commande de fournitures de bureau, collaboration administrative avec le bureau d’Ottawa, ainsi que d’autres tâches ponctuelles de nature administrative ; - un appui ponctuel pour la préparation, la révision, l’impression et l’organisation de documents, la dactylographie, les livraisons d’urgences notamment à la cour, ainsi que d’autres tâches ponctuelles variées mais importantes ; - travailler en collaboration étroite avec le personnel et avocats du bureau d’Ottawa. OTTAWA – VANCOUVER – MONCTON Les fonctions de la personne dont la candidature sera retenue pourraient varier en fonction de son expérience de travail et de ses intérêts. La candidate ou le candidat idéal serait capable de travailler certaines heures supplémentaires de temps à autres, selon les besoins de l’équipe. Langues : - Maîtrise parfaite du français, tant à l’écrit qu’à l’oral. - Bonnes compétences en anglais, tant à l’écrit qu’à l’oral. Qualifications : - Expérience dans le domaine administratif en général ; - Grand sens de l’organisation et une attention minutieuse aux détails ; - Avoir la capacité de bien travailler à la fois de manière autonome et au sein d’une équipe dont plusieurs membres sont ailleurs (à Ottawa) et dans un autre fuseau horaire ; - Avoir la capacité de travailler sous pression, dans un environnement exigeant, avec des priorités variables et souvent concurrentes ; et - Bonne connaissance de logiciels de base tels que Word, Outlook et Excel. Une expérience dans le domaine juridique serait un atout. Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will work with a team of lawyers, students, and other professionals that practice in both official languages (French and English), but primarily in French, in a vast array of practice areas. The general duties for this position will include: - Office administration and organization - receiving and responding to messages from clients and others, drafting all types of correspondence, basic text translation, sending and receiving regular mail and courier, ordering office supplies, coordinating with the Ottawa office, as well as other general administrative tasks; - Occasional administrative legal support such as preparating, revising, printing and organizating records, typing, urgent deliveries to the courthouse, as well as other general varied but essential support tasks; and - Working collaboratively with lawyers and staff in the Ottawa office. OTTAWA – VANCOUVER – MONCTON The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate may vary depending on the successful candidate’s experience and interests. Ideally, the successful candidate will be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule with some overtime, depending on the team’s needs.
