Career Prospects
The traditional work sectors (electricity, electronics, electrical
accessories and instruments, the production and transport of
energy, telecommunication, manufacturing and processing
industries) have grown thanks to the multiplication of
applications for electricity and computers. Given the
widespread uses of electronics, electrical engineering and
industrial computing, the skills provided to Electrical Engineering
and Automation graduates are sought in very diverse fields:

Aeronautics and Space Engineering,

Microelectronics industry,

Health,

Transportation and automotive sectors,

Food processing and agro-industries,

Computer and communication technology

Energy Management and Technical Sales
More specific job titles:
Methods technician, Research manager, Test manager,
manufacturing team manager, maintenance coordinator,
developer
production/design
engineering,
automation
electronics technician, process specialist, industrial computing
& more
Teaching Methods
Practical and experimental skills are developed through project
work and laboratory exercises. Design skills are developed
through course work exercises supported by the use of the
relevant computational packages.
Practical skills are tested and assessed throughout the
programme using a combination of coursework assignments,
design studies, laboratory logbooks and project reports and/or
papers.
