Wayne became close with Gary and soon began taking on tuning duties as well as helping with Gary’s race program. This arrangement took place during six of Gary’s seven
championships. In 1990, During one of Wayne and Gary’s races together, Gary experienced a catastrophic clutch failure. The clutch basket and related parts looked as
though a bomb had went off inside the engine. With another championship on the line,
there was simply no room for this to happen again. Wayne, recognizing the need for
indestructible clutch parts, began working on the first ever “Billet Proof” Hinson clutch
products. Needless to say, Gary went on to win the championship that season with no
more clutch trouble.
Now, 15 years after Gary’s “Billet Proof” clutch, and many other champions, you too
can get your hands on the same craftsmanship and technology that was previously
only available to factory race teams. Every Hinson product is tried and tested by all of
the top factory teams under actual race conditions. If they have stood atop a Victory
Podium, chances are... there is a Hinson clutch in their bike.

LA TECHNOLOGIE
En 1992, Wayne Hinson a débuté un patrimoine qui a inspiré une nouvelle génération de
pièces de motocyclettes hors route et de VTTs en fixant le standard tellement haut que
les autres manufacturiers de pièces ont mordu la poussière. Le trajet a commencé à la
fin des années 80 quand Wayne a décidé d’aider un ami dans ses efforts de course de
VTT. Cette relation a ouvert la porte aux deux fils de Wayne, Ron et Bryan, pour commencer eux-mêmes une carrière de pilote de VTT. Comme la famille Hinson devenait
de plus en plus sérieuse quant à la course, Wayne a fait la rencontre d’un autre coureur
du nom de Gary Denton et les deux sont rapidement devenus liés.
Wayne est devenu ami avec Gary et rapidement commença à prendre en charge les tâches de mise au point ainsi que d’aider au niveau du programme de course de Gary. Cet
arrangement a eu lieu pendant six des sept années de championnat de Gary. En 1990,
durant une des courses de Wayne et de Gary ensemble, Gary a éprouvé une défaillance

In 1992 Wayne Hinson began a legacy that inspired a new generation of off-road motorcycle and ATV parts by setting the standard so high, it left other parts manufacturers scrambling to catch up. The journey began in the late 80’s when Wayne decided
to help a friend in his ATV racing efforts. This relationship opened the door for Wayne’s
two sons, Ron and Bryan, to begin an ATV racing career of their own. As the Hinson
Family became more serious about racing Wayne met another competitor by the name
of Gary Denton and the two quickly connected.
