Dear Brewmaster or Marketing Director,
Your brewery has been chosen to participate in the first edition of the Mondial de la bière in Strasbourg, France. The Mondial de la bière,
Strasbourg — Europe will take place on OCTOBER 16-17 and 18th, in the city of Strasbourg. This new Mondial de la bière is the European
version of the greatest festival of international beers in North America : the Mondial de la bière of Montreal.
In 2009, during the Mondial’s 16th edition, the event was visited by more than 80,000 people who participated in tasting sessions,
workshops, and shows. Since 1994, the festival has been offering a combination of locally brewed beers and beers from around the
world. The two Mondial de la bière festivals provide you with with an excellent opportunity to exhibit and promote your products to a
local and international clientele in a dynamic and festive atmosphere.
THE “PUB IMPORTS DU MONDE” is the pavilion where your products will be showcased.
In order to present your products during the event, you will need to sell or donate your beer to the The Mondial de la bière, Strasbourg
— Europe. We need approximatively 120 bottles or more per product (12 oz., 33 cl. or 341 ml or other).
To place our order we would need to receive a preliminary list of your beers before September 4th, 2009 (Fax: 00 33 (0) 388 373 795 or
[email protected]) including: -the name of the product - the percentage of alcohol - the exportation price (FCA) per
product (bottle) in your currency - the quantity (ounces, centiliters or milliliters) per bottle and the number of bottles per case.
Note that even if you donate your beer, we must have the price to calculate the taxes to be paid.
Ideally and with your permission, we would like to register one or more of your beers to the MBeer professional contest. If you donate
your beers, your registration fees for the professional contest will be covered. If you sell us your beers, you will have to pay the
registration fees.
The MBeer Europe contest registration form will be sent to you as soon as you will have confirmed your participation to the Mondial de
la bière, Strasbourg — Europe.
The Mondial de la bière will firstly confirm which beers it will buy or accept as a donation and then you will need to complete the final
LIST OF PRODUCTS (see joint sheet).
You will subsequently (depending if the beers are sold or donated) emit an official invoice (before tax if you are not registered to the
French tax) made out to Strasbourg Événements who will thereafter send an official product order form to confirm which products it will
purchase/accept.
You must acknoledge, sign and return Strasbourg Événements’ purchase order form and send it by fax 00 33 (0) 388 373 795 or email
to: [email protected] after making sure that all the information is accurate.
After receiving the confirmation of acceptance/purchase of your beers, you will have to complete the “Pub Imports du Monde”
registration form (before August 28th, 2009) and send your payment (We accept checks in euros as well as credit card or bank
transfers).
STRASBOURG ÉVÉNEMENTS WILL PAY YOU DIRECTLY FOR THE BEER, 60 DAYS AFTER RECEIVING THE DELIVERY IN STRASBOUG.

the Antwerp port in Belgium).

For your business, if you donate your beer, the costs incurred are the local customs charges for the authorization to export your products
(usually no fees, please inform yourself), the costs of the handling and loading of your products in the conveyor truck and the
registration fees to the Mondial de la bière - See “THE PUB IMPORTS DU MONDE” registration form.
For your business, if you sell your beer, you will need to cover all transport fees, as well as all the local customs charges for the
authorization to export your products (usually no fees, please inform yourself), the costs of the handling and loading of your products in

TAKE NOTE: If you want to send promotional objects and/or advertisement, you must notify the Mondial de la bière. YOU WILL HAVE
TO DESCRIBE AND INVENTORY ALL ITEMS, FOR CUSTOMS REASONS AND SEND IT WITH THE BEER. THANK YOU !
We need the following information to be printed out on your letterhead and to be signed (see LIST OF PRODUCTS attached). Please
return by fax at 00 33 (0) 388 373 795 before September 4th, 2009.
The brewery will give the transportation company the following information :
- A commercial invoice of the total value (Bill STRASBOURG-ÉVÉNEMENTS and make reference to the Mondial de la bière)
- Description of product (alocohol by volume, expiry date, see product list)
- The size (volume in oz., cl. ml.)
- Product value per case
- Number of cases
- Exportation documents — If needed, inquire with a customs broker of your region or contact Mondia:

Product Identification:
- Concerning the labels: we will take care of apposing labels and stickers to your bottles that will be sold in the boutique, example:
(warnings for pregnant women, recycling and others) to be in compliance with the French legislation.
The Mondial de la bière’s personnel will serve samples of your products to its clientele in exchange for coupons valued at €0.70 (Euro).
The money received will go to meet expenses like: the cost of beer, transportation, booth rental and staff wages.
