Ekaterina is a student at Samara State University in Russia and has also attended the University of Idaho as an exchange
student. She has been involved in Make a Difference Day, Kids on Campus, Vandal Tables, the Women’s Center at the
University of Idaho, and she was a leading manager at the Delphic Games in Russia.
Ekaterina received the Global UGRAD Scholarship to study in the United States, and she won the University of Idaho
Student Award for Leadership and Volunteer Achievements in 2011. This year Ekaterina also got involved in the Vagina
Monologues, a project run by the Women’s Centre on Campus, aimed at promoting gender equity and awareness. She is
also part of the LEADS Club, Ecological Youth Organization, and Young Leaders Organization.
Ekaterina wants to start her own educational campaign to empower young women in Russia and live in a society where
her rights are valued and her voice is heard.

Ekaterina souhaite démarrer une campagne éducative pour renforcer l’autonomie des jeunes femmes de la Russie, et
vivre dans une société où ses droits sont estimés et où sa voix est entendue.
