The
École
Centrale
Paris
announced
on
October
7,
2011
the
nomination
of
Hervé
Biausser,
the
Director
of
the
School,
as
the
new
President
of
the
Top
Industrial
Managers
for
Europe
Association
(T.I.M.E.).
Hervé
Biausser
succeeds
Javier
Uceda,
Rector
of
the
Universidad
Politecnica
of
Madrid,
for
a
2‐year
mandate.
The
T.I.M.E.
Association
was
founded
in
1989
by
the
École
Centrale
Paris
and
15
other
European
Universities
of
excellence.
The
principal
activity
of
T.I.M.E.
is
double‐degree
student
exchanges.
Its
objective
is
to
train
multicultural
engineers,
perfectly
adapted
to
the
international
careers
offered
by
companies.

and

assume
the
presidency
of
this
network
of
very
prestigious
institutions
in
which
the
École
Centrale
has
always
considerably
invested
and
which
is
one
of
the
pillars
of
our
international
development”
said
Hervé
Biausser,
adding
“we

defined
a
road
map
to
accompany
the
Association
in
a
new
phase
of
development;
notably
for
the
launch
of
doctorates
under
the
T.I.M.E.
label
and
the
pursuit
of
our
opening
up
to
partners
outside
Europe.
T.I.M.E.
must
also
position
itself
as
a
space
for
projects
in
the
field
of
international
pedagogy”.
Today,
T.I.M.E.
has
53
members
in
Europe,
Asia
and
South
America.
3500
students
have
benefited
from
T.I.M.E.
double‐degree
agreements
since
1989.
