Dominique Lafon has excelled since taking over the family domaine in the early 1980s. Jules Lafon, his great-grandfather,
founded La Paulée in 1923; this Burgundian harvest festival continues, becoming ever more popular. Dominique farms his
prized low-yielding vineyards with care, utilizing biodynamic techniques. His wines from top vineyards like Meursault Perrières
and Montrachet are among the best white wines produced in the world.

Our history with Christophe Roumier goes back to the early 1990s and restaurant Montrachet, where he participated, along
with Dominique Lafon, in many spectacular wine dinners. Back then, Christophe’s wines were sought after by only a few in
the know, but now he is a celebrity among winemakers. He took over from his father in 1981 and owns great parcels in
Burgundy’s best vineyards, including Musigny, Bonnes Mares, Chambolle Musigny ‘Les Cras’ and Morey St. Denis ‘Clos de la
Bussière.’ Ele g a nt and age-worthy, these expressions of Pinot Noir are truly special.
