STAY FOR ONE NIGHT OR MORE AND YOUR SKI DAY COSTS ONLY CHF 20.- !
Staying with one of our registered accomodation partners for a minimum of one night means your Villars-Gryon Diablerets ski day will cost you only CHF 20.- (valid for each night’s stay, and Glacier 3000 is
included if your stay is for two nights or longer). This offer applies to associated accomodation of all categories in Villars and Les Diablerets. Conditions : Valid from the 9th of January to the 3rd of February, and from
the 6th of March to the 17th of April 2017. It is valid only for individual clients reserving their stay through our
tourist offices, or directly with our registered accomodation partners.
THE VILLARS – LES DIABLERETS LINK NOW TAKES HALF THE TIME !
Good news for skiers ! Until now 3 different ski-lifts were necessary to traverse from the Villars ski area
across to Les Diablerets. From this coming winter two new high speed chair lifts will replace the exisiting
three lifts speeding up access between the ski areas of Villars and Les Diablerets and allowing skiers to
make more efficient use of their time on the snow.
NEW INDOOR CLIMBING WALLS
Climbing enthusiasts have always appreciated our area for it’s variety of natural outdoor climbing environment. From this autumn climbing enthusiasts will be able to practice their skills indoors year round. In Villars
there is a new 45m2 climbing wall next to the Sports’ Centre, and in Les Diablerets there is our new 150m2
indoor climbing area, ‘’Horizon’t’halle.’’
NEW FATBIKE PISTE IN VILLARS BRETAYE
This coming winter sees a new fatbike piste open, linking the summit of the ski area to Villars village, with
600 metres of a downhill drop and 4000 metres of riding pleasure for all bike enthusiasts ! Once a week
there will be a fondue evening organised, followed by an accompanied descent to experience this marvellous facility at night.
SKI, AND LEAVE AT THE END OF THE DAY WITH A FILM OF YOUR EXPLOITS !
Star in your own film while enjoying your ski day with this new and unusual offer for the coming winter.
Choose a part of the ski area – slalom piste, skicross piste, kindergarten or snow parc – and be filmed by a
drone. Then leave at the end of the day with proof of your exploits !!
IN VILLARS, A NEW STAR IS BORN
Chef Alain Montigny of the Chalet Royalp and Spa received a number of prestigous awards In October, including a Michelin Guide Star, and 16 points in Gault & Millau. In addition, Gregory Halgand, Alain’s assistant,
won 3rd place in the Swiss section of Taittingers’ prestigious 2016 cooking competition.
SKI & SNOW FIESTA
In order to help you to make the most of the last weeks of the winter season, from the 1st to the 17th of April
Villars-Gryon and Les Diablerets are putting together a rich and original end of season programme. This is your
opportunity to combine a warm party atmosphere with some wonderful spring skiing and sunny après-ski.
With concerts from DJ’s and musiciens to entertain you, along with a variety of different original activities on
the pistes and in resort. Many different offers will be in place to welcome you to the end of our winter !
