The Charroi de Nîmes: Some Recent Scholarship
The publication in quick succession of a number of editions and
translations of the Charroi de Nîmes and the concordance to the text by G.
de Poerck and others has stimulated interest in this important epic. The
following bibliographical note, which covers principally the period 197075, brings together reviews and studies relating to the Charroi and aims in
particular at supplementing the bibliography found in the edition of the
text by Duncan McMillan.

A colloque of the Centre Universitaire d'Etudes et de Recherches
Médiévales d'Aix took place in March 1976 and was devoted to "Le Voyage
dans la vie et la littérature du Moyen Age." The Actes of this meeting are
now in print under the title Voyage, Quête, Pèlerinage dans la littérature
et la civilisation médiévales, Senefiance No. 2, 494 pp., ISBN 2-901104-010. Of particular interest to medieval Romance epic studies are articles by
Bernard Guidot (Université de Nancy), "Le Thème du voyage dans les Enfances
