Deux étudiantes cinéastes du Lycée Bonaparte de Doha nominée pour un Award international
Le film « Hope » de Morgane Korady et Anastasia
Boucherima a récemment été nominé pour un Award
au THIMUN Qatar Northwestern Film Festival qui a
lieu tous les ans à Doha. Le THIMUN Qatar
Northwestern University Film Festival attire de jeunes
cinéastes du monde entier. Les films constituent une
interface pour les jeunes, afin de créer des films qui
témoignent de problèmes locaux ou mondiaux. Le film
de Morgane et Anastasia porte sur l’histoire
émouvante de Marine, 30 ans, quand elle découvrit à
l’âge de 26 ans qu’elle avait le cancer du sein. Elle nous
raconte les difficultés qu’elle a rencontrées lors des
traitements et la façon avec laquelle elle s’est battue
durant toute cette période.
« Notre principal challenge dans la conception de ce
film a été le montage puisque c’est notre 1er film et
que nous n’y connaissions pas grand-chose. Alors le fait
d’avoir été nominées pour le son a été une très grande
joie pour nous. »
Le Festival a lieu cette année du 24 au 26 Mars 2016.

Lycee Bonaparte de Doha students film makers nominated for major international award.
Morgane Korady and Anastasia Boucherima’s film titled “Hope” was recently nominated for award at the THIMUN
Qatar Northwestern Film Festival held annually in Doha, Qatar. The THIMUN Qatar Northwestern University Film
Festival attracts young film makers from around the world. The films serve as a platform for young people to create
advocacy films on local or global issues. Morgane and Anastasia’s film covers the emotional story of Marine, 30 years
old, when she discovered at 26 years old that she had breast cancer. She tells us about how difficult was the treatments
and how she fought throughout this period.
“Our main challenge in the conception of this movie was the editing part as it is our first movie and we didn’t know
much about editing. So the fact to be nominated for the sound has been a very big enjoyment for us !”
This year’s festival will be held from March 24-26, 2016.
