HYP-S-G2 has been developed primarily as an Calcium Sulphate antiscalant for use in
Reverse Osmosis and Nano-Filtration membrane systems
• effective against all common scaling species, particularly Calcium Sulphate and Calcium
Carbonate.

Material Compatibility
Solutions of HYP-S-G2 are not corrosive to carbon steel.
HYP-S-G2 in use
• By inhibiting all scaling species, HYP-S-G2 will allow OEMs to design systems that
operate with high rates of recovery. This offers significant cost benefits by reducing the
volumes of feed water and concentrate used and reduce the chemicals needed for
treatment.
• The strong threshold properties that HYP-S-G2 exhibits against Calcium Sulphate and
Calcium Carbonate enable membrane systems to be operated at their optimum
recovery rate.
• HYP-S-G2 must be dosed continuously to the feed water, either as the concentrated
product or diluted with permeate water.
• Feed-water dose rates of 3-5 mg/L are typical.
