ONE FESTIVAL
This year IDAL will be supporting the screening and participation of Lebanese movies at the Film
Market as well as sponsoring the participation of Lebanese filmmakers in Workshops held during
Cannes Film Festival in its 69th edition held between May 11th and May 22nd, 2016.
We would like to emphasize on these major events that will surely hold your attention:
1. Participation in the Producer’s Workshop by the producer Diala Kashmar
From May 11th till May 19th - Marché du Film
2. Participation in the Producer’s Network by the producer Lucien Bou Chaaya
From May 12th till May 18th - Marché du Film
3. Screening of “Pretty Bourgeois Dream” directed by Mazen Khaled and produced by Carole Abboud
On May 13th at 11:30 A.M at Gray 4 – Marché du Film
4. Screening of “Solitaire ou Mahbas” directed by Sophie Boutros and produced by Nadia Eliwat
On May 14th at 9:30 A.M at Palais H - Marché du Film
5. Cocktail-Reception for around 100 persons (Distributors, Producers, Festivals, Sales Agents)
On May 15th at 4:30 P.M at “La Plage des Palmes”
6. Screening of Movies in –Progress “Lebanon Goes to Cannes”
“Tombe du Ciel” by Wissam Charaf
“One of these days” by Nadim Tabet
“Beirut Terminus” by Elie Kamel
“Room for a man” by Anthony Chidiac
“ELEELE” by Soula Saad
On May 16th from 2:00 till 4:00 P.M at Palais I - Marché du Film
7. Screening of “ Nuts” directed by Tarek Sikias and produced by Henri Barges
On May 17th at 9:30 A.M at Palais H - Marché du Film
8. Sponsoring Lebanese Soirée which is an event that brings together all Lebanese stakeholders in the
film industry. This event will shed the light on the 3 Lebanese movies that have been selected at Cannes
Film Festival 2016
On May 18th at 10:00 P.M at “Plage de l’Annexe - 52 Boulevard de la Croisette facing Carlton”
9. Screening of “ Listen” directed by Philippe Aractanji
On May 18th at 10:00 A.M at Gray 4 – Marché du Film
