The ranking of Graves and Pessac Léognan
Classification of Graves and Pessac Léognan
As the classification of 1855 didn’t involve the wines from Pessac-Léognan and
Graves (except Haut-Brion) a wine Union decided to establish a classification of
the wines of these appellations in 1959. This classification involves the red and
white wines. All are from Pessac-Léognan.
Just like the classification of 1855 this ranking never changes in time. In
all 16 estates are ranked.
