Conference Information: 47th ACH Annual Meeting, Nassau, Bahamas, 2015
The 47th Annual Conference of the Association of Caribbean Historians will be held in Nassau,
Bahamas, from Sunday, May 17, to Friday, May 22, 2015. Registration will open mid-day on Sunday,
and sessions begin later that afternoon. The conference fête--our annual dinner/dance and a central
feature of this organization--is Thursday evening, May 21, and an optional field trip to nearby Clifton
National Park, historically important as the site of both Lucayan Indian and African slave habitation,
is scheduled for Friday, May 22. Other receptions are scheduled on evenings through the week.
Please make your travel plans accordingly.

La 47e conférence annuelle de l'Association of Caribbean Historians se tiendra à Nassau, aux
Bahamas, du dimanche 17 mai au vendredi 22 mai 2015. L'inscription débutera le dimanche, à midi,
et les séances commenceront plus tard dans l'après-midi. La conférence fête, notre diner-bal annuel,
pivot central de cet événement, se tiendra le jeudi 21 mai, au soir, et une visite facultative des
environs du Clifton National Park, site tout aussi historique que les habitations des indiens Lucayens
et des esclaves africains visibles à proximité, est prévue le vendredi 22 mai. D'autres réceptions sont
prévues chaque soir de la semaine. Veuillez organiser votre voyage en conséquence.
