My work portrays contemporary urban lifestyle
from a glossy spontaneous , unpretentious but
very voyeuristic angle. The pictures have a strong
iconic feel yet in their combination they make
us aware of how the overflow of daily images
changes the pattern of the way we see things,
and how many things we don’t see because we
can simply not absorb them all.
The pictures have a heroic feel to them. if you
take a second look at my works they mostly hide
lots of intriguing details of the contradiction
that a capitalist world can produce. From chic to
trash, I am often being trapped in my images, as
if it was a hidden excuse to come to solutions to
my own existence. This produces a very unique
21 century pop.
I want the pics to
catch
your attention
immediatly but I know that if you look at them
for a longer period of time you will find some
hidden message and meanings to be revealed.
You can also tell that I loved Roy Lichtenstein,
met Warhol and produced pop music in one
of my other careers. The pictures reveal these
informations.
Trash seen in the right way and be “très chic!“.
I would prefer to have my works hanging on
the big billboards of big citys but as it is too
expensive to book this billboards a museum a
gallery or a wall in someones private home is the
second best choice. I guess that makes me a
street artist without a street !!!

Mon oeuvre dépeint un style de vie urbain
et contemporain d’un point de vue très
voyeuristique bien que brillant, spontané et sans
prétention à première vue. Les photos ont une
valeur iconographique forte et cette combinaison
nous ouvre les yeux sur notre manière de voir les
choses, une manière qui varie en fonction du flux
d‘images quotidiens, et de la quantité de choses
qu’on ne voit pas simplement parce que nos
yeux sont incapables de les “absorber“.
Les photos dévoilent un certain sentiment
d’héroisme. Un deuxième regard révèle
beaucoup de détails intrigant de contradiction
mais qu’un monde capitaliste pourrait produire.
Du chic au trash, je me suis souvent vu piégé
par mes oeuvres et cela doit certainement être
une excuse inconsciente pour résoudre certains
problèmes existentiels. Le résultat est un Pop du
21ème siècle très unique.
Je voudrais que les photos attirent et retiennent
votre attention immédiatement, mais je sais que
si vous les regardez un peu plus longuement
vous trouverez des messages dissimulés et un
sens qui leur est propre.
Vous devinerez que j’aime Roy Lichtenstein, que
j’ai rencontré Warhol et que j’ai produit de la
musique pop dans le passé. Mes photos révèlent
en effet ces informations.
Le trash vu sous le bon angle peut être très chic.
Je préfèrerais voir mes oeuvres accrochées sur
les panneaux d’affichage des grandes villes.
Mais cela revient très cher et donc un musée,
une gallerie d’art ou les murs d’un appartement
restent les meilleurs seconds choix. C’est comme
si j’étais un artiste de rue, mais sans rue!!!
