Indicators in the field of health and well
The Macroscope Indicators in the field of health and well-being Elementary school students Authors : Carmen Bellerose, Planning, Programming and Research Officer, Populational Health Monitoring Sector Dominique Gagnon, Planning, Programming and Research Officer, Prevention-Promotion Sector This Macroscope tool offers a number of health and well-being indicators that can be useful in documenting basic needs and key factors for the development of young people involved in the Health School program. This tool can help you analyse the situation. Most of the data comes from surveys on health and its determinants carried out among children and adolescents in Quebec (or the Montérégie when specified). The data is presented according to grade or age, depending on its availability. Variations in the results according to gender are mentioned when applicable. The following table is obviously extremely brief. The reader is invited to consult the reference documents for more details concerning the concepts, definitions, detailed analyses and other topics covered in these reports. We also suggest you add to this quantitative data using other sources of information.
