Trois associations LGBT à caractère culturel et spirituel – juive, chrétienne, musulmane –
se réunissent pour un voyage de rencontre et de dialogue en Israël et Palestine
Du 6 au 13 novembre 2011, les associations BEIT HAVERIM (Groupe Juif Gay et Lesbien de France), DAVID &
JONATHAN (Mouvement Homosexuel Chrétien) et HM2F (Collectif citoyen des Homosexuel-les Musulman-es de
France), organisent un voyage en Israël et Palestine.
Ce voyage historique – une première mondiale car jamais effectué par des Musulmans, des Juifs et des Chrétiens à
la fois – sera à l’avant-garde d’un dialogue entre les spiritualités, dans un souci de réciprocité, et de solidarité avec
les mouvements LGBT locaux.
Les trois associations se sont dites honorées du soutien de Bertrand Delanoë, Maire de Paris. Elles remercient
Pierre Schapira, Adjoint au Maire de Paris, chargé des relations internationales, des affaires européennes et de la
ème
francophonie, et Rémi Féraud, Maire du 10
arrondissement, pour leur présence à la conférence de presse du
vendredi 14 octobre à l'Hôtel de Ville.
Au delà de ce soutien, les trois associations revendiquent une démarche indépendante des partis politiques (en
France comme en Israël et en Palestine), des autorités religieuses, de toute subvention publique ou privée, de toute
forme d'idéologie. Ce voyage a d’ailleurs été totalement financé sur les fonds propres des trois associations et de
leurs adhérent-e-s.

Three associations LGBT, cultural and spiritual
- Jewish, Christian, Muslim meet on a journey of encounter and dialogue in Israel and Palestine
From the 6th to 13th November 2011, the associations BEIT Haverim (Jewish Gay and Lesbian Group of France),
David & Jonathan (Gay Christian Movement) and HM2F (Citizen network of the Gay Muslims of France), are
organizing a trip to Israel and Palestine.
This historic journey - a world premiere since never undertaken by Muslims, Jews and Christians all together - will be
at the forefront of dialogue between spirituality, for the sake of reciprocity, and solidarity with the local LGBT
movements.
The three associations said they were honored with the support of Bertrand Delanoë, Mayor of Paris. They thank
Pierre Schapira, Deputy Mayor of Paris, in charge of International Affairs, European Affairs and Francophonia ; and
Remi Feraud, Mayor of the 10th arrondissement of Paris, for attending the press conference Friday, October 14th at
the City Hall.
Beyond this support, the three associations claimed a process independent from any political parties (in France, Israel
and Palestine), religious authorities, any public or private subsidies, any form of ideology. This trip has also been fully
funded on the funds of the three associations and their members.
