Flaming Cliffs was made in Windows XP era and thereafter doesn't support Windows 7. We
did not make a patch. There are too many features were implemented in our simulation
engine in 4 years. So we made Flaming Cliffs 2 as the general update. The details are

Nevertheless there is one unofficial method, our users on the forum have found it. You
may follow it at your own peril only.
1. User Acc ount Control should be set to "Never notify me" for the moment of the first
launc h of Flaming Cliffs:

2. Install patch 1.12b:

3. Launch the game. StarForce window should pop up asking your permission to install the
drivers. Agree to that. After the drivers are installed reboot Windows.
4. After rebooting "driver inc ompatible" message appears. Ignore it and update StarForce
drivers (see item 2: "Versions before 5.5"):

5. Reboot Windows.
6. The first launc h of FC should be done as Administrator via right-click menu on
lockon.bat (it's in the root of FC installation).
Please excuse us for a delay. We are overloaded currently due to an approach to the
release dead line.
