Seminar: Political Economy of Trade Policy
Heinrich Ursprung and Bertrand Koebel Fall 2011 Academic Writing Workshop 22th – 25th November 2011, University of Strasbourg The workshop is restricted to 12 doctoral students, 6 from the University of Konstanz and 6 from the Université de Strasbourg. The Université Franco-Allemande will bear the travel and accommodation costs for the participants from Konstanz and Strasbourg. The objective of the workshop is to improve the participants’ academic writing skills. In the course of the workshop the participants will revise a first draft of a paper and prepare it for submission to a journal. The instruction will be “hands on”, i.e. in interaction with the instructors the participants will analyze manuscripts and published work in order to gain a better appreciation of good professional writing in economics.
