TBTWMUHF est un groupe de post-rock français basé entre Dijon, Lyon & Annecy.
L’idée majeure de cette formation est de transmettre une vision positive et optimiste de la musique instrumentale
mélodique, où le chant laisse la place à la puissance des changements d’intensité qu’offre ce genre.
Chaque composition est alors pensée à partir d’histoires réelles issues de faits divers
remaniés selon cette vision positive imposée par le groupe.
Les visuels proposés en live invitent alors à partir à la recherche de ces récits,
laissant libre court à l’imagination du spectacteur.

Not only that this band has one of the
most beautiful bandnames in a long time,
THE BEAUTY THE WORLD MAKES US HOPE
FOR also create wonderful instrumental
music that is located somewhere between
ambient tunes and postrock sounds. In
April we saw the band at this year’s
Dunk!Festival in Belgium at deeply fell in
love with them. Now they released their
new EP, which got the simple title A. A
complex and wonderful bandname vs. a
simple album title that can be interpreted
in a lot of ways – it’s up to you.

Lachen statt weinen, hoffen statt zweifeln. Trotz aller Krisen, Ungerechtigkeiten,
sozialen Verwerfungen und Zerstörungen
ist ist dieser fucking blaue Planet zumindest hin und wieder ein lebenswerter
Ort. Die (verbleibende) Schönheit der
Welt läßt uns hoffen das wir halbwegs die
Kurve kriegen.
Jetzt wird es richtig schön. Instrumentaler Post-Rock der sich unendlich viel Zeit
nimmt, Zeit zum träumen, Wurzeln schlagen, zurücklehnen, womöglich noch mehr.

The Beauty The World Makes Us Hope For
(TBTWMUHF) consists by four musicians
who are willing to share the composition
of music expressing emotions, instinct
and sincerity. Originally from Annecy,
the group formed in 2009 and consists
of two guitarists, Peter V. and Anthony
H., tempting an invitation to travel and
personal interpretation - and a drummer,
Lauriane S., whose intention is to advance
the time . In 2011 the change in the
back of the drum kit with Cedric and the
arrival of bassist Quentin reinforces the
spirit of the group...
