Les recompenses regionales de la branche du
GEM et Ie prix national du Conseiller de la branche
permettront encore cette annee de reconnaitre les
realisations importantes et la performance de ses
membres.

This year the Branch will continue to recognize
outstanding achievement and performance through the
EME Branch Advisor's Regional and National Awards.
2.
Un comite etabli annuellement dans chacune des
regions, choisira les recipiendaires de la recompense
regionale. II revient au Representant Principal de la
Region dans chaque region de gerer Ie programme de
recompense regional. Les recipiendaires peuvent etre
membres de la Force reguliere ou de la reserve de la
branche du GEM, un employe civil associe au GEM, une
unite ou une sous-unite.
2.
An annually established Board within each of the
Regions will select their respective Regional Award
- winners. It is the responsibility of the Senior RegionalRepresentative in each Region to manage and advertise the
Regional Awards Program. Recipients of the awards can be
a Regular or Reserve military member of the EME Branch,
an associated civilian employee, a unit or sub-unit.

You will find enclosed the Award guidelines and
criteria to be used for this year's Regional Award's
Selection Boards.

A l'issue de la selection par les comites regionaux,
chaque region doit envoyer Ie dossier de leur gagnant
respectif Ii l'OEM GEM / DEMPET 4-5-2 en vue de la
selection duprix national. Les dossiers doivent parvenirau
present QG d'ici Ie 1 avril 2013.

Upon completion of the Regional Boards, each
Region is to forward their respective winner's file to
SO EME / DLEPS 4-5-2 to enable the conduct the National
Award Board. Your submissions are required to this HQ
by 01 April 2013.

Pour 2013, la somme remise aux recipiendaires
regionaux sera de 200$ et un 500$ supplementaire sera
remis au recipiendaire du prix national.

For 2013, the Regional winners will receive $200
and the National winner will receive an additional $500.

GENERAL
GENERALITES
1.
The EMEBranch Regional and National
Awards are presented annually to a deserving
Regular or Reserve military member of the EME
Branch, to an associated civilian employee, or to
a unit or sub-unit. The award recognizes:

which has contributed
significantly to any aspect of
EME Branch activities (may
result from a unique occurrence);

ou
b.
exemplary performance that is
not adequately recognized by any
other incentive awards.

AWARD GUIDELINES
DIRECTIVES APPLICABLES

Each region will establish a board that
will select their Regional Award recipient. The
senior Regional Representative in each region
will be responsible to manage and advertise this
program.

Chaque region constituera un comite
charge de choisir un laureat regional. Dans
chacune, I' officier superieur du GEM se
chargera de la gestion et de la publicite de ce
programme.
3.
Upon completion of the regional boards,
each region will forward their winner's file to the
.Branch Advisor's office no later than 1 April. A
National Award Board will convene to decide the
National winner. It will be chaired by the Branch
Advisor and composed of COS EME, Branch
Chief Warrant Officer, Colonel Commandant, an
OA/AOA representative for each occupation.
3.
Apres examen au comite regional,
.chaque region fera parvenir Ie dossier du
gagnant au bureau du conseiller de la Branche au
plus tard Ie 1er avril. Un comite national se
reunira pour determiner Ie gagnant national. II
sera preside par Ie conseiller de la Branche et
compose de CEM GEM, l'adjudant-chef de la
Branche, Ie colonel commandant et un
representant de chacun des metiers du GEM.
