chocolate-dipped peppermint sticks
• Peppermint sticks
• Wilton® Candy Melts®: white chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate
• Sprinkles: Red, green & gold
• Chopped nuts
• Treat bags
• Ribbon
• Scissors
• Waxed paper
• Heat source to melt chocolate: stovetop or microwave
DIRECTIONS: Read all directions before starting & use the photo as a guide.
1. Lay out waxed paper. Place the peppermint sticks on the waxed paper, without any pieces touching one another.
2. Melt the Candy Melts® following the manufacturer’s directions on the package.
3. Dip the peppermint sticks in the melted chocolate and place on the waxed paper. Embellish the chocolate with
sprinkles or nuts. Allow to cool.
4. Place each candy stick in a treat bag. Cut 7" lengths of ribbon; tie around each treat bag. Knot ribbon just above
the candy. Trim the top of the bag 2" above the knot.
